After much delay, week 4 is here!
Week 4- Usually useless, more like usually useFUL xd
This week for BOTS, the week is based around the moves that don't see the light of day in competitive mons in a standard situation. For this ladder challenge, you are to use 2 moves listed as "usually useless" on 3 pokemon. The other 3 can have standard movesets.
On top of the restrictions, certain moves on pokemon are "illegal" for this week. Illegality from here on out may result in loss of points / positioning. Anything listed under "usually useless" that is standard, such as Eldegoss with Pollen Puff, does not count as usually useless for the week. A list of a few can be found here . Let me know if there are any missing.
Also, if on a team with Grassy Terrain, Grassy Glide does not count as a "usually useless" move. This is just because it is listed under "usually useless" but is heavily beneficial on these teams
Laddering for this week will START at noon (gmt -4) on July 20th, and END at 11:59 PM gmt -4 on July 26th. PLEASE DO NOT LADDER UNTIL THE START TIME.
edit 1- weather setting moves on Liepard also do not count as "usually useless"
edit 2- to clarify- "illegal" means that the move will not count as a usually useless move.
edit 3- counter on kadabra does not count
