We’re missing three. Even if you assume that the small turtle is a Terapagos prevo instead of an evo, that would still mean we’re missing two. If the leak is accurate, I wonder what the last three new Pokémon are?
I haven't actually watched the new anime but I'm aware of the Terapagos-adjacent mystery Pokémon in it, so possibly a Terapagos prevo (assuming it's not just a form change)

Well, Khu did hint at a Mightyena Evolution, so there is that.

According to mattyoukhana_ on twitter, there are a bunch of DLC2 content implications from the stubbed text entries so far. I will copy the text of the whole tweet thread here for brevity and avoiding X embeds.
SV 2.0.1 added in even more stubbed text entries for Indigo Disk than previously mentioned. Here are a handful of new findings:
• The BB League (4 Kings) are Fairy, Fire, Steel, and Dragon specialists
• 9 camera emotes
• 23 Battle BGMs
• 30 League Club BGMs
• 1 Ribbon
New dressup items:
• 8 outfits
• 4 eyewear
• 5 gloves
• 4 bags
• 5 footwear
• 10 headwear
• 2 legwear
• 7 phone cases
• 6 hairstyles
• 6 new clothing colors
In addition to:
• 15 new met locations
• New types of Food Power that apply to all 18 types simultaneously
Tips (tutorial) images for the following internal names:
• HAGANE
• RIDEFLY
• TTYPE
• SCAN
• BBPOINT
• BBMISSION (0-4)
• CLUB
• ITEMMACHINE
• CLUBPC
• SMACHINE
• PHOTOMODE
As well as:
• 4 new restaurant food items
• 10 rooms within Blueberry Academy campus

Three new battle states:
• TyoudenkiHou
• KimaguLaser
• terasushell (presumably "Tera Shell")
New trainers:
• TARO, KAKITUBATA, NERINE, AKAMATU, SHIANO, GFATHER, GGMOTHER
• 60 generic
• 3 Dragon challenge
• 5 Fairy challenge
• 3 Fire challenge
• side_villager01/02
Personally when I see GFATHER and GGMOTHER I think of a grandfather and great grandmother. Also I feel like the new uniforms will just be more of the 4 seasons x 2 versions.

I also decided to do another text dump comparison across versions myself (available on abcboy's Bulbapedia user page) to check what else has changed between versions, comparing the SV 1.3.2 and 2.0.1 English scripts.

Obviously all the DLC1 story text has been added, but there are also a bunch of empty text files with implications for DLC2. The English script has files named "dome", "bbschool", "pair_talk", "bbmission_event", "clubroom_pc", "clubroom_pc_event", "clubroom_bgm", "club_bbmission", and "synchromachine" which is probably the SMACHINE. There are also a bunch of s2_sub files to match s1's NPCs and sdc02 for its story events and relevant dialogue changes like NPCs on the state of their assignments, and s2_side01/s2_side02 for sidequests while the signboard quest is treated as sdc01_side01 and Perrin's sidequest is in s1_side02. There also exists sdc02_4kings_a_01 (and repeat for all combinations of a/b/c/d and 01/02/03/04), which may be the equivalent to the main game's 4 talk events for each school NPC.

Another thing is that there are all new files starting with coach_ for all the important NPC names like gym_kusa (and all the gym types), bb_sister, bb_brother, paldea_top, paldea_botan/Penny, paldea_rival/Nemona, teacher_head (Clavell?), teacher_home, teacher_math, paldea_friend (Arven?), bb4kings_fairy/honoo/dragon/hagane, bbteacher_head (Briar?), event_tutorial, teacher_battle, teacher_dragon, teacher_health, teacher_ecology, teacher_history, teacher_language, and paldea4kings_zimen/hagane, which is probably for the club invitation mechanic. I think it's interesting that they use Hassel's type instead of his subject when he's still treated as a teacher instead of an E4, and also Larry is just the normal leader.

LP? Is that one of those cryptic currencies? I’m a\nlittle too old to keep up with all that. Sorry, dear.
LP is like money, right...? People keep asking me\nif they can use it at my shop. I suppose it would\r\nbe better for younger folk if I accepted LP...
I’ve made up my mind. It would be for the best if\nI started accepting LP.\c\nLet me discuss it with the caretaker. I hope you\nwon’t mind waiting a little bit for me to do that.
Oh, I’ve got some big news, dear! I’m now\naccepting LP as payment for all purchases!\c\nThe caretaker even made it so that you can use\nLP to buy things at the festival stalls too!\c\nSo from now on, you can pay with LP whenever\nyou need!
I think this is dialogue from Peachy's and I like how it makes a joke about crypto currencies. I did notice the stalls didn't take LP at first and it's a nice touch. I tried getting this dialogue and you can get the first 3 by asking to pay with LP repeatedly, but it seems like the final unlock takes something else to unlock.

Here are all the mid-battle quotes of the DLC. Kieran and Carmine have slightly different teams depending on whether you fight them before postgame or not, and they have slightly different quotes for their aces using moves as a result. Some of them just have duplicated lines though. This also contains all the lines for when you land a crit though I noticed that there aren't as much for getting crit in return, aside from Ogerpon's battle which makes sense because of Ivy Cudgel.

Since we're still going to be dealing with Kieran & Carmine, it makes sense to me that we'd probably fight their grandparents. I suspect we'll find out a little more about the situation that lead to their grandkids joining the Academy with them too; there's an implication that kitakami is fairly poor and Blueberry seems fairly prestigious

Yeah the Ursaluna battle uses the Legends battle theme (I can't remember if Alphas had their own separate theme, though the "an alpha spottedyou" music plays too). Cool to see it's selectable!

Not impossible but nothing stops a Pokemon from "speaking" during battle as well. I dunno how Ogrepon's stuff works but it wouldn't surprise me if both the cheers during the Loyal 3 "titan" battles and the phase transitions during her actual battle have similar text entries

Oh, by the way. An interesting thing I didnt' see brought up, but seeing the BGM brought up above...

23 battle songs is.....A lot. IoA, CT and TM all added uhhh like 7-8 each. CT did "double up" on a few songs since they had separate listings for the horses despite having the same song. For reference, SV base game had 25 songs

Like, even just trying to sus these out
  1. Terrarium Wild Battle
  2. BB League
  3. Kieren probably gets a new one for at least his presumed champion battle
  4. Clavell got his own theme so I presume Cyrano will as well.
  5. New theme for presumed new chunk of Area Zero
  6. Terapagos
  7. We'll assume Dokutaro is a Pokemon and doesn't use the Loyal 3 battle theme
  8. Briar's definitely getting her own theme
  9. We'll put this as an "End game" place holder
  10. And another one here too, for good measure. Base game SV had AI, Protocol and I think a third one for the victory lap.
Even if something like Area Zero gets another battle theme (the base game had 2, one for the top half and one for the bottom half) that would still need another 12 battle themes. Terapagos could probably grab another theme too. But heck even if they get really fancy and have a few new "basic" themes like a trainer battle or whatever, it's still a lot of unaccounted for themes.

As much as it churns my stomach to say is it possible the remaining 12 are old legendary battle themes ported for a legendary spam mode

Hey it could just be a standard level of overpowered and not comically so!
Now enjoy your Flip Turn Alomomola
Alomomola's buffs might be very powerful, but it's still something within fair reason, and actually requires a degree of depth and understanding of the game to use. Meanwhile, the new Legendaries, Paradoxes, Tera forms....I dunno, but I'm just tired. I'm tired of having all this stuff forced on me game after game, when all I want is a normal game of Pokemon already, where it doesn't feel like I'm being punished for not wanting use overtuned additions that feel like a child obsessed with Smogon tiers designed them. It's just not fun, you get what I mean?

Sorry if this sounds like venting, I'm kinda burnt out on Gamefreak and their fake adherence to game balance.

a division of possible legendary themes
mewtwo
kanto birds
hooh/lugia
beast trio
weather trio
regis
dialga/palkia
lake trio
generic sinnoh song if you dont want to separate heatran/cresselia. assunes regigigas gets regi theme
tao trio
genies
swords of justice
xyz trio
cosmog evos
tapus
necrozma
ultra beasts
galar dogs
eternatus
calyrex
horses
urshifu

This is a subjective list, but thats around 18-22 slots for legendary music, if you dont go the route of fusing everything into one song per region. So maybe?

possibly one theme for each slice of the terrarium?
Possible, though Kitakami only had one theme for its entire area even though you could easily have a unique one for at least the fields, the mountain and the timeless woods.

you fell directly for my trap, luring you in by not stating an obvious way to include more themes, and now you must hear me say "dog you've gotta get over this"
Even if they decide absolutely no other legends are being added to the game (we'll ignore that we still need to fill at minimum 15 slots) we still have a bunch of Legends that they presumably do not want to just sit on doing nothing with for an entire generation and DLC is the perfect venue for it.
We're probably gonna get that type of mode! It will probably be fun, even, and also include ways to get other rare or interesting Pokemon on the way to getting them like all the other legend-focused modes.

Some of these we can probably consolidate (solgaleo, lunala, necrozma can all share; Calyrex might be caught WITH the horse; mewtwo & the birds can just run the Kanto wild battle theme, etc), exclude (the UBs being put in their own category would point towards being easier to not have, Urshifu would probably be a gift ala Poipole & Type Null last game, the swords of justice just arbitrarily didn't have their battle theme remixed in SWSH, etc) and if we don't get all the legends back that helps clean up the list a fair amount too.
Also possible for a mix & match scenario; some retain their themes, others use a new generic theme or maybe there's just tiers of themes based around their power or region, etc.

Lots of options, certainly.

Thanks to Matt, we know the three titled boss fights are:
  • Terastal Terapagos
  • ??? form Terapagos (most likely the battle form the OG Riddler teased)
  • Dokutaro (?)
What interests me is that Dokutaro (if it is indeed true) is indexed after Terapagos. Does that mean dealing with Dokutaro is post-game cleanup or the ultimate climax of the story? Goddamn there's an insane amount of spoilers in the datamine

I am pleased with the latest developments and the uncovering of dokutaro, which I am convinced is going to be a poison/ghost (ending the gengar line's 2.5 decades of uniqueness) because if game freak put the ghost type on a lantern at the festival only for it to be the only type not present on the momotaro themed mons then I am going to take it as a personal slight.

It certainly looks like it could be related to glimmora. They keep showing up around terastal crystals, so it would be neat if dokutaro was some kind of raidon-esque paradox-like mon.

I don't get why people are thinking it might be a pig, though. I guess if you squint a bit it kind of looks like a cartoon pig, but I saw people throwing zhu bajie around, a character from journey to the west, which is Chinese. I know we sometimes get fish that evolve into octopuses, but I don't think GameFreak is going to make a game based on two japanese fairy tales and randomly throw in a Chinese character.

Saw it pointed out that 3 of the symbols on the DLC match up with the Kitakami flag, the stone pool at the top of oni mountain, and the blueberry academy gates. I think for the DLC, this isn't necessarily meant to mean anything other than be an indication of the things we'll see.

but it got me thinking about the SV logo symbols again. I think it's interesting how we don't see 2 of them at all, and the ones we do see, the upper two, are slightly different. In the book and on the metal plate on the descent it's a perfect hourglass shape with 2 circles next to it, but in the logo the top line continues and curves outward. The other one, the four circles with triangles in them that you can see in the geoglyph, has the triangles meet to form the square in the middle.
The lower left symbol, the hexagon, kind of sort of matches the one in the Phantom Memory page, but it's got more differences and area zero is understandably full of hexagon symbolism so it's hard to tell if that's meant to be the same one.

Unlike the DLC symbols these feel like they're probably meant to mean something and we just don't have the context for them. Which makes it really interesting that they're different at all (Briar's copy & her outfit has the same symbols so its likely not censorship like the terapagos pages), and doubly interesting that assuming the Phantom Memory one is meant to align with the lower left, there's just nothing at all that's meant to align with the lower right that I can tell. I even checked the Lab to see if there aws something scribbled on the Professor's notes but I couldn't see anything

Stray thoughts:
-Aside from pointing it out directly in the book, the geoglyph room has a waterfall you can climb solely to see the thing in full
-Only 2 of the symbols show up in the Area Zero proper; the third one that might not even actually line up is only in the book
-We know there's meant to be at least 3 new "rooms" to Area Zero. Dunno what the game considers a "room", if it's something like the professor lab maps or if the whole of area zero is a room or if its something like the geoglyph "room" or what.
-I think the other 2 symbols will show up properly in at least one of those rooms
-Since the metal plate is so up front & center, and there's a viewing platform for the geoglyph, I think we might need to interact with them in the DLC to open up the new rooms
-Interact with the other 2 in (at least one of) the new rooms, to find a way to Terapagos' room (probably the final one)?
-The 4th symbol being part of a trident feels more ominous compared to the others.
-The new chunks might be more "futuristic" so that there's something more to compliment the Futures than jsut crystal caverns and modern labs.

Unrelated thoughts to symbol chat:
Ogrepon & it's older trainer are definitely from Paldea but carried crystals is pretty interesting since this had to be a while ago. Like it's already interesting that he had to travel a long, long, long way from Paldea (in the modern day it still takes several hours by plane then more hours by bus!) but these likely weren't "tera raid" crystals either, which implies he had to have gone into Area Zero.
So why did he go there, why did he leave Paldea, why did he bring the crystals with him...feels like we might have more to learn about him in Part 2.

Oh also
In the namelist file used for labeling who is speaking in dialogue, the final entry is for an O’Nare with a curly apostrophe that never shows up as far as I know.

O'Nare also appears as the second last entry in trname for trainer names, and is mentioned once in the story script in overworld dialogue. Also of note is "Billy" who is above not mentioned anywhere else, and Heath who we never see in person or talking ingame. Ominous.

This text is used for the overworld popups and these triangles are specifically for people you can press A to talk to, and their text is stored mostly sequentially, though as you might expect O'Nare's text is skipped. The Academy Ace tournament dialogue is in sub_012 and the NPC who picks up your coins is in sub_013. 14-17 cover the ruinous legendaries and 18 covers the dialogue from the legendary rematch. 19 is empty and 20-23 have placeholder lines, and then 24 picks back up with the traveling pokemon center NPC. Since the second line mentions O'Nare by name, it seems like someone else is saying that to O'Nare and they are the one doing the anime rich girl ohoho laugh.

Here is O'Nare's name in other languages, which seem more like girl's names.
French: Naire
German: Onea
Italian: Abby
JP: ネア
Korean: 나리아
Spanish: Enrica
Chinese: 馥好

I also ended up checking the trainer data sheet organized by Hematite since there was a trainer name, and it turns out O'Nare still has trainer data as a "richf" with a level 22 female Kantonian Meowth in a Luxury Ball and the small moveset of Pay Day and Bite, both boosted by Technician. Though it's very faded out, she has 10 in each EV and 5 in each IV. I assumed the "richf" is supposed to be the Lady class as the counterpart to the Rich Boy, but it turns out they haven't shown up since ORAS and so this is the only "richf" in the game that isn't even in the game yet. She is between Raifort and all of Nemona's teams, which is pretty late in the list after all the generic raid NPCs, who incidentally all have set tera types but can't tera themselves, among other weird things which I might make a different post about at some point.

EDIT: Apparently this order seems mostly alphabetical based on the internal IDs seen in from slp32's pastebins.

Also this made me realize the connection with Billy and O'Nare with their names being a pun to form billionaire.

Here's Billy in other languages:
French: Milio
German: Billy
Italian: Nab
Japanese: ビリオ
Korean: 빌리오
Spanish: Ricardo
Chinese: 毅万

So what does this mean? If they weren't scrapped then I guess we might be seeing these rich people in the DLC or something.

EDIT: I also just realized that Nemona's parents are rich people that we never see as well so that could be somewhere this is going.
Also I knew I recognized Billy & O'Nare's names from somewhere. They had leftover NPC data from the base game! Interestingly O'Nare never uses a this Meowth, she's a purely post-game fight so she comes swinging with a Persian.
Didn't wind up being Nemona's parents though (Nemona's dad owns the Rotom Phone company, O'Nare owns Paldea Reality)

These mfs better be cooking up the most devious Geeta round 2 that'll make the haters kneel. They got two chances between the return to Area Zero and BBA rematches, dont disappoint me.
Geeta Round 2 will be the same team in the same layout but in the 85~95 level range and with held items and everyone will have to deal with the angry hot takes in every feasible thread.

The Team Star Sidequests reminds me, something I've thought even before the last update was that it feels like we're going to have some kind of race or obstacle course minigame we can do at the star bases. Like the star bases are really big and have all these scaffolding and ramps and stuff that you just uhhhh. Never interact with. When doing the star battles you never have to interact with any of the stuff and indeed there's no reason to do so. It's just this wide area that you could trim in half without losing anything.

Then the DLC trailer showed the flying minigame & the ogre oustin minigame, more stuff to use our ride Pokemon with. THen the update added icons for all the star bases but they don't do anything...but they also added icons for ogre oustin to fly straight there. We also had that bit in the trailer with a Giacomo from behind appearence in a new student outfit, so it definitely seemed like there would be sidequests involved....
so maybe that's the sidequest! You can go to the areas and do (?) in the star base using the full layouts, which does (?) for our star friends and caps their sidequest. Also they can become fly points.
