BATTLE OF THE WEEK
Welcome to SV NU's iteration of Battle of the Week! If you want to watch hype matchups between tournament veterans, new blood duke it out, or that one bo9 we were promised but never got, then this is the place you can make that happen.
How does it work?
At the start of every week, there will be a 3 day voting period in which the community, you guys, get to vote for 3 people you want to see battle, as well as one of the listed rulesets. The 2 players with the most votes will then battle it out. They get to choose the set length, with a limit of a Bo5. Additionally, the players get to choose which generation they want to play in, as long as it is NU.
Once that's done, the process restarts the following week, with the 2 players who battled and the chosen ruleset going on a 2 week cooldown where they CANNOT be voted for. Voting results and replays will be recorded in the archive posted below. If you guys have any suggestions for other rulesets to add please message me.

| Standard | Nothing special, just good ol' mons. |
| No Terastalization | Exclusive to SV, self explanatory. |
| Same Six | A chosen team of six will be given to the players, they are free to customize movesets and tera types. |
| Marquee Core | A random 2 mon marquee core will be given to the players for them to build around. |
| Usually Useless Moves | Self explanatory. |
| 3 Pokemon below NU in usage. | Self explanatory, PUBL is allowed. |
| 3 Moveslots Only | Self explanatory. |
| 3 lies | Players must announce their next move in chat before they make it, with them allowed 3 lies per game. |
