Chef ChilliTacos challenged me and won in a tough game. While midway in the game I turned aggressive in playing against him, the Zen Headbutt flinch cost me the game. GG, though.

Chef Where'dTheseDucksComeFrom challenged me and won in another tight match. My Seismitoad actually got caught off guard, but I still managed to claw back into the game until I succumbed to a Volt Switch (which in hindsight, I could have used Dragon Dance on Gyarados one more time). GG!

Chef Nightingales challenged me and lost in a tough game. While I found out that his wall breaker didn't have a Super-effective move against my win condition, I actually took advantage of that lack of detail and won with it. GG!

Chef Jetstertsyko challenged me and lost badly. While the challenger attempted to claw its way back to the game, some luck-induced factors augmented my chances of winning, with my hidden gem putting the finishing touches. GG!

Chef Lord Esche challenged me and lost in another tough match. Maybe it's because I played more aggressively with my Shedinja when the plays on both sides went more stale than I expected: letting Shedinja to stay in made a turning point of the match in my favor. GG!

Chef BrandonBeast challenged me and lost in a tough match. While he made a good play on using Will-O-Wisp on a switching Shedinja, it unfortunately missed, which cost him the game in the long run. GG, though!

Chef Umlaug challenged me and lost in a convincing fashion. While the Overheat miss from my Rotom-Heat on a switching Krookodile made me panic, fortunately, his team doesn't have "prompt" answers against my hidden gem after his Krookodile got weakened with the second Overheat, thus sealing in the game for me. GG!

Chef camo pumpkin challenged me and lost in a match that he could have a high chance of winning. While the Perish Trapping strategy came out nicely, the Ice Fang freeze made things worse for the challenger. GG, though!

Chef BrandonBeast's team started off with the hidden gems: first being Rotom, with its base form capable of spreading status and takes advantage of Hex; and the other being Mesprit, capable of running Healing Wish to bring a Pokemon back to life safely, of checking Fighting-types, and of setting up Stealth Rock. Speaking of Stealth Rock, with Mesprit using that move, Cobalion shifted its role to a straight-up set-up sweeper, serving as the win condition for the team. With the former half not liking Psychic- and Dark-types very much, Chef BrandonBeast has decided to run Mega Absol, which provided the team the offensive presence it needs, to eliminate these particulars. Suicune was then added to serve as the sole switch-in to most Fire attacks, and to serve as Rotom's big helper thanks to Roar. Speaking of Roar, he thought that Toxic Spikes would be best especially Rotom is using Hex, thus Roserade was added as the last Pokemon in the team, providing a solid Water check and an immobilizing move in Sleep Powder.

When the secret ingredient was revealed, Lord Esche immediately thought of Mawile as one of his hidden gems since Steel/Fairy is one of the best typings ever graced and it gets access to both Baton Pass and Swords Dance. He paired it with Mega Sceptile because of the type synergy provided by Mawile despite its weakness to Fire. To compensate the lack of switch-ins to Fire attacks, Suicune was then added; with both Calm Mind and Roar on one set, it can also serve as a win condition. He then added Scarf Krookodile and Sky Plate Crobat to branch out possible recipient of the Swords Dance boosts made by Mawile. Finally, he added another hidden gem in Rotom-Frost to deal with Zapdos and to gain more insurance against Mamoswine, with an added bonus of initiating momentum through Volt Switch.

King Troller's team started off with a hidden gem in Combusken, an integral part of the team by passing Speed Boosts to one of the team's attackers. He branched out possible recipients for Speed Boosts in the form of Hoopa (one of the insanely strong Special attackers in the tier having Nasty Plot), Haxorus (one of the devastating Physical attackers in the tier having Swords Dance), and another hidden gem in Abomasnow in its Base form (which allows to block any phazing attempts from Swampert and Suicune via Soundproof). There were instances that some Pokemon would even survive a hit thanks to Focus Sash; as such, Forretress was then added to set up hazards to prevent such instances that would hinder a possible sweep. Finally, Mega Sharpedo was added to the team to pick up the scraps where the rest of the members left off.

Umlaug attempted to unlock Weezing's potential with its pure Poison typing coupled with Levitate serving as a decent Fairy check, its capability of stopping slower hazard setters with Taunt, and its natural bulk sponging U-turns and punishing them with Rocky Helmet. With Weezing also capable of running Toxic Spikes, he ultimately decided to run a Balanced team incorporating hazard stacking; as such, Krookodile was then added to provide Stealth Rock and to trap Psychic-type Pokemon that would spell Weezing trouble and to foil any attempt of clearing hazards with Defog from Zapdos and Empoleon. He then added Poliwrath to take advantage of the Entry Hazards laid by Krookodile and Weezing and to serve as one of the most reliable checks to all bulky and offensive Water-types. With Poliwrath also taking care of Dark-types thanks to Circle Throw, he thought that Reuniclus would pair well with it, giving the team a much needed win condition. From there, he needed a strong Special attacker to take out Steel-types since Reuniclus forwent Focus Blast for Shadow Ball to take care of Ghost- and Psychic-types, and Salamence would fit the bill, also providing the hazard control it needs. Finally, longevity for the whole team is key to success in this team, which he ended up using Florges to fulfill that role.

camo pumpkin's team started off with a hidden gem in Murkrow with a touch of last episode's secret ingredient thanks to Perish Song. Physical attackers will be forced to switch out thanks to Feather Dance, and bulky set-up attackers would be in a tough position with Perish Song; coupling that with Mean Look would spell doom unto them. With that concept in mind, he added a Hazard-stacking core of Forretress and Ferroseed to punish any switch-in with chip damage. A physically defensive core in Suicune and Salamence were added to take advantage of the hazards laid by the team through Roar and Dragon Tail, respectively. Finally, Blissey was added to provide cleric support for the whole team.

ChilliTacos's team started off with two hidden gems, first being Mega Audino who can provide cleric support for the whole team, and the other being Mesprit, who can spread Paralysis to the opposition and can set up Stealth Rock. Metagross and Nidoking were added to provide the offensive presence it needs, both of which could be appreciated by Mesprit's paralyzing capabilities. With Steel-types being a huge nuisance to the team, Zapdos was then added to deal with almost all of them with either Thunderbolt or Heat Wave, and to provide hazard control for the team's longevity. Jetstertsyko's attempted to unlock the potentials of his hidden gems: first being Klinklang because of Shift Gear and Gear Grind, and the other being Claydol for its ability to spin away hazards. With Claydol and Klinklang having difficulty of taking care of Water-types, he added Shaymin into the team to take care of those threats. Porygon2 was then added to the team to serve as a catch-all check to any offensive Pokemon. Honchkrow was added to the team to serve as a late-game sweeper. Finally, Chandelure was added to gain insurance from Fire-type Pokemon while balancing out the offensive spectrum with Special attacks.

Nightingales tried to redefine an offensive team featuring two of the most trusted defensive cores in Alomomola and Blissey. She then formed an underrated core for a common goal: to absorb a specific type aimed at Pokemon horribly weak to it. She first picked Rhyperior, whose Water weaknesses can be handled by Mantine, and Grass weaknesses can be handled by Zebstrika. Massive Electric weaknesses from Mantine can then be handled by Rhyperior. Finally, she added Kyurem to break a lot of walls that would spell trouble to this team.
