I can just hear it now:
"OH DEAR GOD.
"No! DON'T USE PARASECT
"OUTCLASSED BY SMEARGLE AND BRELOOM"

Teambuilding Process -

First Mon. After I made my Mono Gen 1 team, I decided that I love using Parasect all of a sudden.

I figured Parasect was pretty weak to Talon, Zard and others, so I brought this thing. It brings weather control and some more power to the table.

Even with TTar, I needed something for Zard X and other setup sweepers.

I wanted to form a Zardy + TTar core, but it didn't actually work out because of Parasect's Dry Skin.

Instead of Zardy, I opted for another good wallbreaker; Mega Pidgeot.

I wanted a spinner that could be effective in the sand as well.

To finish, I needed something to counter fighting types and Talon formed a sort of BirdSpam core w/ MPidgeot.
Now that you know the process, onto the team itself.
The Team -

Evilsect (Parasect) @ Apicot Berry

Ability: Dry Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 92 HP / 252 SpD / 164 Spe
Careful Nature
- Natural Gift
- Spore
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Apicot Berry? What are you, a noob?! Please, allow me to explain. In case Heatran ever wants to switch in, I can spore into Knock Off into Natural Gift. Apicot Berry's Natural Gift type is ground with 100 BP. The EVs allow me to outspeed uninvested Azumarill and Spore. It allows me to shut down those who run Belly Drum w/ no speed EVs. Dry Skin makes me immune to aqua jet, leaving it only to go for Play Rough. And if it's banded, even better! Leech seed is residual damage and a sense of recovery. This thing checks / counters: Manaphy, Banded Azumarill, Rotom-W, Keldeo,

Calcs:
0 Atk Parasect Natural Gift vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 264-312 (68.5 - 81%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Icy Wind vs. 0 HP / 252+ SpD Parasect: 150-178 (57.4 - 68.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO -- (I can just Spore and Leech Seed, as it as no access to recovery.)

252 SpA Manaphy Energy Ball vs. 0 HP / 252+ SpD Parasect: 17-20 (6.5 - 7.6%) -- possibly the worst move ever -- (More Tail Glow + Rain Dance Manaphy variants don't run Ice Beam)

Poopitar (Tyranitar) @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch
- Superpower
"Finally, something standard!" Well, considering this is a standard set, I won't provide calcs and the things that it checks and counters; as there's a Smogon Analysis for that. Okay, so this set here can beat Zardy, Kazam, Talonflame, and much more. Being able to Pursuit trap certain mons like the Lati twins is great, as they aren't heavily effected by the Parasect [aside from Knock Off and Leech Seed]. I opted for Ice Punch so I could hit Landorus-T harder. Superpower is standard for Heatran and other TTar.

Quagmire (Quagsire) @ Leftovers

Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Scald
- Curse
This is my ZardX counter, as it is able to switch in on an EQ, Dragon Claw; whatever the case may be. Not unless this is some hybrid Zard X with Hidden Power Gra-- wait, what? So, the set is standard for a defensive Quag. EQ can hit certain mons; Zard X for example, very hard. Recover is as the name implies, recovery. So if it gets low from hazards or some sort of damage, I can shake it off. Curse was in interesting choice. I was debating going for Toxic or not, but I ended up going for Curse anyways. It'll raise my defenses and give Earthquake more of a punch. Or a shake? Whatever.

Genwunner (Pidgeot) @ Pidgeotite

Ability: Tangled Feet
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Protect
- Heat Wave
- Hyper Beam
Now, I could've opted for the obvious nickname: Bird Jesus, but in all seriousness, this is a god. It can dish out all sorts of powerful attacks and is just a great wallbreaker. It's like special Crawdaunt without trick room. I was deciding if I wanted to pack Work Up, but I then I said to myself: "How could I be able to safely set up a Mega Evo?" I then decided to go protect, as I can now safely mega evolve and get the job done. Hyper beam is just style points and an overall finishing move. Heat Wave can hit Ferro and Scizor for very hard damage!

Be Drilled? (Excadrill) @ Air Balloon

Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide / Stealth Rock
Here I have my spinner. I really needed one, as rocks hurt Pidgeot and Parasect and just annoy my team a lot. I am not using stealth rocks (but I think I should over Rock Slide). In the sand, this thing wrecks houses. I do miss out on a satisfying Rotom-W KO, but Parasect pretty much counters that already. Iron Head is for fairies and just a secondary STAB. Rock Slide can hit Talon for a KO; as well as other flying types. Again, stealth rocks are always an option for the team.

Birdspam via Email (Talonflame)
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Flare Blitz
- Will-O-Wisp
I wanted a mon to resist fighting types, and Talon fit the bill. After an SD, this thing wrecks shop. Acrobatics because I don't want too much unnecessary recoil damage put onto me. Flare Blitz is a secondary STAB that I can use to hit mons like Metagross and other steel types hard. WoW is useful in case a mon like Bisharp predicts a Flare Blitz. Not much to say about Talonflame though, it's just powerful.

Threatlist -

- This little booger is on nearly every threatlist, be it Mega or not. If Mega Pidgeot or Talonflame go down, it is downhill from there.
/
- Very tanky. If I let it set up CM's like an idiot, I pretty much lose unless MPidgeot steps it up with some hax, haha.
Conclusion -
This team is a more offensive team, with the necessary support mons to make it work. I also made this team in conjunction to a new room idea I'm planning: A room where you can share and discuss your creative sets and Pokemon. I hope you all like it, and if you have any tips (ofc I'm not replacing Parasect), please tell me! Thanks guys, and later.

Holy shit Parasect lmao.

Looking at your threat list, how about instead of using Mega Pidgeot. I recommend using Mega Diancie since it could take care of Mega (or not) Sableye or maybe Slowbro if you weaken it.

fuck scizor (Diancie) @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect

After playing a few more games with Mega Diancie, I feel like I've lost some sort of offensive pressure. Also, Ferrothorn and Scizor threaten my team a bit more now. .o. As long as I have MMidgeot & Talon, I think Sableye should be easy to take down tbh. Now Slowbro is still a hard nut to crack.

Hi n_n,Nice RMT :) , Parasect FTW :D!!!!

Using Serperior over Parasect can solve your problemsproblems :x

Btw nice team,u can deal with Mega slow bro with a little change I.e. using Band over Scarf on Tyranitar :3 ,I think quag + talon can deal with those Pokemons which are weak to Ice
So there it is
Poopitar (Tyranitar) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Superpower

Band tyranitar gets more HP so it deals with Lati Twins better and 80 speed is used to out speed Skarmory banded ttar can 2hko Skarm after rocks so its awesome! :D

P.S. Good Luck,Have Fun :3

Banned deucer.
Interesting team. Some changes I would make are Roost > Will-o-Wisp on Talonflame, Jolly > Adamant and 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe > 252 Atk /252 Spe. Also, run Toxic > Curse on Quagsire because as you mentioned, you have a big problem with Mega Slowbro. Toxic cripples any variant of it that isn't RestTalk and Parasect can wall RestTalk Slowbro as it usually runs Scald as its only attacking move.

Roost gives Talonflame longevity to set up on threats like Mega Sableye as long as it lacks Foul Play, while the nature and speed investment allows it to outrun base 115 speed Pokemon, especially Raikou as you can OHKO with Flare Blitz if you hit SD on the switch in.
+2 252 Atk Talonflame Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Raikou: 364-429 (113.3 - 133.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Def / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

Interesting choice of Parasect there, I don't know if it is actually more than a gimmick, but I'm not questioning the pokemon and I'll leave the set as it is.

However, I do not understand the choice of Quagsire. I see how it is your immunity to Water and Electric and counters Zard X, but Zard really doesn't set up on much and you should be able to revenge kill it with Excadrill if you keep Sand up. Quagsire is generally too passive to fit on an offensive team, so you could try Seismitoad here, which offers the same immunities and provides Stealth Rock, which you always need on a team.

Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic

Seconding the small changes the others suggested, and adding Adamant > Jolly on Excadrill as well as U-turn > Protect on Pidgeot. Pidgeot is already reasonably fast pre-mega and shouldn't have trouble finding a pokemon that it can mega-evolve against.
