Gen 1 Burgundy Version Tournament

Welcome to the first tournament of Burgundy Version, a Gen 1-based Pet Mod that adds new Pokemon, new moves and rebalances existing Pokemon to fit them in the Gen 1 metagame. The mod should still feel like RBY, however various mechanic alterations have made it a more enjoyable tier to play by removing a lot of jank. If you've been cautious about playing RBY, this might be the mod for you. It ends up feeling like a distinct generation of Pokemon instead of the gen it is based on.
We are on a playtesting break to gather data about our mod to help us make better decisions about the next few slates.

- Discord - Feel free to join the Discord server, if you have any further questions or if you just want to be part of the mod!
- Changelog, Viability List and Sample Teams - Check this out, to get an idea of the changes that were made, to see what's good or if you need a team.
Tournament Rules:
- All general rules apply. Click here for guidelines about scheduling matches.
- Matches are Best of 3, which means that the first person to win two games wins the set and moves on in the tournament.
- Matches are to be played in the Dragon Heaven Showdown Server. It is very highly recommended that you use the Dragon Heaven client, which makes teambuilding and battling much easier. Said client is linked above.
- Replays are mandatory, posted by the winner in the thread.
- This is a double elimination tournament. Depending on signups, this might change to other formats (swiss, round robin, etc).
The Prize:
- While not a cash prize, we are allowing the winner of the tournament to take any unvetoed sub made in the mod's history and have it added into the mod, no questions asked. The idea is that the winner, having played the meta so much, will know what kind of sub would fill a hole in the meta.
