Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I’ll add a little bit to this: quite a few people seem convinced that the game takes place in the 1800s because of a Wikipedia article they skimmed, but that doesn’t seem particularly possible. If you look at the sketched map, you can quite clearly see a Pokémon battle arena with a modern...
Potentially important thing. The website calls Ursaluna-Bloodmoon an “event that occurs” so the fact that the website says that about the paradoxes doesn’t mean they aren’t catchable, in case anyone was still unsure.
Very confident now that the original Khu post was about something else. Not...
We know from Khu that Terapagos-N has a form changing ability, since he said that it can’t be replaced by neutralising gas. The natural assumption to me is that both normal and terastal have the same ability, and that yeah there’s an additional embody aspect type thing.
If I remember correctly...

Not really sure what this means, but I’ve seen it raised that this might be referring to how he teased Dipplin evo’s type, potentially being bug/dragon.
Considering the person who originated it, I doubt it’s a coincidence. It was probably a leak (or an “educated guess”, you know how these types of things are) that Khu might have just thought came from a datamine.
I’m pretty sure Khu jumped the gun on calling it a datamine, it comes from the Chinese riddler lol. I think it’s real and he was probably just looking for an excuse to reveal it, and legitimately did not know its origins. Unless he actually somehow doesn’t know the real list of 25.
I agree with the point generally that if you’re gonna give a Pokémon 8 heads it should probably use them in its moveset, but the Dipplin evo, at least according to Khu’s hints, is explicitly not a hydra. It is Yamato No Orochi. Certainly a similar concept but that’s a different mythology.
Personally I think the idea that Dipplin evo’s signature move and ability both being tied to the fact that it maybe sort of has a chance of being connected to a poison type legendary is unlikely, considering then it’s gameplay would not reflect the fact is has 8 damn heads LOL
I think what’s most likely to happen with Terapagos’s “third form” is that it’s a terastal state, like what Ogerpon has. So it would be “useable” but only in a limited way.
It’s not; they added data in the game for the new type, and it comes after typeless in the data, so it is different.
Jan actually translated what Khu (seemingly) confirmed the Chinese name of the type as. Which basically amounts to “Star Crystal”, which he mentions here...
I’m not sure that interpretation works? Because Dokutaro is almost certainly a Pokémon you encounter in Kitakami, unless Terapagos is encountered in the blueberry academy I am very doubtful of that interpretation.
My idea was maybe that it is Pokémon you can only get 1 of per save file? So...
The internal index ID is really weird, so I’m a bit weary of it meaning last minute additions (if it was though, pretty sure it was the Charcadet and Tinkatink lines who were last)?
A lot of the last minute stuff comes from the codenames. Toedscool and Toedscruel having the names of Magikarp...
Honestly, I think they were added in an early update mainly because they were cut from the base game. A lot of evidence they were intended to be the final paradox and not Roaring Moon/Iron Valiant
