SS: Danny vs fish anemometer - Both recycled teams last week so hopefully we see something fresh here. They both also ran into some tough matchups (Sub NP Rotom for fish, Taunt Froslass + Thwackey for Danny) which they couldn't overcome, so I think there will be more focus coming into this week. Tbh, I don't pay attention to SV tours and don't really know fish much as a player so I'm picking Danny b/c I know what he's capable of and has a lot of SS ZU experience to fall back on.

SM: BaitWiz vs love chants - This is a pretty interesting matchup to me because Bait has reliable SM knowledge and love chants is an old pu/zu user that's on top of SV, so it's cool to see him dip back into an older gen. This is a toss-up for me because love chants seems like the better player, but SM prep can go a long way and Bait can pack some techs (and lock in too).

ORAS: OranBerryBlissey10 vs sleid - The Pikachu-Belle bring was so cool to see into Ho3n and ended up being a great call into those types of structures. sleid brought a fat, solid team that I'm assuming couldn't fit hazard control and it worked out nicely into 5dots. I was more impressed by OBB week 1 and have more confidence in him than sleid here.

BW: Medeia vs innovamania - Full bias pick after inno's zupl season. Should be a fun one because I liked the Specs Glaceon from Medeia and the game was close too.

DPP: wooper vs skrimps - More impressive week 1. Both seem knowledgeable on DPP and wooper should want to make a statement after that week 1 loss, so I think some cool techs will come out from either side.

ADV: BeatsBlack vs LustfulLice - I couldn't take away a lot from Lice's game due to the t1 crit and how sun put in work against his team. He was able to make some good plays, but was too far behind. Beats's win was impressive and he seems p knowledgeable across the board, so I favor him here.

GSC: SANKE CARP vs BloodAce - bias pick + don't know GSC

RBY: NotVeryCake vs SaDiSTiCNarwhal - opposite to the above two picks

Tynamo Typhoons (5) vs. ZU latr Feraligatr (3)
SS: clean vs DugZa - Tbh I couldn't really scout DugZa week 1 and didn't try that hard enough to look after that. He's a solid player and has good support behind him with fruits, toto, and twitt. However, I rate clean as one of or the best player in the SS pool due to his track record and meta knowledge. This should be a competitive Sunday game and one I hope to catch live.

SM: BIG WILL vs a fruitshop owner - Imo BIG WILL and the tynamos have to catch up on SM because that week 1 team and play left something to be desired. AFO on the other hand is solid and has a great foundation to work from.

ORAS: 5Dots vs Banbadoro - Mix of a gut feeling and the play+building from both last week wasn't super impressive. I think 5dots will pay more attention to mons and structures he can't break through (should've brought trapper duo with a team that weak to Bronzor). However, prepping against toto+twitt+fruits is a huge pain in of itself. Similarly, I think after week 1 that Banbadoro will come into this week better prepped in terms of play and make better calls in game.

BW: Monai vs yovan33321 - Monai is proven top BW and knows the meta thorougly. Yovan was nice too week 1 so this is a highlight match imo.

DPP: Valerie vs HSOWA - More familiar with HSOWA

ADV: SEA vs MZ - Hope to see some Strokes nicknames. Seriously though, this is another highlight as two of the top players in the pool face one another. MZ can bring out techs like we saw in week 1, while I assume SEA will bring something consistent that covers the meta.

GSC: RealJester vs SOMALIA - toss up, dunno

RBY: nicole7735 vs Ice Yazu - toss up, dunno

Trap Passing was recently added to the already numerous and exhausting list of Baton Pass clauses. This was implemented onto PS earlier today in the challengeable format. However, due to it being midweek it is unfortunately permissible for the second week of ADV ZU games. Thus, its important that all ADV ZU games happen on Smog Tours for remainder of Week 2.
