Is Sneasel trendy now? Are Psychic/Fairy types making their grand return? Why is Petilil so cute? So many question to be answered today at the Playground! This is where babies become... slightly stronger babies, I guess.
At first glance it seems Hondour is going to be quite powerful against TheEver's whole team, wonder how that will turn out.
Anyway, time for the traditional coin toss!

INDIG0N decides to show their trump card right off the bat... and it pays! I would like to point out that stat boosting is generally weaker here than on cartridge due to being a flat boost. In a way, this makes Houndour the embodiment of greed, which is a sin. And with Sneasel trying to use the stat boosts against it, we can say with confidence that this battle is, in fact, a convoluted retelling of Sin and Punishment.
Yay for literature!
Oh, also Sneasel is going to melt soon. Wonder if TheEver is going to switch or just let it fall and hopefully turn the tables with a replacement.

One Sneasel down, one to go! Also, here's a pro tip from yours truly: if you're about to be KOed, preserving energy is useless. Since you're on the brink of fainting anyway, fire away! Squeeze in that extra bit of damage that makes revenge killing all the easier. It's only when the duel is either very early or very late that you want to pace yourself...

It's hard to see Petilil being so ineffective, cause it's very cute. Alas, Early Bird prevents Sleep Powder from being useful at all (it's the first time I've ever seen that Ability do something!), and Houndour takes full advantage of the window of opportunity provided and chars Petilil almost to a crisp. Now it's weakened, but still faster and it has enough fuel in the tank for a couple attacks. Will Houndoom eventually become INDIG0N's signature Pokémon ?

Finally, the mighty beast falls, but not before extracting the absolute most out of its energy reserves. Do you want a fun fact? Hatenna could've totally Aromatherapy'd here since Houndour would've been KO'd by the poison either way. It's the little tips like that that can win you a match!

That's right, I forgot to mark the cooldown for Sneasel, and it's big enough to warrant a reorder. INDIG0N I assume this changes your actions? TheEver I deleted your post as to not reveal your intentions, so you'll have to reorder as well.
