Pokestar Studios is the latest update to National Dex Doubles, featuring multiple new Pokemon, mechanics, and items.
Many people have asked for this to be added to the tier, and after gaining approval from R8, I am pleased to announce this.
First off, we'll be adding a variety of new Pokemon to the tier. This is only a small selection! The rest of them are available in the teambuilder.
From left to right, we have...
MT2, a Steel-Electric type.
Monica, a Normal Type.
Future Being, a Steel-Fighting type.
UFO, a Flying-Electric type.
Not only this, but we've updated the rules of the tier to allow item usage in-battle, much like the main series games.
Here's a few examples of the items you can use obtain and/or use:
Max Revive - Fully revives a single fainted Pokemon.
Escape Rope - Losing badly? Allows you to end a battle immediately.
Full Restore - Fully heals the HP of a single Pokemon and its status conditions.
Big Pearl - Redeemable for prizes in the ND DOU store. The store will open tomorrow, please be patient!

For each battle you complete on the ladder, you will earn these items, and many others.
Lastly, due to popular demand, we're adding... Gems!
Recent revisions to the identity of National Dex have determined that gems are now a transferable item, so all 16 gems are now available for use in the tier at the original 1.5x move base power increase. We know that there's often not enough ways to KO opposing Pokemon and things often feel underpowered, so we hope that this will alleviate the balance issues in the tier.
