A recent discovery in Klam's Labyrinth of U. Dunder Oozed has revealed a sealed journal belonging to the infamous Captain Ursula S.V. Upshaw. Her storied travels were considered children's myths until this actual relic was uncovered by the 973rd Expeditionary Force. For the first time in our storied history, we are receiving a direct, personal glimpse into the captain's travels. And the findings are remarkable....
Below is an excerpt from Chapter 6 of the journal. Please be aware that the following may contain content not suitable for starter stage Pokemon, reader discretion is advised:
Chapter VI: Land of the Rising Sun
For once, we didn’t wake up unconscious in another time, rather being fully awake admiring the open plains, clear sky, and beautiful cherry blossom trees of the time we are in. Quagson confirmed that we landed in the correct time of feudal Japan to find the right Pokemon to absorb the virus and create the cure for Pokerus. We walked for several miles until we saw a village in the distance, but then a young Ralts on a rock made eye contact with me and blew his trumpet. Suddenly we were surrounded by a group of Baxcalibur. The leader of the village, Remy, approached us and demanded who we were. I explained our story of being from another time, but he laughed us off and prepared us for execution. Just then, we hear another trumpet blowing of an emergency in the village: Dolliv Bandits were stealing food and goods! The leader stated that if we were to help protect the village, he would hear us out, so we hurried everyone inside the main hall while the Baxcalibur fought off the invading Dollivs!

The Baxcalibur continued their bout with the Dollivs away from the village and we helped escort the people back to their homes. The leader thanked us for our help and by his Bushido code asked what we needed. Quagson responded by saying we needed to search for herbs on the top of the highest mountain in the world to find the cure for a virus. Just then, the leader’s daughter, Princess Kaguya walked in, telling her father about the farmland destroyed from the invasion. I could tell Quagson had become infatuated with her, but before I could tell him to stay on task, he offered to help repair the farmland. And so we were put to work on the farms, growing tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, and a plant I’ve never heard of called vivalospride. We saw a group of Dudunsparces, likely the ancestors of Dave’s Dudunsparces, taunting a group of shroodles on who could plant the most crops. Before I knew it, a planting showdown began between the two groups!

So many crops were planted that we had no idea who planted more, resulting in a massive feast for everyone! During the feast, I could see Quagson talking to the princess and making her laugh. He is the definition of rizz. I spoke with the leader more and he allowed Gengardo and I to use his strongest Spidops warriors for a training exercise before we climbed the mountain tomorrow. We were training near the sea when I noticed an iceberg slowly growing closer, hearing crude laughs. Suddenly, an Ice Shard knocked out a Spidops and a group of Cetitans landed ashore, claiming to find the One Piece. The Spidops, Gengardo, and I readied for battle!

Both teams were deeply injured in the battle. With the Spidops hurt, it would just be my crew to venture the mountain for the herbs. Still, I saw the determination on their faces and we left in the morning. The future depended on us. On the climb we saw some Skeledirge in a cave. They looked hungry so we gave them some leftover vivalospride to satisfy their hunger. They were so delighted. We eventually reached the top of the mountain at an altitude so high we were standing in the ozone layer. We walked into the cave where the herbs grew under the moonlight, but not long after entering we were quickly ambushed by some Lokix. They saw our gear with the village emblem and got mad that we were from the village that exiled their ancestors and forced them to live in the darkness. The moon was about to enter into its dark phase and the plants would wither, so we couldn’t waste any time, but fortunately the Skeledirge that we fed earlier held them off so we could advance as gratitude for the food.

We raced to the deepest cavern in the mountain top where the herbs shone on the pedestal in the moonlight. We were about to store the moonlight in a lantern and keep it near the herbs, but we were quickly blasted with scales. In the top of the cavern lay a furious dragon who had wings like the moon. It let out a terrifying roar and engaged us into a battle. We kept it trapped in a series of combos, but one wrong move and it could defeat us all. As I was about to nail it with a Gigaton Hammer, it radiated with energy and didn’t take as much damage from the attack as before. Gengardo used Sludge Bomb but it did not affect it at all. I quickly deduced it had somehow become a Steel-type! It quickly used Dragon Dance and knocked Quagson through a wall, then beat Gengardo and I. I had escaped dozens of perilous situations, but was this finally the end? I then see Quagson still standing to fight the monster. He let out a battle cry, raced towards the dragon, and bitch slapped the hell out of it. It fired Scale Shot but Quagson himself began to glow and took no damage from the attack. He had become a Fairy-type! Both sides were evenly matched, trading blows while anime music was playing in the background. The Roaring beast from the moon landed a critical blow with Iron Head, but Quagson held in all the damage and retaliated with the craziest counter I’ve ever seen, knocking it out cold. We had won. We returned to the village where Quagson proposed to the princess. She accepted and we all had a crazy wedding party. The Lokix made amends with the leader and everyone was happy.
A few days later the antidote was made by feeding the herbs to a Munchlax and processing its droppings into medicinal form. I gathered my crew to return to our time, but Quagson said he wanted to stay here and protect everyone. He has grown strong, and while he was my first crewmate, I truly saw his happiness and gave my blessing for him to stay. Looking back on the village, Gengardo and I nodded as we shot back to our time.
