A recent discovery in Klam's Labyrinth of U. Dunder Oozed has revealed a sealed journal belonging to the infamous Captain Ursula S.V. Upshaw. Her storied travels were considered children's myths until this actual relic was uncovered by the 973rd Expeditionary Force. For the first time in our storied history, we are receiving a direct, personal glimpse into the captain's travels. And the findings are remarkable....

Below is an excerpt from Chapter 5 of the journal. Please be aware that the following may contain content not suitable for starter stage pokemon, reader discretion is advised:

The year is 3192XE. Robotic pokemon have invaded our culture and have overthrown the pokemon trainers! There is a new world order controlled by the "Supreme Overlord" who oversees all regions. At least that was the story told by "The Resistance", a group of freedom Shroodle fighters fighting against the world government. As Gengardo was speaking to them, the World Police showed up to disperse the talks of opposition! Giant Cetitans with badges, a horrifying concept, proclaimed all opposition to the New World Order to be illegal! I did not take sides in this matter, but a battle was inevitable.

The police decided to give us a warning after a reasonable discussion involving clean criminal records, but as we were leaving the park a large robotic van pulled in front of me! Before I could think there was a bag over my head and I had been taken in! I feared for Quagson and Gengardo's safety, as I am their captain and am totally responsible for them. But I could hear a struggle - the van had crashed in into the sea! And a fight was ongoing! I unbagged myself during the commotion and saw a slew of Skeledirge and Baxcalibur fighting on platforms in the open ocean!

After the fighting had stopped, it turned out the Baxcaliburs were merely salesmonsters trying to sell us new property that had just opened up thanks to King Thornydude, the President of the New World Order. I requested an audience with this President so that I could fact check all of the rumors and stories from Tinkaton MZ Mangazine. We were escorted into Iron Moth Transport Fighters to the Supreme Island of Iron Armor, where we were to meet King Thornydude. I found it odd that he was a President, yet addressed as "King", but before I could think twice we were in the midst of an aerial assault! Our Spidops pilots would need to fend off the incoming Rigatoni Rebels from the Dolliv Garden of Freedom! I did not know whose side was correct in this conflict, but I simply hoped to survive the onslaught.

After three rounds, we finally made it to the Island where we were introduced to King Thornydude. He seemed rather kind, big smile, lots of iron scales and thorns on his back which I am sure were a burden, but he was also very large in size! He was telling us that the virus "Pokerus" had evolved to be a zombie-like virus that wiped out most of life, and as a result pokemon were forced to become robotic to be immune from its spread. In fact, Mr. Thornydude himself was once infected and went on a rampage to destroy U. Dudington, the largest metropolis in U. Dunder Oozed, which has now been renamed to Under U. Z'd. But before the story was complete, a swarm of Lokix broke into the Throne Room demanding that King Thornydude step down! They claimed to be from the Senate but had clear magical powers! King Thornydude's personal guard, Dave's Dudunsparces, were dispatched and a fierce battle ensued!

The 984th Continental Congress Breakfast finally adjourned. President Iron Thornydude was to remain in power. However, since Quagson was a doctor, I ordered him to inspect the origins of this "Pokerus" and why it had such a cataclysmic effect on society. He stated that we needed a Pokemon like Wolverine to absorb the virus in the past and develop the proper antibodies. He also stated "Bushido", which was far more than Quagson usually spoke. But it seemed we were at a standstill in this time period. If the future was to be saved, we would need to travel back to the past... and so we entered the portal created by Pixar Studios back to another time.....
