  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.​
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.​

Magician vs. HANTSUKI: magician brought a v standard rain offense last week and lost a somewhat close game to iry, after lax boomed meta I assumed deoa was slide and it'd come down to a tie but that wasn't the case. hantsuki beat SEA last week with some ancient shit and what I'm told was a bit of luck but it was really funny. close mu magician could definitely win with another solid team and a few in game adjustments but I wanna see hantsuki win with some heat
Heysup vs. Iry: JAJSHUWGG (definitely a hl mu between two different schools of thought)
MMII vs. SuperEpicAmpharos: mm2 brought one of his usual sun stalls and kinda farmed, sea brought a balance and sub dd gyara beat him after setting up vs paralyzed bliss. still giving sea the edge based on prior showings, if he gets into his own head again during prep then I can definitely see mm2 taking it tho
Alkione vs. Raph369: alkione's prep fell a bit short last week while raph played A Series with heysup. taking BIG BANDAR off experience and that's about it ngl, idt he's extremely favored or anything I just don't have much to say about this mu

Defiant Durians vs Void Villains
SV Ubers: Star vs SoulWind - Soulwind played really well last week and still has probably the best building support in the pool, but this is for sure a highlight game. Looking forward to watching it.
SV Ubers: TPP vs kythr - Toss of a coin here, both very good players who arent known for their Ubers compared to their other tiers. Going to go TPP given his win last week with a team I liked the look of.
SV Ubers: RichardMillePlain vs tier - Tier had a very poor matchup into mind gaming last week, but I back him to bounce back in conjunction with Richard being very busy this week with exams. I heard strong rumours that he wasnt even going to play, and I think that the attention being on something else wont help him here against a motivated tier.
SS Ubers: Kate vs Fc - Kate uses very weird things, and Fc's teams tend to be too solid to have a poor matchup into gimmicks, so I suspect he will win again and keep on winning.
Bo3: Mashing vs Garay oak - I think Garay is just too strong, especially in gens 7 and 8.

Devastating Dialgas vs Alolan Mukkers
SV Ubers: elodin vs Xrn - Xrn is coming off the back of a very convincing win against Star, and I still dont really understand who is supporting the current gen slots for the dialgas. Thus, easy predict for Xrn.
SV Ubers: crying vs corvere - crying was relatively unconvincing against billy last week, but I will back them to return to their form of last year, winning open into a positive scl (and SPL) gets them a lot of leeway in my predictions.
SV Ubers: Lily vs Manaphy - Manaphy had an excellent game against Richard last week, and Lily has a similar problem as elodin with no regular ubers builders on the team to bounce ideas off. Manaphy has also historically excelled in fresh metas, which this post-home meta definitely is.
SS Ubers: QWILY vs DNNP - I think DNNP really doesnt like SS Ubers, and that effects how well he plays. I also think QWILY has slightly more up to date teams.
Bo3: Fogbound Lake vs SiTuM - I think Fog wins gen9, and situm wins gen7, much like my situm prediction from last week. Then it comes back down to gen8 between the two of them, and I feel Fog's SS is stronger than Situm's. I will say, I think this is a more favourable matchup for Situm than Mashing was last week, as I think he is closer to fog in terms of SV than mashing is, and it wouldnt surprise me if the gen9 game went either way. 55-45.

DaReal Drizzlers vs Dangerous Dracovish
SV Ubers: Taka vs pichus - While Pichus did get a fortunate crit in their game against Floss last week, I felt the general game and play went well and I liked the team choice with it too, while Taka loaded Fireceus while not being called Aurora.
SV Ubers: Dark Shion vs 64 Squares - I have no real initial thoughts about Dark Shion, I'm aware they're good at OU, but I will back the player who has more experience in an Ubers setting here. 64 squares was out for a while, but didnt look that bad against soulwind, so I'll give him the edge.
SV Ubers: ox04 vs mind gaming - ox04's creativity will be very useful here, as you just have no real idea what he's going to run, and that gives him an edge against mind gaming in conjunction with his solid play. However, I also think that if mind gaming has a matchup advantage, he wont lose that advantage.
SS Ubers: lotiasite vs Icemaster - As much as I have a lot of faith in loti, Ice was my #2 for a reason. I hope Ice backs up his words and brings a clefable to try and show its strengths.
Bo3: Lunala vs Goat Heart ♥ - Goat Heart just beat Garay in 2, so I cant really overlook that, even after an impressive showing in the bo3 slot from Luna last week. Goat Heart in good form is a very formidable opponent, and this will be a real test for Luna's future bo3 success.

Kebabe vs. Edgar: I actually think that this is a pretty even matchup and that this could go either way. Both are notable for their consistent BW prowess across many years. However, I'm going to give Kebabe the edge here given that, per the law of averages, some luck should swing his way after every single Pokemon in his teambuilder got crit by Extreme Speed last week. Edgar should be hoping that Genesect does not make an appearance.

Thor vs. Monai: It's always hard to predict against Thor in BW, and I suspect opening his UPL XI account by winning a game with the forbidden Johto legendary whose name I shall not type has only empowered him. Monai has been more than a match for Thor in the past, though, so counting him out completely would be foolish.

Li Xiao Long vs. The Dovahneer: Li Xiao Long had a good showing last week in his first team tour game after many years away. He also keeps denying me roomtour wins, and being able to beat The Rora consistently is obviously the most useful and important measurement of talent available. I think Dovah being around much more consistently and thus getting a lot more BW games in during that time favours him slightly, but this is also a hard one to pick.

SM Ubers: Cam vs pdt: Cam has a lot of experience in SM tiers in general and has better team support as long as people don’t tinker with an already made team.
Bo3: Mashing vs Garay oak: preview gens goat. I think mashing could take SV in the builder potentially depends how much garay preps.
SM Ubers: Sharow vs March Fires: best player in the pool
Bo3: Fogbound Lake vs SiTuM: don’t really know who has the edge in ss or sv but I think Situm is better at SM
SM Ubers: FatFighter2 vs Rhmsitb: this matchup is virtually a coin flip to me I think rhm can be a bit predictable in the builder but i do think he’s the better pilot.
Bo3: Guard vs Skarph: skarphs really good

RealJester vs Spellcaster: Both players lost Week 1 but Jester looked better. Spellcaster has some leveling up to do.

Mr.378 vs. BigFatMantis: Daniel really did not look like he was setting the world on fire in his game vs. Amaranth. BFM made an absolutely ludicrous play vs. Jester last week but it paid off??, so here we are. BFM won their most recent Bo3, Daniel is looking increasingly like the field is catching up and overtaking him, so based on recent form I will bold BFM. That's right Daniel, I am predicting you to lose, prove your immortality or forever hold your peace.

Conflict vs vani: Oooooh boy. This is it folks, this is the matchup of the tournament. The two Germans vying for the top slot at Mr. Silver - one of the most seasoned players of all time versus one of the GSC all-round GOATs. (SPL managers fucked up big time not drafting vani, ya'll mad.)
After my loss to Conflict last week I said that he is the best pilot in the format, but sometimes goes astray with team choices that lead him to take losses otherwise preventable - when he loads solid teams, he is near unbeatable, so the question becomes if his selection of six will do him justice.
vani on the other hand is piloting very well (though maybe not yet at Conflict's level imo, albeit close), but his level of preparation is easily the highest. Historically I believe this has paid off for vani specifically vs. Conflict, with several surprise techs landing and securing the W. I am stoked to see how this game turns out - I am expecting some kind of technology from vani and time will tell if it's gonna succeed or not. RNG gods better be balanced here because this game should have fireworks.
