etern vs Beleth - i would go with etern here after watching and comparing their WEEK 1 replays. etern played wonderfully and won his game while beleth lost the game vs one of the best one who is rising above ( primalkyogre ) however reason i did not bold beleth here is mainly because

in this match , pk had no defogger in his team so getting some hazards up and then going all out with offense should have been the play imo but beleth used mirai before getting any of the spikes layer up which costed them mirai while arc ground survived at 7% HP ( would't have survived after 1 spike layer ). Since mirai had used agility and was +1 sp atk too at that time then not only had arc ground of pk died but he would have been forced to use his terra too defensively which could have been a game changer for beleth. I also watched their w3 games and plays in those convinced me even more.
Im aware two replays doesnt suffice for understanding a player but im making predictions based on what i saw from them in UWC only even in which i will prob miss lot of crucial points that should be considered as im more of a big talk guy only.

RichardMillePlain - this will be really close. My reason for bolding richard is that he won the game with an ou pokemon ( kingambit) while aber had to use the broken basculegion.

im more impressed by stallion's teams ( s/o trade? lol not sure) than shuwri's although shuw's teams were top notch and creative themselves ( won too !)
regardless shuw is the toughest opponent for anyone so dont count shuw out. will be really close.

Drifting vs Staxi - " omg gareeb you gooby goober why do you never bold staxi " is what many might be thinking rn but trust me i have never actually seen staxi play sm ubers except this uwc which isnt going v well for them . Meanwhile drifting's gameplays ( and team too to some degree ) are like stock market graphs. one week they are bottom and another he knows exactly what to go in his match and cleans

vs Royal1604 - royal plays well but if i were to talk about this uwc only his games are really hard to know what form he is in in UWC , why? well thats because royal absolutely lucked his opponents in week 1 and week 2 while got unlucky in week 3 so really hard to judge based on those. On the other side we all know how incredible byron is in oras. Im not bolding this but my thoughts on this matchup woule be - with RNG it could go royal's side pretty easily WHILE w/o rng byron will win this one with moderate difficulty.

March Fires vs SiTuM - Wont comment much cuz one side is BW veteran with more exp than i have ever been on PS and the other is somewhat new to BW although he too have claimed some W this uwc.

overall my thoughts are oceania has a clear advantage here ( shown by their standing in pool 1 too which is RANK 1 ) so team france ( one im rooting for in pool 1 ) will have to tryhard a LOT this week. Royal , shuwri , staxi and ADV can really turn the tide in team france's favour.

Sabella - i might be wrong but this is the 2nd match luis is playing in this uwc while sabella 3rd. So not does sabella have played more but also managed to defeat richard which puts them ahead in my mental PR lol. Luis only game this uwc ended up in a impressive victory as well so this wont be as one sided as one might assume.

tier - from terra fairy etern as korai check in week 1 to arc water in week 2 and then HO in week 3 , i believe javi is constantly evolving teambuilding wise ( unless someone else is passing them the squad ) whereas in terms of gameplay i found tier to be better
javi stayed with arc water vs choiced ogre clicking water move in week 1 for many turns while having water absorb clod on back and with some unfort ( opposing ogre was para but didnt got full para at all ) LOST their arc water while tier made some proactive plays in their first game in UWC ( i believe it was first? ).

they stayed with yve so long crying came with yve , knocked , roosted , went ho oh and yve back and forth to regenerate HP while using suicide webs lead and having weavile on back and in the end cryingg had webs defogged and both birds at full w/o any consequences i havent watch any other replays or of mimikyu but i think replay convinced me enough and cant really watch ss replays lmao they arent that fun to watch.
