SV: Trade vs OreoSpeedruns
SV: Stallion vs Sabella - strongg
SV: Aberforth vs robjr - v tough to bold here. Aber good in ubers but lost last week and everyone knows rob bro. will lean towards rob here cuz of w1 results.

SS: baconeatinassassin vs avarice
USM: Drifting vs Zesty43 - drifting defeated pg ( im not crying , you are ! ) redeem pride of us ubers mainers zesty!!!!!!
ORAS: byronthewellwell vs The Dovahneer - highlight for me in this team !! Byron is an absolute monster when serious while dova has the ability to win vs quite literally everyone in any gen. pleass tag me time of whenever you play dova in ubers cord.
BW: March Fires vs Monai - m fires always , ids a reason not to bold him.
DPP: shrang vs Nineveh - Dr shrang is unstoppable man. Saving lives in real life and taking souls in DPP ubers.
ADV: MTB vs FatFighter2 - my weakest gen

Team Brazil (2) vs (3) Team US West

SV: Skyiew vs Frito - bro won vs aber w1
SV: dog mendigoso vs MAHOH
SV: JojenReed vs skierdude101 - jojen did so well but unfort their opp had the best team in week 1

DPP: Alkione vs burstbean
ADV: Raph369 vs gostop - adv is raph's playarea but its adv so...

lack of info on china and their innovative approach to this game is what makes them so incredibly powerful foes , noone expected china to dominate W1 so hard but they did while everyone expected france to go crazy and they couldnt.
full of surprises here !

POOL 2

Team Europe (5) vs (1) Team Benelux

SV: entrocefalo vs Drud
SV: Terracotta vs Ivar57
SV: Reje vs Michielleus - i told you skimmy , reje is a monster (pain)
SV: Nyx vs Quinn
SS: Icemaster vs Wesleyy - icemaster dhik chik dhak chik
SM: Garay oak vs Kipkluif - you saw it right , i did not bolded my 2nd fav player. If kip prepped and then brought that team vs goat in W1 that means kip prep is v crazy. garay will have a tough time. He can still win cuz of his insane gameplay though !!
ORAS: Hack vs Blue YM - no need to say anything lmao
BW: Kebabe vs Ninjawarrior7778 - not just a great player but a nice person too from what i saw in week 1
DPP: London Beats vs OranBerryBlissey10 - would have bolded L beats here if not for the OBB week 1 performance. Both solid , close one imo
ADV: mitana vs Farce Of The Death

if we avg how old team eu age is , they are prob the oldest aka most experienced. we barely tied with them in W1 lmao.

Team US South (5) vs (3) Team Canada
SV: Kate vs LBN - no shit sherlock
SV: TPP vs King Billu - tough one , TPP played so good w1 and was given a good tesm and billu just 6-0ed his opp. Close !
SV: S-Matrix vs 3d -
SV: PrimalKyogre vs Amukamara - from what i saw in w1 , they both are good.
SS: crying (49.99) vs Fc (50.01) - crying innovation is peak , noone rivals it but im a bit doubtful if it can defeat fc. overall really a must game to watch !
SM: pdt vs Goat Heart ♥- not again please goat , show me the 2018 goat and i dont often see pdt win in usum ubers tbh.
ORAS: The Strap vs Fardin - no words here , everyone knows them
BW: byulharang vs Career Ended
DPP: Stone Cold vs susciety
ADV: Xrn vs Heysup - overpowered player from what i heard about him from my teammates.

Fardin , susciety and career ended are the slots that can turn the tide otherwise its a one sided domination.

CROSS POOL

SV: Joya vs realaccountami? - holy gang power on ami's side but ... ( stay tuned )

Team Brazil (5) vs (5) Team US West - Frito's really in tune with this meta and I can't imagine her losing. MAHOH had it pretty rough facing Stallion, who is definitely one of the better SV players in this meta, but they're still good and will likely take it. Polt almost won last week but made a few interesting plays at the start, and will likely win the week. Thiago Nunes is an overall better player and played well last week. Beraldo is an amazing old gens player and it's no wonder he's slotted here. He's likely taking it pretty easily as long as he doesn't bring WoW.

SV: Skyiew vs Frito
SV: dog mendigoso vs MAHOH

Team France (7) vs (3) Team China - SV will just come down to how prepped is one team for the other. Looking forward to seeing the EV spreads. Metallica126 played SM very unsafe last week, despite winning; and Staxi made that crazy Dugtrio play. I think France should let Staxi cook, and he'll win. Burstbean v Alkione will be really fun to watch, I love Burstbean's DPP sets in other tiers and his plays and Alkione is a good DPP Ubers player. I'm not sure why they didn't slot dragonitenb this week.

SV: Hats vs Raceding
SV: RichardMillePlain vs LouisIX
SV: Beleth vs KanzakiHAria
SV: Shuwri vs July Rain
SS: Inder vs Chaos23333

DPP: Alkione vs burstbean
ADV: Raph369 vs gostop

Team Europe (7) vs (3) Team Benelux - Europe's SV is terrifying and will probably coast through Benelux this time around. Icemaster should have an easy time into Wesleyy both from the performance last week and historical data. London Beats is a good player and I'd normally bold him, but OBB10 played well last week and probably won even without the Dark Void misses.

SV: entrocefalo vs Drud
SV: Terracotta vs Ivar57
SV: Reje vs Michielleus
SV: Nyx vs Quinn
SS: Icemaster vs Wesleyy
SM: Garay oak vs Kipkluif
ORAS: Hack vs Blue YM
BW: Kebabe vs Ninjawarrior7778
DPP: London Beats vs OranBerryBlissey10
ADV: mitana vs Farce Of The Death

Team Latin America (6)
vs (4) Team India - Taka's very competent and will likely make quick work during their game. Edgar is BW. If you've ever seen this man cook, you should be afraid.
SV: Dark Shion vs Taka
SV: DAHLI vs GeniusFromHoenn
SV: Ann vs myjava
SV: Raptor vs skimmythegod
SS: ACR1 vs Floss
USM: Gondra vs Rhmsitb
ORAS: Akaru Kokuyo vs freezai
BW: Edgar vs RaJ.Shoot
DPP: Mashing vs Piyush25
ADV: Fakee vs Yippie

Team US South (5) vs (5) Team Canada -Two teams from Pool 2 that have good changes to make it out of them. SV looks interesting. LBN is probably going to try to catch Kate, who will likely bring something solid off guard. I also believe in PK's abilities and even though Amukamara had a good W1 result, I think it'd be ill-advised to predict against PK. Fc cares about UWC too much to lose this early on. Might see some random Hone Claws Yveltal here, because crying already used the Def Xern last week. I'm not sure who's building SM for Canada or if they're sense-checking it, but the team last week was interesting. Having played both the SM players before multiple times, I think both are great players, but Staxi brought the OP Dugtrio vs pdt, so you can't really count that as a loss. ORAS has one of the funnest matches I think this week, so I just bolded the player who Draco Meteor'd the Arceus Fairy.
SV: Kate vs LBN
SV: TPP vs King Billu
SV: S-Matrix vs 3d
SV: PrimalKyogre vs Amukamara
SS: crying vs Fc
SM: pdt vs Goat Heart ♥
ORAS: The Strap vs Fardin
BW: byulharang vs Career Ended
DPP: Stone Cold vs susciety
ADV: Xrn vs Heysup

Team Spain (3) vs (7) Team Asia - Asia's SV is more than meets the eye and they have a more comfortable builder with better opinions in the current meta. Pilots were not bad, making key mistakes in R1 that their opps could not capitalise on. Meanwhile, Spain had some questionable teams, with the one interesting team not even being built by them. Mimikyu v Dasmer might be the closest match here, despite W1 results. Flatemo's got more experience than Reze in SM. ORAS will probably be an MU check. BW-ADV looks to be better for Spain depending on if they bring competitive teams. Gorex also has a good shot of winning in DPP, since he typically plays DPP for Asia in other tiers. Lhions v Fluore might be tough for Asia, but definitely possible.
SV: seroo vs sapphiree
SV: Joya vs realaccountami?
SV: Ina fable vs Manaphy
SV: Javi vs TMM
SS: Dasmer vs Mimikyu Stardust
SM: Reze vs Flatemo
ORAS: Wamr vs malefic
BW: Eeveeto vs DiannieRatson
DPP: Sheik vs gorex
ADV: Lhions vs Fluore

instead of predictions I decided to give you all 1 highlight from each matchup. I think this is better content than just writing "haha [x] friend is bad at the game!" and also I think it can highlight some players people may not be too familiar with.

Oceania vs US Midwest + East
SV: Trade vs Oreospeedruns

Trade is a very innovative builder- they were my teammate in pre-DLC SV Ubers for I believe Teamballo II and they would consistently find specific holes in the metagame calls that people would make against us. Unfortunately this also meant I'd get 6-0ed on preview by DD Miraidon. Oreospeedruns is my tutee and someone who started out loading HO every game no matter what to someone who annoys Kate on the Ubers discord daily has expanded his horizons to other, more consistent playstyles. Both have had very, very ugly losses in SV teamtours which I'd rather not reference here for quite obvious reasons. I think a lot of it is gonna ride on the builder as they both like to innovate to an extent but also try and make extremely hard calls when it comes to opposing gimmicks. Excited to see how this will play out!

Brazil vs US West
DPP: Luigi vs Inspirited

A lot of you should know Luigi from outside of Ubers; his name was actually plastered over the front page of the replay scouter for his infamous STAG spam game vs CBB. What some of you may not know is that the artist fka Get Backer has consistently shown love for DPP Ubers and has played in both a bunch of tournaments for it (albeit smaller ones iirc like the RoA Spotlight) but also will ask for higher level games both in Ruins of Alph and stours from time to time. Facing him we have Inspirited, a veteran of the tier who has done a lil' bit of everything in his career and is looking to replicate past success in here. Definitely gonna be a very good game despite neither player having the best showings in week 1 (Luigi didn't even play!).

*****************HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK*****************
China vs France
SS: chaos23333 vs Inder

Chinese superstitions claim that the number 3 "三" is very lucky because it sounds like "生" which means "life/to be born". Chaos has been an absolute menace in lower tiers and older gens alike, having partaken in a ton of tournaments while representing his home country of China. If one looks up their replays, they will find very consistent play across the board and respectable teams where the gimmicks are kept to a minimum unlike his manager Louis. Inder on the other hand is at this point a decently decorated Ubers player and his success started with late SS. He does, unfortunately for him, tend to get a tad overconfident with each win and he rides that high for way too long. This sometimes leads to him bringing "comfort" picks which aren't 100% solid defensively and hoping he can outplay the opponent. After a tilting week 1, he is looking to bounce back with a strong showing. Chaos23333 definitely has the HANDS to contest Inder, even if he doesn't have the name value some other pilots have. If Inder loads something solid and uses his timer, he should be able to walk away with this, ever so slightly.

LatAm vs India
SM: Gondra vs Rhmsitb

Some people will think that this is a controversial pick for highlight match between these two particular teams but I think this is gonna be the highest quality matchup and it's my post, damn it! Gondra hasn't built Ubers ever but has always found the win path in SM Ubers thanks to being one of the few pilots who actually vetoes teams that look poop. Rhmsitb often sticks to comfort and his teams have been scoutable in the past BUT he also performs like nobody's business when he's got Gareeb by his side to help him with the mental warfare. Both players have a ton of support behind them so I expect to see some really good plays here, albeit from 2 boring loads.

Canada vs US South
Heysup vs Xrn

This is the matchup of the ages for me. Both players have had tremendous success in ADV in general and (semi-)recently expanded to Ubers and continued their dominant reign. Heysup has always been a preplord who sometimes cooks too hard but has seemingly dialed down the "Medicham x Water Spout Kyogre" loads while Xrn has been one of the more boring yet still respectable builders as far as Ubers is concerned. I was close to not picking the matchup because it's ADV and hax is most catastrophic this gen (or at least that is what the playerbase makes it out to be when they're running Thunder on sun teams).

Spain vs Asia
Ina Fable vs Manaphy

I was lowkey HOPING these two would face this week. Ina Fable was one of the few redeemable factors that Spain had last week in a very messy week 1. She loaded what was probably the most heat SV team we'll see all tournament and won with it (forced heat that ends up failing miserably is disqualified on preview for the purposes of this). Manaphy has similarly been a very "Heaterson" builder, being Dugtrio's strongest soldier from day 1 of SS all the way to pre-DLC SV Ubers. He was kind of gifted a bunch of stuff by the game on week 1 with a bunch of Speed tie wins and his opponent having a Necrozma-DW in a generation without Ultranecrozmium which got thrown out basically turn 1. However, his skill cannot be understated and despite a rough around the edges game he followed a gameplan that put him on a winning spot both early AND lategame. I really wanna see if they're both gonna cook, burn the kitchen down, or just load some Sticky Web mirror and make everyone groan.

the real highlight this week comes from Europe where Hack and Reje will be facing every single other team Europe member that loses a game from the comfort of their armchair. I look forward to checking my phone at work and seeing a fight that would make UFC fighters uneasy.
