You can't say 5:50pm is 5pm, that's just not reasonable.
Also yes I didn't tell you I couldn't play any other day because between the time we scheduled and now I planned to of other things. I'm not keeping my whole weekend open in case of a reschedule.

Also no, I can't play right now since I'm making dinner and after I have personal matters to attend to.

How am I supposed to know that you won't be able to play any other time during the weekend if you don't tell me? Again, I didn't get a notification on my phone and didn't check the time, you only waited untl 5:30, if i showed up at 5:20 you would have gone away either way? I seriously don't get your reasoning
