Monotype Tornadus-T(Flying)

[OVERVIEW]

Flying
========

Tornadus-T is great at forcing progress against defensive and offensive foes alike, as well as gaining momentum for Flying teams due to Regenerator and fantastic utility with Knock Off and U-turn. Its high Special Attack allows it to put a dent in targets like defensive Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Gastrodon. Tornadus-T's Speed allows it to check many threats like Choice Band Galarian Zapdos and Urshifu-R. Unfortunately, Tornadus-T fears Knock Off from the likes of Ferrothorn and Clefable. Tornadus-T also dislikes faster Pokemon that it is unable to threaten, like Tapu Koko and Zeraora, due to its only average bulk and mediocre defensive typing. Additionally, its wallbreaking power is limited to Knock Off and Hurricane, leaving it hopeless against some specially defensive walls.

[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to the combination of Regenerator + U-turn, Tornadus-T is fantastic at forcing damage over long periods of time. Hurricane is its only option strong enough to deal good damage to bulkier Pokemon like Slowbro, Toxapex, and Landorus-T. Knock Off is necessary to cripple Pokemon like Rotom-W, Heatran, and Galarian Slowking, which aren't afraid of Tornadus-T's other moves. Taunt allows Tornadus-T to break through Pokemon with recovery like Slowking and Toxapex a bit more easily. It also shuts down status moves like Heatran's Stealth Rock and Toxic and Ferrothorn's Leech Seed. Alternatively, Toxic can be used to set a timer on Pokemon like Tapu Koko, Tyranitar, and Roost Zapdos. 200 HP EVs prevents Victini from OHKOing Tornadus-T with V-create; Choice Band Victini gets hit by Knock Off before it can OHKO.

Tornadus-T and Landorus-T form a strong, bulky core, with Landorus-T switching into Electric-type attacks from the likes of Tapu Koko and Zeraora for Tornadus-T. It can also set Stealth Rock, allowing Tornadus-T's U-turn and the switches it forces to more easily make progress against the opposing team. Landorus-T also threatens bulky Flying-resistant Pokemon like Heatran and Galarian Slowking, which Tornadus-T might have trouble beating even with Knock Off. Tornadus-T checks dangerous offensive Pokemon like Galarian Zapdos and Urshifu-R in return. Thundurus-T greatly appreciates Tornadus-T crippling checks like Heatran, Galarian Slowking, and Tyranitar with Knock Off. Additionally, Thundurus-T and Landorus-T together form a potent VoltTurn core with Tornadus-T, as well as offering Tornadus-T teams two Electric-immune Pokemon. Corviknight and Celesteela's Steel typing lets them take Ice-type moves, which scare out Tornadus-T. In return, Tornadus-T can remove items from defensive Pokemon that beat them like Slowking. Galarian Moltres greatly appreciates Tornadus-T softening up its checks like Tyranitar and Drapion. In return, Galarian Moltres dismantles Psychic-types like Hatterene and Mew effortlessly. Choice Band Galarian Zapdos is another excellent wallbreaker that appreciates Tornadus-T's utility, especially safe switches from U-turn. Alternatively, Galarian Zapdos can run a Choice Scarf set to beat Pokemon like Choice Scarf Kyurem and Arctozolt in hail, which would otherwise threaten Tornadus-T. Tornadus-T can be prone to losing its item, as Pokemon that Tornadus-T likes to stay in against, like Toxapex and Ferrothorn, run Knock Off. Thus, Tornadus-T appreciates Defoggers like Mantine and Zapdos.

--------
Heat Wave is a powerful coverage option that lets Tornadus-T hit Steel-types like Ferrothorn. Nasty Plot + Knock Off allows Tornadus-T to act as an excellent wallbreaker, as Hurricane switch-ins like Heatran and Galarian Slowking get chipped by Knock Off, letting Tornadus-T clean with Nasty Plot later. Defog can be used, as, even if it loses Heavy-Duty Boots, Tornadus-T's Regenerator allows it to consistently clear entry hazards.

Checks and Counters

Flying
--------
**Faster Wallbreakers**: Pokemon like Tapu Koko and Zeraora can switch into Tornadus-T's Hurricane and threaten it back with a fast, super effective Electric-type attack. Additionally, Swift Swim users like Barraskewda and Kingdra can take advantage of Tornadus-T's average bulk and OHKO it easily.

**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Tornadus-T has trouble breaking through Pokemon like Toxapex and Galarian Slowking without Nasty Plot, even with Knock Off. Both can easily recover their health with Regenerator and tank Tornadus-T's Hurricanes.

**Paralysis**: Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Zapdos can paralyze Tornadus-T with Thunder Wave and Static, respectively. Paralysis cripples Tornadus-T's potent Speed and prevents it from effectively using moves like Knock Off and U-turn.

* Thanks to Regenerator and moves like Knock Off and U-turn, Tornadus-T is great at forcing progress long term for its teammates.
* With its STAB Hurricane and utility in Knock Off and U-turn, Tornadus-T manages to dent or cripple many defensive Pokemon that its teammates may struggle with, such as Tyranitar or Galarian Slowking.
* Its high Special Attack allows it to dent targets like Defensive Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Gastrodon.
* Tornadus-T's speed allows it to check many threats like Choice Band Galarian Zapdos and Urshifu-R.
* However, its reliance on Heavy-Duty Boots for longevity means Tornadus-T fears Knock Off from the likes of Ferrothorn or Clefable.
- i think having knock weakness be torn-t's only weakness is pretty misrepresentative, getting knocked is fine cause you can just regenerate chip anyway
- i would add that its breaking power is limited besides just knocking things, especially against special walls, and that it lacks defensive utility for flying (besides regen ig)

Paragraph 1:
- Thanks to Regenerator and U-turn, Tornadus-T is fantastic at forcing damage in the long term, being able to outlast its opponents nicely.
- Hurricane is Tornadus-T's main source of damage, allowing it to threaten Pokemon like Tapu Bulu or Urshifu-R. Hurricane also deals a good chunk of damage to bulkier Pokemon like Slowbro, Toxapex, or Landorus-T.
- Knock Off is necessary for Tornadus-T to cripple Pokemon like Heatran or Galarian Slowking who aren't afraid of Tornadus-T's other moves, like Toxic or Hurricane.
- Taunt allows Tornadus-T to break through Pokemon with recovery a bit more easily, like Slowking or Toxapex. It also shuts down status moves like Heatran's Stealth Rock and Toxic and Ferrothorn's Leech Seed. Alternatively, Toxic can be used to set a timer on Pokemon like Dragonite, Tyranitar, or Roost Zapdos.
- 200 HP EVs prevents non Choice Band Victini from OHKOing Tornadus-T with V-create; Choice Band Victini gets hit by Knock Off before it can retaliate. (do people ever run band victini? don't think you need to mention it that much)

Paragraph 2:
- Tornadus-T and Landorus-T form quite a strong bulky core, with Landorus-T being able to absorb Electric attacks from the likes of Tapu Koko or Zeraora for Tornadus-T. It can also set Stealth Rock, facilitating Tornadus-T's options for making progress. Tornadus-T checks dangerous Pokemon like Galarian Zapdos or Urshifu-R in return.
- Thundurus-T greatly appreciates Tornadus-T's ability to cripple checks like Heatran, Galarian Slowking, or Tyranitar with Knock Off. Thundurus-T and Landorus-T can also form a potent VoltTurn core with Tornadus-T. (it can also be a secondary elec immune too)
- Celesteela's Steel-typing lets it take Ice-type moves like Kyurem's Freeze Dry or Weavile's Icicle Crash that scare out Tornadus-T. In return, Tornadus-T can remove items from defensive Pokemon that beat Celesteela, like Slowking. (add corv too)
- Galarian Moltres greatly appreciates Tornadus-T softening up its foes that it may have trouble breaking through, like Tyranitar or Drapion. In return, Galarian Moltres takes apart Psychic-types like Hatterene or Mew effortlessly.
- Choice Band Galarian Zapdos is also an excellent breaker that appreciate's Tornadus-T's utility and U-turn bringing it in safely. Alternatively, Galarian Zapdos can run a Choice Scarf set that lets it beat Pokemon like Choice Scarf Kyurem or Arctozolt in Hail that would otherwise threaten Tornadus-T.
- Tornadus-T can be prone to losing its item occasionally, as Pokemon that Tornadus-T would like to take advantage of may run Knock Off to hit it, like Toxapex or Ferrothorn. Thus, Tornadus-T still appreciates Defoggers like Mantine or Zapdos that can remove Stealth Rock from the field.
- If the team already has a Defog user, Zapdos may forgo its bulky set for a Choice Specs set, benefitting from Tornadus-T's Knock Off and U-turn. (this kinda came and went, don't think it's worth mentioning anymore)

* Heat Wave and Psychic are powerful options that give Tornadus-T more coverage; the former lets it hit Pokemon like Ferrothorn, while the latter beats Pokemon like Toxapex or Galarian Weezing without having to risk Hurricane misses.
* Nasty Plot and Knock Off allow Tornadus-T to act as an excellent breaker. Hurricane resists like Heatran or Galarian Slowking get chipped and punished by Knock Off, letting Tornadus-T clean with Nasty Plot later.

**Fast Electric-types**: Pokemon like Tapu Koko and Zeraora do not mind Tornadus-T's stab Hurricane and can threaten it back with a fast, super effective Electric-type attack. (this isn't limited to just faster electric types)
**Bulky Pokemon**: Tornadus-T can have trouble breaking Pokemon like Toxapex or Galarian Slowking without Nasty Plot, even with Knock Off. They can both easily recover their health with Regenerator and can ignore Tornadus-T's Hurricanes due to its lack of investment.
**Faster Wallbreakers**: se coverage can go here, and other stuff like rain

- change the first two sentences to something like this "Tornadus-T is great at forcing progress while gaining momentum for Flying teams due to Regenerator and fantastic utility in Knock Off and U-turn it can force progress and gain momentum off defensive and offensive foes alike." - i feel like that's what your going for, but mention knock off and turn twice randomly in the sentences.

Tornadus-T is great at forcing progress against defensive and offensive foes alike while also gaining momentum for Flying teams due to its combination of Regenerator and fantastic utility in Knock Off and U-turn; it can force progress and gain momentum off of defensive and offensive foes alike. Its high base Special Attack stat allows it to put a dent in targets like Defensive Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Gastrodon. Tornadus-T's Speed allows it to check many threats like Choice Band Galarian Zapdos and Urshifu-R. Unfortunately, Tornadus-T fears Knock Off from the likes of Ferrothorn or and Clefable, though it can still regain its health from Regenerator (doesn't really have anything to do with Knock. I understand the point you are trying to say here with regen gaining more HP than rocks deal, but it isn't practical to mention it). Tornadus-T also dislikes faster Pokemon that it is unable to threaten, like Tapu Koko or Zeraora, due to its only average bulk and meager resistances defensive typing. Additionally, its breaking power is limited to Knock Off and Hurricane, especially against leaving it hopeless against some specially defensive walls.
