Facility The Legend Gauntlet (Calyrex): Doduodrio vs S0L1D G0LD

Match
A match is a composition of multiple games. A match is over when one trainer wins two games.
Both players send in a team of 3 Pokemon.

Game 1:
- The ref flips a coin (or rolls a 1d2, you get the idea) to select who is "T1" and who is "T2"
- T1 strikes one of the five arenas
- T2 strikes two of the remaining four arenas
- T1 strikes one more arena
- The round is played on the remaining arena
- T1 is first sendout

Games 2+:
- The winner of the previous round gets to strike one arena
- The loser of the previous round picks one of the remaining arenas
- The round is played on the selected arena
- The loser of the previous round is first sendout

Game
B3P2 Singles
72h DQ, 1 Warning
Abilities: All
Items: ON
Switch: OK
Megas: 1
Z-Moves: 1
Substitutions: 3
Recoveries: 2 per Pokemon
Chills: 5 per Pokemon
Arena: Variable
Special Rule #1: The game ends when the first KO is scored. The trainer of the KO'd pokemon loses that game.
Special Rule #2: When you send in your team, if a Pokemon has access to more than one form-changing item or attachment: submit one (1) form-changing item or attachment to your ref. The item you submitted to the ref is a secret. During battle, you may not attempt to equip form-changing items or attachments, other than what you submitted to the ref.
Tiebreaker rules:
  • KOing an opponent through a self-KO move or Destiny Bond grants them the win
  • KOing an opponent through a move that results in your Pokémon ENKOing grants you the win
  • KOing an opponent then taking recoil that KOes you too grants you the win
Crown Shrine
This place where Calyrex was once crowned absorbed most of its spiritual energy, letting it seep around the area. If you could somehow tap into this pool of energy, you could unleash the ancient wrath of the king. But… can you?
  • Dark-type Pokémon resist Psychic-type moves instead of being immune
  • Calm Mind boosts Special Attack and Special Defense by two (2) stages, adjusting the natural stage
  • Expanding Force always hits for maximum BAP
Codifications
Camouflage: Grass
Nature Power: Psyshock
Secret Power: Causes sleep
===============================
Statue of the King of Bountiful Harvests
In Freezington, the statue of Calyrex always stood at the center of the village. It was the place of choice for old rituals and village feasts. In truth, Calyrex really never was forgotten, more like… flanderized. The power of belief is still strong in this particular place, and miracles can indeed happen.
  • Berries have one additional use
  • In addition to their own Abilities, Psychic-type Pokémon can select one Ability from a teammate and use it as their own
    • They cannot select a #Trait Ability
    • This is done on first sendout and cannot be changed afterwards, even on later sendouts
    • If the teammate has not yet been revealed, it has to be used in the match
  • Grass-type Pokémon are healed for ¼ of the damage they deal with Grass-type moves
    • Mega Drain, Giga Drain and Horn Leech do not benefit from that effect and instead have their cap doubled if they are used by a Grass-type Pokémon. This can stack with Big Root
Codifications
Camouflage: Grass
Nature Power: Energy Ball
Secret Power: Causes sleep
===============================
Freeze Inn
The inn in Freezington is an anchor for most of its inhabitants. It’s a place to rest, but also a place to battle, notably on the roof, which has a dedicated battle spot for avid Trainers… if you can endure the merciless weather, that is. Do be wary not to disturb the other customers, though!
  • Default weather is Hail
  • Other weathers can only be set with the appropriate weather stone, except for Sandstorm which cannot be set at all
  • Spread moves cannot be used, except if they are also Ice-type moves, whether naturally or through an Ability
Codifications
Camouflage: Ice
Nature Power: Tri Attack
Secret Power: Causes paralysis
===============================
Old Cemetery
This place is said to be roamed by a spirit that will muffle all sounds to preserve the peace and quiet it desires. The mystical atmosphere may seem like it’d be a good idea to take a nap here, but you might find yourself separated from your body afterwards!
  • Sound-based moves have their BAP halved, rounded down
  • Shadow Ball loses its effect, instead gaining a 20% chance to put an opponent to sleep
  • Sleeping Pokémon lose 5 HP and 5 EN per turn asleep
Codifications
Camouflage: Ghost
Nature Power: Shadow Ball
Secret Power: Causes flinching
===============================
Frostpoint Field
The giant frozen fields in the Tundra used to be lush pastures and cornucopian crops. While it now remains little from that golden era, the land does not forget, and it would not take much for it to grow back to its former glory.
  • Using a Fire-type move in this arena while Grassy Terrain is not active summons Grassy Terrain for two (2) rounds
    • This can override any other Terrain
  • While benefiting from Grassy Terrain, a Grass-type Pokémon’s weakness to Fire is calculated to the next level of resistance
Codifications
Camouflage: Ice
Nature Power: Energy Ball
Secret Power: Causes freezing

Doduodrio
:SS/Slowbro:
Slowbro: Sheldon - Male - Stage 3
Types: Water/Psychic
Abilities: Oblivious / Own Tempo / (Unlocked) Regenerator
Profile as a Slowpoke:
Slow and dopey, Sheldon chugs along at his own pace. He has a sturdy body, so if he was attacked, he probably wouldn't even notice. He is often caught staring blankly into space.

Changes Upon Evolving:
One day, Sheldon was sitting at the beach, staring off into space with his usual blank expression when a Shellder flipped out of the water and chomped down hard on his tail, triggering his sudden evolution! Sheldon can now sit up straight, but he still finds it difficult to focus on what's in front of him. His intelligence seems to have increased a little bit, though. Just a bit. Sheldon's body is sturdier than it was as a Slowpoke and can now launch stronger Psychic and Water attacks.

How They Met:
Sheldon's original trainer was one of Doduodrio's friends who traded him in the hopes of evolving him. Unfortunately, before the trade happened, Sheldon managed to lose his King's Rock, and couldn't evolve into Slowking. Because he was a traded Pokemon, Sheldon is one of Doduodrio's strongest team members. His original trainer insists that he doesn't want to trade back for Sheldon, so Doduodrio has been raising him ever since.

Name Origins:
Sheldon has "Shel" in it which references Slowbro's category, the "Hermit Crab" Pokemon.

:SS/Jumbao:
Jumbao: Taro - Female - Stage 3
Types: Grass/Fairy
Abilities: Drought / Trace / (Unlocked) Overcoat
Profile:
Taro likes to dance happily, shaking her hefty limbs and spinning to create a maraca sound that would rival Maractus. The dance can strengthen the sunlight which lets her fire off powerful Solarbeams. Her large size can be a bit difficult when navigating tight spaces, but it also lends her enormous strength, although Taro prefers to use special moves over physical moves. Despite her extreme weakness in Poison-type attacks, she and Node are good friends since they are both very energetic.

How They Met:
On a trip through Alola, Doduodrio met Taro in the lush jungle filled with tropical trees and plants. Being a jungle, it was quite difficult to navigate, so he asked Taro for assistance and they've been friends ever since!

Name Origins:
Jumbao's limbs are visually very similar to the taro root.

Side Note:
Since Taro does not seem to have an obvious mouth to talk with, she communicates through :blobsad: and :bloblul: .

:SS/Rhydon:
Rhydon: Donna - Female - Stage 3
Types: Ground/Rock
Abilities: Lightningrod / Rock Head / (Unlocked) Reckless
Profile:
Donna has fought in countless battles in the past, and her tough hide is extremely difficult to scratch, especially when she holds her precious Eviolite. She is very serious and rarely smiles or cracks jokes when she's around others which is why she and Sam get along so well. Hefty limbs and a powerful horn allow Donna to truly shine in physical combat, but she can't stand up to Water- or Grass-type attacks at all.

How They Met:
Doduodrio accidentally stumbled upon Donna's lair one day while hiking through the mountains and was promptly charged at. Donna chased him down the mountain, but luckily, he caught her before anything else was destroyed. Their relationship could still use a lot of work, though.

Name Origins:
Rhydon. Donna. If you still don't get it, I'm sorry, but I can't help you there.
