Tournament rules:
  • Ubers are banned, this includes Garchomp, Shaymin-S, Latios and Latias
  • The pokemon itself has to have a set in the strategy dex from Smogon.com for DP, hence you can use Porygon2 and Porygon-Z, Gallade and Gardevoir...
  • Shaymin land form is allowed
  • You can only use one Rotom-form during the entire tournament
  • You can only use one Wormadam-form during the entire tournament
  • You can only use one Unown-form during the entire tournament
  • You can only use one Gastrodon-form during the entire tournament
  • You can only use one Spinda-form during the entire tournament
  • You can only use pokemon that you didn’t use in this tournament already.
General rules:
  • Sleep clause
  • Freeze clause
  • Evasion clause
  • OHKO clause
  • Self-KO clause
  • Battle time-out must be on
  • Species clause
  • You aren’t allowed to scout, because you’d know which pokemon the person can’t use anymore.
  • All battles must happen on shoddy-battle
  • Send me the log of your battle
  • When you send me your team, PM it like this:
Name: pokemon a / pokemon b / pokemon c / pokemon d / pokemon e / pokemon f
die eter: Jumpluff / Hitmonchan / Clamperl / Machamp / Smeargle / Jirachi

Come on people, is it that hard to follow this lay-out??? No set-descriptions, just your name in front and with / between the pokemon.
Yes, now I have a great example of what a nitpicker I am:
Sapientia:
1.posts whole team, including movesets,items and ev's DENIED
2.posts pokemon vertically, DENIED
3. posts all pokemon horizontally, but without name DENIED
4. posts name and all pokemon using the correct lay-out ACCEPTED, thanks Sapientia
  • If you fail to follow the rules or you don’t get your match done in time, your name will be put in a pink colour. This doesn’t have any effect. But if you fail to follow the rules again, you will be disqualified.
Matchups:
red: doesn't have an approved team
black: has an approved team
bolded: winner
pink: didn't follow the rules nor has a qualified team
pink: didn't follow the rules but has a qualified team

Okay, all people have to send in their team before the 27th December 9 AM GMT. The deadline is on the 12th January 9 AM GMT. If you don't send in your team (use the right lay-out!) in time, a substitude will cover up! You are allowed to change your team, if you have a good reason. Don't forget to send me your log. EDIT: Yeey, the deadline is extended! Because of the holidays, I understand if some of you didn't get their battle done. Now you have to whole week+weekend to get it done. The new deadline is on the 12th of Januari, again 9 AM GMT.

Predicted wrong Jolt... RB Golbat really isn't going to win anymore in this tournament.
And people start to understand the whole lay-out thing :D But don't worry, I've had enough wrong PM's.

I said clearly (and even Gouki repeated it) that you had to seriously consider if you wanted to join. I also said there wouldn't be any subs. Luckily I have a sub *kugh*Jabba*kugh* but at least give me a good reason why you can't compete! Of course, if you have a good reason, I'll understand. I hope for you that it isn't a life or death matter. There are things that can't be foreseen, and if this is such a case, then sorry. Thanks Venom, I overreacted a bit.

EDIT: his reaction is that he has internet problems. I do appreciate that he rather quits than holding up the tournament. I don't know if this could be foreseen, so I'll leave this one in in the middle.

People have real life issues too, I don't know why you're taking this as a life or death matter.

OK why does it have to have an analysis?

for example, if I wanted to use a team of Uxie, Tyranitar, Scizor, Cleffa, Clefable, and Clefairy, why can't I? That's one of my serious teams and I don't think I should be limited in choice because of it.

I saw your "Charlie's angels" team, Articanus. (and I like it :D)
Itchni has a great example of why I use this rule. I don't want people to "avoid" the most important rule of the tournament (and species clause). Because, there isn't a reason why you would use Cleffa and Clefairy, when you could use three Clefables. This is the case with something like Trapinch or Clamperl, who both have their own analysis. So if you have a team, involving a NFE pokemon that your not using because you allready used the evolution, I'll probably make an exception. But, as long as nobody gives me a good example(= a NFE, that you doesn't have an own analysis but dose have a purpose which his evo doesn't have), the analysis rule stays. I'm sorry if this greatly limits your choices, but that is a part of the tournament.
