Tapu Koko @ Choice Specs
Name: Choice Specs (Electric)
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dazzling Gleam
- Grass Knot
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice] / Thunderbolt

[SET COMMENTS]
Tapu Koko is a dominant force within Electric teams due to its exceptional ability, Electric Surge, which its teammates benefit from. Tapu Koko further boasts a good Speed tier and valuable Fairy-typing, rendering it a menacing threat in its own right. Dazzling Gleam levels the playing field in the Dragon matchup, eliminating foes such as Kommo-o, Roaring Moon, Baxcalibur, and Mega Altaria, but it's also useful against threats like Mega Lopunny and non-Choice Scarf Great Tusk. Grass Knot provides much needed coverage against troublesome Ground-types, most notably taking care of Swampert, Quagsire, Gastrodon, and Mamoswine. Volt Switch pairs wells with Tapu Koko's speed, allowing it to escape unfavorable matchups and bring in teammates like Zapdos against the likes of Mega Venusaur or Mega Scizor. Hidden Power Ice can be used to deal with Ground-types that aren't threatened by Grass Knot such as Garchomp and Landorus-T. Alternatively, Thunderbolt can be run to increase Tapu Koko's damage output, giving it a chance to OHKO foes like Mega Diancie. Rotom-W and Zapdos are excellent partners to Tapu Koko, as they provide a necessary Ground immunity as well as Defog support, which allows Tapu Koko to pivot more freely. Rotom-W further helps by handling Ground-types and spreading burns to strong physical attackers like Mega Garchomp, Iron Valiant, Dragonite, and Mega Swampert in rain, while Zapdos walls and makes use of Heat Wave to deal with Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Iron Treads and Hurricane to counter pesky Grass- and Fighting-types like Tapu Bulu, Mega Venusaur, and Mega Gallade. Alolan Raichu's Surge Surfer fully capitalizes on Electric Terrain, turning it into a serious revenge killer, capable of outspeeding threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill, Mega Aerodactyl, and Iron Valiant under Quark Drive. Iron Hands and Zeraora are prominent partners for Tapu Koko complementing it as Physical breakers, both being able to take care of foes such as defensive Zapdos, Ursaluna and Alolan Muk which hinder Tapu Koko and other Special attackers. Iron Hands has more bulk and longevity, but Zeraora brings near unmatched Speed to the table. Both of them also appreciate Tapu Koko's ability to remove Mega Sableye and Skeledirge and luring in and critically damaging Landorus-Therian with Hidden Power Ice. Regieleki brings raw Electric-type power in the form of a boosted Rising Voltage, which is capable of sweeping teams that don't have an answer to it, and it also provides hazard removal thanks to Rapid Spin. Magnezone provides an immunity to Poison, which Tapu Koko appreciates, and more importantly traps and removes threats such as Mega Scizor and Excadrill with Hidden Power Fire.

Tapu Koko is a dominant force within Electric teams, owing to its exceptional ability, Electric Surge, which sets up Electric Terrain for its teammates to benefit from (Dex Info). Tapu Koko further boasts a good Speed tier and valuable Fairy-typing, rendering it a menacing threat in its own right (Fuse the first two sentences). Dazzling Gleam levels the playing field in the Dragon matchup, eliminating foes such as Kommo-o, Roaring Moon and Mega Altaria, but it's also useful against threats like Mega Lopunny and non-Choice Scarf Great Tusk. Grass Knot provides much needed coverage against troublesome Ground-types, most notably taking care of Mega Swampert, Quagsire, Gastrodon, and Mamoswine. Volt Switch pairs wells with Tapu Koko's speed, allowing it to escape unfavorable matchups and bring in teammates like Zapdos against the likes of Mega-Venusaur or Mega-Scizor. Hidden Power Ice can be used to deal with Ground-types who aren't threatened by Grass Knot, such as Garchomp and Landorus-T. Alternatively, Thunderbolt can be run to increase Tapu Koko's damage output, giving it a chance to OHKO foes like Mega Diancie.

Rotom-W and Zapdos are excellent partners to Tapu Koko as they provide necessary Ground-immunity as well as Defog support, which allows Tapu Koko to pivot more freely. Rotom-W further helps by handling Ground-type and spreading burns to strong physical attackers like Buzzwole, Terrakion, and Diggersby, and Mega Swampert in Rain, while Zapdos alternates between Heat Wave to deal with Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Iron Tread and Hurricane to counter pesky Grass- and Fighting-types like Meowscarada and Mega Gallade (Talk about some other Ground-types like Great Tusk, Mamoswine, and Hippowdon). Alolan Raichu's Surge Surfer fully capitalizes on Electric Terrain, turning it into a serious revenge killer capable of outspeeding threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill, Mega Aerodactyl, and speed-boosted Iron Valiant. Iron Hands also benefits from the Electric Terrain which boosts its Attack, empowering it to 2HKO foes like Amoonguss and Volcarona. Zeraora provides coverage against Normal-, Dark-, and Ghost-types thanks to Close Combat and Knock Off, and it benefits from Electric Terrain bolstering the power of its Plasma Fists to break through walls such as Blissey, Galarian Slowking and Alolan Muk (Iron Hands and Zeraora also appreciate Koko's ability to remove Mega Sableye and Skeledirge and luring in Landorus with HP Ice). Regieleki brings raw, Electric-type power in the form of a boosted Rising Voltage which is capable of sweeping teams that don't have an answer to it, and it also provides hazard removal thanks to Rapid Spin. Magnezone provides an immunity to Poison, which Tapu Koko appreciates.

Heyo, thanks for the QC! I implemented part of it, but I also have some reservations on other parts:
- I know that explaining what E-terrain does seems like dex info, but it's the main reason why Koko is so good on Electric so I think it warrants a sentence there - as a result, I also did not fuse with sentence #2.
- The Ground-types you want me to talk more about have already all been covered at another point in the analysis. If you feel like it's worth mentioning them a second time, I can, but I prefer diversifying the examples.

Since you mention Electric Terrain enabling some of your teammates in the second paragraph, didn't really see the need to mention it again but I'm impartial to it. As for the Ground-types I still think Mega Swampert should be in the Rotom-W section as it's pretty rare to see it outside of Rain, if you don't want to repeat it, you could replace it with another example or outright remove it due to there already being three other Pokemon, typically the standard. Other than that it looks good to me, good job!

Dazzling Gleam levels the playing field in the Dragon matchup, eliminating foes such as Kommo-o, Roaring Moon, Baxcalibur and Mega Altaria, but it's also useful against threats like Mega Lopunny and non-Choice Scarf Great Tusk unironically one of the biggest threats to elec since rotom can't burn it and is setup fodder for it and zap can't wall it. Grass Knot provides much needed coverage against troublesome Ground-types, most notably taking care of Swampert, Quagsire, Gastrodon, and Mamoswine. Rotom-W further helps by handling Ground-types and spreading burns to strong physical attackers like Buzzwole, Terrakion, Diggersby and Mega-Swampert in rain there are probably better examples as all of these except mswamp arent widely used and buzz is only used on bug which in no world is a problem for electric something like (M)Garchomp, physical valiant, and dnite are better egs, while Zapdos walls and alternates between makes use of Heat Wave to deal with Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Iron Treads and Hurricane to counter pesky Grass- and Fighting-types like Meowscarada Tapu Bulu, Mega Venusaur and Mega Gallade harder things for elec to break than meow tbh but keeping it alon with the others is ok too. Alolan Raichu's Surge Surfer fully capitalizes on Electric Terrain, turning it into a serious revenge killer capable of outspeeding threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill, Mega Aerodactyl, and speed-boosted Iron Valiant under Quark Drive.
