[OVERVIEW]

* Sylveon's solid natural bulk as well as access to absurd damage from Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice makes it a solid setup sweeper. With its pure Fairy typing, Sylveon boasts a better matchup into Ghost- and Dark-type threats such as Flutter Mane and Urshifu-S than its main Fairy-type competition, Flutter Mane.

* Sylveon appreciates support from Fake Out and Follow Me, allowing it to set up Throat Spray or Calm Mind more easily. Incineroar makes up for Sylveons middling physical bulk with Parting Shot and Intimidate, as well as handling the Steel- and Fire-types that Sylveon struggles against. Ogerpon-W not only provides Follow Me support but similarly to Incineroar is able to handle Steel- and Fire-type attacks safely. Landorus is a great offensive partner, with it and Sylveon covering each other's checks, as well as making up for Sylveon's low initial damage output.

* Sylveon's biggest issue is that it struggles to find a slot on most teams due to its competition with Flutter Mane, which is more of an immediate threat thanks to its higher single target damage, higher Speed, and Fake Out immunity from its Ghost typing. While Sylveon has use cases thanks to its bulk and pure Fairy typing, Flutter Mane is easier to fit into most compositions and is able to function well with minimal support. Sylveon's middling Speed means it is vulnerable to being overwhelmed by foes, making utilizing its strong setup options difficult.

[SET COMMENTS]

* Hyper Voice allows Sylveon to utilize Throat Spray as well as being a strong spread move after the boost from Pixilate. Misty Terrain allows Sylveon to block Spore from Amoonguss, while Calm Mind is also viable as another way to further increase Sylveon‘s damage output. Quick Attack picks off Urshifu-S and Chien-Pao, which normally run Focus Sash. If Sylveon is running Tera Fire, Tera Blast is also an option to hit Fairy-resistant foes such as Amoonguss and Gholdengo, as well as being a strong single target Fairy-type move before Terastallization thanks to Pixilate.

* The invested Defense allows Sylveon to survive Wood Hammer from Rillaboom, as well as Ivy Cudgel from a Terastallized Ogerpon-W. Sylveon is also able to survive a Metal Coat-boosted Make It Rain from Gholdengo. Enough Speed is invested for Sylveon to outspeed Chi-Yu when under Tailwind, with the rest dumped into Special Attack.

* Both Tera Fire and Water allow Sylveon to check problematic Steel- and Fire-types such as Gholdengo, Incineroar and Assault Vest Kingambit, though Tera Water is generally preferred thanks to having fewer weaknesses to common offensive threats. Tera Fire has valuable resistances to Fairy- and Grass-type moves on top of the coverage with Tera Blast; however, it makes Sylveon weak to more metagame threats, such as Landorus and Ogerpon-W.

yapping (Good work, the yellow isnt bad I promise.)

[OVERVIEW]

* Sylveons solid natural bulk as well as access to absurd damage from Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice, make it a solid setup sweeper and alternative for a Fairy-type slot. Throat Spray allows Sylveon to play as a slower paced set up sweeper, with with a great defensive typing and a respectable defensive bulk facilitating this. (This should probably be in set comments item point, use this sentence to talk about Sylveon's good matchups.)

* Sylveon appreciates support from Fake Out and Follow Me, allowing it to set up Throat Spray or Calm Mind easier, as well as allowing it room to maneuver. Rillaboom and Incineroar are a great supportive duo, with Incineroar's Parting Shot and Intimidate making up for Sylveons middling physical bulk, and Rillabooms absurd damage applying pressure onto opponents and redirecting attention from Sylveon. (I don't like Rillaboom here, everything that resists Fairy also resists Grass. better to mention smth like Landorus' offensive synergy, especially since it was the Pokemon on the day 2 Utrecht teams.) Ogerpon-W not only provides Follow Me support, but also handles opposing Fire- and Steel-types that give Sylveon trouble.

* Sylveon's biggest issue is in fact of no fault of its own, instead being the competition is faces in the Fairy-type slot from Flutter Mane. Flutter Mane has far higher single-target damage, as well as several other perks in a Fake Out immunity and a great speed tier, to name a few. While Sylveon has its use cases as a more consistent answer to Urshifu-S and as a bulky sweeper, its much more niche and requires more support. It also trades out a better defensive spread for Speed, making it difficult to properly utilize its strong offenses and needing strong positioning to make full use of Sylveon. (This is fine but I do think its pretty easy to cut and shorten it a bit, since the information you are getting through is 'Sylveon struggles to find a place on teams thanks to its faster Ghost-type competition; Flutter Mane'. and writing more than any other paragraph seems a bit much.)

(Add a paragraph about Sylveon counters/checks here.)

* Hyper Voice allows Sylveon to utilize Throat Spray, as well as being a strong spread move after a boost from Pixilate. Misty Terrain allows Sylveon to nullify Spore from Amoonguss, an otherwise extremely difficult match up. Calm Mind is also viable to further buff Sylveon, however needs careful positioning to properly take advantage of the boosts. Quick Attack picks off Urshifu-S and Chien-Pao, which normally run Focus Sash, however, if Sylveon is running Tera Fire, Tera Blast is also an option to hit Steel-resists like opposing Amoonguss and Gholdengo. (Mainly removing what you should have already said in the overview.)

* The invested physical Defense allows Sylveon to survive Wood Hammer from Rillaboom, as well as Ivy Cudgel from a Terastallized Ogerpon-W. On the Special side, Sylveon is able to survive a Make it Rain from a Metal Coat-boosted Gholdengo. Enough Speed is invested to outspeed Chi-Yu when in Tailwind, with the rest dumped into Special Attack.

* Both Tera Fire and Water resist problematic Steel- and Fire-types, however, Tera Water is generally preferred for being a better defensive type into the current metagame, however, Tera Fire can be used when in conjunction with Tera Blast. (You already mentioned this, recommend expanding on crucial resistances Water and Fire provide individually.)

[OVERVIEW]

* Sylveon's solid natural bulk as well as access to absurd spread damage from Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice, make it a solid set up sweeper and alternative Fairy-type. With its pure Fairy-typing, Sylveon boasts a better match up into the Ghost- and Dark-type threats such as Urshifu-S and opposing Flutter Mane that its Fairy-type competitors than (typo) the most used Fairy-type Pokemon Flutter Mane (fairy types mu pretty well into these threats - its pretty obvious you are referring to flutter mane so I'd just say it).

* Sylveon appreciates support from Fake Out and Follow Me, allowing it to set up Throat Spray or Calm Mind easier, as well as allowing it room to maneuver. Incineroar's Parting Shot and Intimidate makes up for Sylveons middling physical bulk, as well as handling the Steel- and Fire-types that Sylveon struggles against. Ogerpon-W not only provides Follow Me support, but similar to Incineroar is able to redirect Steel- and Fire-type attacks safely. Landorus is a great offensive partner, with it and Sylveons Ground- and Fairy-type coverage STAB attacks covering for each others resisted typings, as well as make up for Sylveon's low starting damage.

* Sylveon's biggest issue is infact of no fault of its own, instead being that it struggles to find a slot on most teams thanks to its competition in Flutter Mane. Not only is Flutter Mane faster, but also more of an immediate threat thanks to a higher single target damage and Fake Out immunity from its Ghost-typing. While Sylveon has its use cases, Flutter Mane is easier to fit into most compositions and is able to function well with minimal support. While Sylveon has great damage once it gets set up, its often difficult to get into a position to fully use its boosts as its Speed is middling at best, and while its bulk is solid, it falls short on the physical side. Fairy-type resists such as Gholdengo, Amoonguss, and Landorus that have Terastallized into Poison are also extremely difficult to break through. (I would maybe try to restructure this paragraph, it hits all the right points on Sylveon's weaknesses but says them in the wrong order imo. Sylveon's biggest weakness is its Speed - it is almost always the slowest thing on the field and hence it can often face a lot of offensive pressure. Because of this Sylveon NEEDS support (redirection intimidate etc.). Then say Sylveon's biggest competitor Flutter Mane is one of the fastest Pokemon in the format - much easier to position. Then say Sylveon's other weakness is it's lack of coverage (tera blast lol). Then say one of Flutter Mane's strengths is it's great coverage - STAB ghost, icy wind, power gem, energy ball etc. I think structuring it like this is much easier to understand what Sylveon's weaknesses are, and why Flutter Mane is better).

[OVERVIEW]

* Sylveon's solid natural bulk as well as access to absurd damage from Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice, make it a solid set up sweeper and alternative Fairy-type (to whom exactly? "to flutter mane" could be added but you could honestly just get rid of this.) . With its pure Fairy-typing, Sylveon boasts a better match up into the Ghost- and Dark-type threats such as Urshifu-S and opposing Flutter Mane Flutter Mane and Urshifu-S respectively that than its main Fairy-type competitors competition, Flutter Mane (It may not be apparent to newer players just how dominant flutter is as a fairy type to the point where sylveon's only competition is with it. you mention this later as well. Also mention that sylveon can fit on trick room/tailroom, I feel this is a huge draw of sylveon).

* Sylveon appreciates support from Fake Out and Follow Me, allowing it to set up Throat Spray or Calm Mind easier, as well as allowing it room to maneuver (just cutting fluff). Incineroar's Parting Shot and Intimidate makes up for Sylveons middling physical bulk with Parting Shot and Intimidate, as well as handling the Steel- and Fire-types that Sylveon struggles against. Ogerpon-W not only provides Follow Me support, but similar to Incineroar is able to redirect Steel- and Fire-type attacks safely. Landorus is a great offensive partner, with it and Sylveons Ground- and Fairy-type coverage covering for each others resisted typings (could be said as "resistances" or even in a different way, idk seems to repeat dex info), as well as make up for Sylveon's low starting damage. (Speed control should be a mention, sylveon doesn't have much of a place over flutter mane on non tr teams. Farigiraf to prevent physical priority is the biggest mention.)

* Sylveon's biggest issue is infact of no fault of its own, instead being that it struggles to find a slot on most teams thanks to its competition in Flutter Mane as it is. Not only is Flutter Mane faster, but also (on the topic of sylveon being a mon that fits with tr so the speed is actually an advantage) more of an immediate threat thanks to a higher single target damage and boasts a Fake Out immunity from its Ghost-typing. While Sylveon has its use cases (like? I guess the pure fairy typing helps here) , Flutter Mane is easier to fit into most compositions and is able to function well with minimal support. While Sylveon has great damage once it gets set up, its often difficult to get into a position to fully use its boosts as its Speed is middling at best, and while its bulk is solid, it falls short on the physical side (I feel like this should swap places with the first sentence and then "In fact, Sylveon's biggest issue...") . Fairy-type resists such as Gholdengo, Amoonguss, and Landorus that have Terastallized into Poison are also extremely difficult to break through. (Dex info, kinda obvious. You could also say that for example, Dengo and Lando threaten an OHKO and that amoonguss can threaten spore. Also strong physical attackers should be given a mention. Rillaboom is a notable example with AV as well.)
