SV UU Post-Home Viability List

Welcome to the Post-Home Viability List of Scarlet and Violet UU! The metagame is still very new and has lots of room to be explored in the coming weeks as UUWC pools begin in conjunction with more time passing since the drops, but like last time the VR council felt that it was appropriate to put up a viability list at this time to show what Pokemon from both the pre-Home metagame and the new drops are viable. This time, the list is simply being separated into just the Pre-Home Pokemon that have remained viable and the new drops that are viable. We were very inclusive with this list as to not immediately dismiss many Pokémon from the pre-Home metagame as unviable when new experimentation may prove otherwise. The Viability List is down below! Hello VR enthusiasts, the VR team has some news for you. The voting for the formal VR will happen in about a week, so it’s not much longer until the formal VR is up and you can see exactly what rank each Pokémon falls into. Since the Viability List contains all the Pokémon that will be voted on, we figured we’d clean it up a bit after shifts and many UUWC games. Cresselia, Greninja, Meowscarada, and Moltres all are removed due to rising to OU, while Iron Treads and Volcanion are added to the new drops section as new additions to the tier. Moreover, the following Pokémon have been removed from the Viability List as they’ve failed to make themselves stand out to where they won’t be bothered to vote on: Paldean Tauros-Blaze, Hariyama, Altaria, Dragalge, Salazzle, Kilowattrel, Orthworm, Tatsugiri, and Iron Thorns.
