Welcome to the third viability list of our generation, the DLC 1 viability list! With the meta still being very new, these are preliminary rankings where the VR team ranks all the viable Pokemon in the meta into 4 ranks of High, Good, Decent, and Low to reflect their standing in the current metagame. This list was designed to be quite inclusive with the Pokémon featured on it. We are hoping that an actual VR will be made sometime in November when the tier settles down from the upcoming shifts. Note that Pelipper is ranked above the Pokémon reliant on rain for their viability to reflect that no Pokémon has yet to establish themselves as a staple on rain, meaning they shouldn’t be ranked alongside Pelipper since Pelipper largely reflects rain’s viability as a whole with it being the staple of the archetype.
