Man. The feelings I have about this update are so comparable to the feelings I had when Steve Irwin died (no offense); Even after seeing it a billion times, I still can't believe it.

Awesome update today. Nintendo is really out doing themselves with this game and I'm loving it! I would really like to know if L-cancels are coming back though. Wavedashing I don't care about as much even though I do it very often but L-canceling is a must to me. Not like I won't play the game if it doesn't have it though. GOOD STUFF!
From the looks of it, Sonic is SSBM Fox+. Very fast, but likely very difficult to control with any precision. He also likely won't have projectiles and if anything beats out his hit priority he could be stopped fairly easily.

Heh, after the rushed effort to get Melee in I'm willing to wait for Brawl.
I mean, holding the release date for 2 months, 3 months, etc. etc. for a game I'm potentially going to be playing for several years? Hell, people still play Smash Bros original. Hell, I still play Super Mario World.
Then again, I've been waiting for several years for the next Nethack release, so I guess I'm just used to waiting for games.
Not to mention, with all these demos out we know that the game isn't vapor ware (*cough* Starcraft Ghost *cough*)

No, CF was fast but pretty easy to control because he had decent melee range, his falling speed was managable and even the Knee was easy to time, whereas Fox falls like a brick and most of his attacks require extremely close range. Note that even among the best players, Infinite shine was mostly plausible, not possible.
