Gen 3 super nice uu

in honor of spies' demise here is my uu team that i just rebuilt.

Hitmonlee (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Double-Edge
- Hi Jump Kick
- Hidden Power [Ghost]
- Mach Punch

scares off omastars and kangaskhans in the lead position
and even glalies
the best choice for a lead on an offensive team? maybe.
double-edge wrecks gligar, hypno, vileplume, muk, etc. 2hkos all of them i think.
hp ghost kills misdreavus and even banettes. mach punch provides some defense against salac/petaya/liechi sweepers.

Sharpedo (M) @ Salac Berry
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 Def / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Crunch
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Endure

a force to be reckoned with. really pulls a lot of weight when it comes to switching in on psychic mons. probably the only slot that i would consider changing, but it is actually quite a useful dude. rain dance omastar shits itself when the salac berry kicks in. it also provides extra backup against endure/reversal dudes and whatnot.

Quagsire (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Atk / 168 Def
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Rest

actually gets to sweep on this team somehow, and makes for a solid defense against a number of threats. scares off gligar at least once which is all that is necessary. needs to be here for tentacruels.

Grumpig (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 20 Spd / 140 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

takes some status when necessary. general special wall. fends off fire types/sunnyplume.

Nidoking (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Poison Point
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Megahorn

one of the best pokemon in the tier. cleans up really well. and he looks good in a suit. with quagsire he beats up electric types besides certain pikachus/raichus and electabuzz (see: manectric).

Solrock @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Atk / 120 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Reflect
- Rock Slide

usually doesn't actually stick around very long. switches into returns/drill pecks and reflects and then he is almost always fit to burst right away. hopefully it will kill any quagsires around.

rule #1 my EVs rule.
the team is kind of a little weak to cursing quagsires but who isn't?
besides that the defense is kinda frail but incredibly flexible and usually the offense executes so quickly that the defense doesn't matter too much.
i love aduvu.

threat list:
hitmonlee
sharpedo
grumpig
quagsire
nidoking
solrock
