For Steel/Flying, zxgzxg wins with Fluormingo!
Pokemon: Fluormingo [fluorescent + flamingo]
Type: Steel / Flying
Ability: Drought
Stats: 72 / 115 / 80 / 50 / 120 / 58
Moves:
Physical:
Brave Bird, Dual Wingbeat, Fire Punch, Flare Blitz, Gyro Ball, Iron Head, U-turn, Wild ChargeSpecial: Air Slash, Fire Blast, Flash Cannon, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Hurricane, Thunderbolt, Weather BallStatus: Defog, Roost, Shift Gear, Swords Dance, Will-O-WispDescription: Sun Setter, Mixed Wall, and Setup Sweeper. Drought is an interesting ability for Steel/Flying types. While it does magnify its Fire-type weakness (which justifies me putting more bulk eheheh), its many resistances (notably to Ground, Flying, and Poison) help it support the Fire- and Grass-types it will presumably support. It basically has all of defensive Corviknight's tools along with Will-O-Wisp, which helps patch its mediocre physical bulk. Additionally, Shift Gear helps this Pokemon sweep despite its low base speed, Drought also helping boost its Fire coverage, which lets it hit Steel-types better. Although it is incompatible with other weather archetypes where it would like to be, like Rain and Sand, its solid typing, bulk, and versatility lets it be a solid pick in and out of weather.
For Water/Fairy, Rasdanation wins with Fuscicea!
Bascudash2.png(Note: Will not be this exact sprite, but Fuscicea's sprite will have a similar design to my Bascudash sprite)
Name: Fuscicea (Fu Manchu + Piscine + Panacea)
Ability: Natural Cure / Adaptability [HA]
Typing:

Stats: 65/80/75/95/90/105 [510 BST]
Weight: 16.0 kg
Relevant Moves:
: Aqua Tail, Flip Turn, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Liquidation, Play Rough, Stone Edge, Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt
: Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Ice Beam, Moonblast, Psychic, Scald, Surf
: Calm Mind, Heal Bell, Swords Dance
Flavor Moves: Universal TMs, Aqua Ring, Chip Away, Dazzling Gleam, Dive, Double Hit, Headbutt, Healing Wish, Last Resort, Life Dew, Purify, Quick Attack, Rain Dance, Scale Shot, Splash, Swift, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Water Sport, Waterfall, Whirlpool
Description: Fuscicea is based on the Fu Manchu Lionfish, whose scales and mustache, instead being incredibly poisonous, is said to be able to cure various ailments. This handsome mustache fish is designed around being a mixed set up wallbreaker, who can alter between two main playstyles. Its physical sets are more offensively oriented, running Swords Dance alongside Adaptability-boosted Liquidation/Aqua Tail/Aqua Jet, Play Rough, alongside one other coverage move. Meanwhile, its special sets are a bit more defensively oriented, opting to boost its special defense as well. This is complimented by its overall higher special-attacking stat and its decent special defense.
And for Normal/Dark, JosJet wins with Slashowa!
California-Kingsnake2.jpg
IMG_5859.png
IMG_5860.png

Pokémon: Slashowa (Slash + Show + Boa)
Abilities: Soundproof / Technician / Punk Rock
Typing:

Base Stats: 70 HP / 55 Atk / 70 Def / 115 SpA / 65 SpD / 115 Spe
Moves:
Knock Off, Double Edge, Close Combat, Gunk Shot, U-turn
Hyper Voice, Fiery Wrath, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat
Calm Mind, Parting Shot, Taunt, Substitute, Glare, Toxic, Heal Bell
Bite, Crunch, Tackle, Wrap, Lick, Iron Tail, Lash Out, Night Slash
Snore, Round, Uproar, Swift, Grass Knot
Tail Whip, Coil, Switcheroo, Attract, Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk, Perish Song, Swagger, Encore, Rest, Sleep Talk, Safeguard, Fake Tears, Focus Energy, Scary Face, Work Up
Intended roles: Special Wallbreaker / Special Setup Sweeper / Choice Specs
Description: Slashowa would work as a fast special wallbreaker and setup sweeper. It could potentially set up with Calm Mind, or use Choice Specs to add on to its wall breaking potential. With Punk Rock, Hyper Voice become a much better move without drawbacks other than the fact that it doesn’t have a very good offensive typing. It also gets access to Fiery Wrath which would essentially just work as a slightly stronger Dark Pulse. While Slashowa only has an decent special attacking stat, its abilities and movepool options help make it a stronger wallbreaker.

Slashowa is based on Slash (Saul Hudson) who is the lead guitarist of the band Guns N’ Roses! Slash is also known for loving reptiles and has been keeping snakes since the age of 11, so that's what Slashowa’s design would be based on. I chose to go down this route to sort of continue the theme behind Obstagoon (as Obstagoon has a very similar appearance to Gene Simmons from Kiss). Obstagoon and Slashowa would be rivals in the Pokémon world.
Discussion phase will open for 24 hours.

haven't been watching this thread too closely as of late but thoughts time regardless, as usual don't take any of this for fact

Fluormingo: Hey a Steel/Flying capable of running defensive sets won, that's reassuring. I haven't looked at the other subs but have heard that a lot of them are only offensive. This also opens up the chance for weather archetypes to actually be usable since Drizzle Nimbustorm is lol and I think this 'mon will be good regardless of whether or not it wants to support weather teams. I really love the use of Drought here, I'd take exacerbating a weakness to a good type over adding a resistance to a bad one any day of the week and this likely won't inhibit its defensive use because of just how good Steel/Flying is. I know it makes you resistant to Water, ultimately not as big a deal here. Offensive sets are possible but likely not broken as well, especially down the line when we get more varied bulky Waters. Really cool sub, I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

Fuscicea: Frail but crazy breaker. It may not seem like much but this thing has nearly unresisted STABs for the current meta, and its Water STABs are especially dangerous right now since we have zero bulky Grasses and only one defensive Water. With Adaptability and Specs, it 2HKOs basically everything in the metagame with one of its STAB options, which makes it especially scary that just about nothing resists it. If you don't resist the move it clicks, you're getting 2HKOd, plain and simple. The one exception is Fluormingo, who walls this by virtue of Drought and doesn't really care about any of its coverage. Super fragile and not the fastest so it'll be difficult to properly use, but it's the kind of Pokemon you'll always need to stay alert with. Also haven't even mentioned that it can run Scarf too if it feels like it, which might be just as or more scary.

Slashowa: With Fluxtape, Resonake, and now Slashowa, we're really gearing up to have a bunch of music Pokemon, huh? Anyways, seems really similar to Fuscicea, this seems very threatening. We still do have a few prominent Normal resists, so Hyper Voice isn't the most spammable move out there, and there might be a lot more merit to running sets that let you switch moves despite Dark having good neutral coverage and Hyper Voice being extremely strong. At +1 from CM or Specs, this Pokemon has no switch ins, and that should make it pretty apparent that its Scarf sets will be pretty self-sufficient. The one thing that avoids a 2HKO is Sp. Def Nympheral and I shouldn't have to explain why that set is bad. I'm not going to scream broken just yet because it's fragile, not the fastest, and might be reliant on prediction or something, but this really does not look fun to deal with. EDIT: just noticed resonake has soundproof, yeah that might beat this actually

Pokemon: Golch (Mulch + Golem)
Type: Grass/Ground
Abilities: Chlorophyll / Iron Fist (H: Rock Head)
Stats: 100 / 120 / 90 / 69 / 69 / 56 (BST: 504)
Movepool: Double-Edge, Explosion, Growth, Aromatherapy, Solar Blade, Synthesis, Wood Hammer, Body Press, Drain Punch, Power-Up Punch, Earthquake, Head Smash, Rock Slide, Stealth Rock, Zen Headbutt
Useless Moves: Facade, Protect, Substitute (no Universal TMs), Block, Focus Energy, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Headbutt, Lock-On, Mega Punch, Safeguard, Secret Power, Self-Destruct, Slam, Stomp, Strength, Supersonic, Sweet Scent, Terrain Pulse, Thrash, Absorb, Energy Ball, Forest's Curse, Giga Drain, Grassy Glide, Grassy Terrain, Ingrain, Mega Drain, Seed Bomb, Solar Beam, Arm Thrust, Circle Throw, Cross Chop, Dynamic Punch, Focus Punch, Hammer Arm, Rock Smash, Bulldoze, Earth Power, Magnitude, Rototiller, Rollout, Sandstorm, Smack Down
Description: A golem that is made of tree mulch and dirt mixed up and enchanted to come to life. This mon makes use of rock head head smash, double-edge and stab wood hammer. This may seem to strong but it is way to slow and only outspeeds Cetaidon, Drakotomy, & Coreept with everything being neutral. This mon can also be a neat partner for the new sun setter we just got with Chlorophyll allowing it to outspeed most pokemon. Also Iron Fist is a unique option but is just bad compared to Rock Head.

Pokemon: Mahcidem (Medicham's name backwards)
Type: Fighting/Psychic

Now with sprites!

1625882220444.png

Name: Gorilax
Ability: Aroma Veil / --- / Sniper
Typing: Psychic/Fighting
Stats
: 116/61/101/83/117/122 (600)
Weight: monkey
Relevant Moves: All universal TMs, Shore Up, Toxic, Wish, Lunge, Night Shade, Psychic, Psyshock, Aura Sphere
Full Movepool:
Drain Punch, Hammer Arm, Ice Fang, Ice Hammer, Lunge, Power Whip, Rock Slide, Sky Uppercut, Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt, Aura Sphere, Blue Flare, Earth Power, Night Shade, Psychic, Psyshock, Sludge Bomb, Morning Sun, Shore Up, Wish, Double Slap, Rock Climb, Skull Bash, Smelling Salts, Spark, Steamroller, Tackle, Triple Kick, Wing Attack, Fire Pledge, Flame Burst, Leaf Tornado, Ominous Wind, Amnesia, Gastro Acid, Magic Room, Mean Look, Power Split, Quick Guard, Spotlight, all universal TMs
Description: Ripped straight from Roulettemons, here's Gorilax. This is basically the definition of a stat stick - it has a pretty shallow list of relevant moves, it's horribly passive, and its typing isn't helpful for its role, but my god is it bulky. What this Pokemon does sums up to spreading Toxic and passing Wish, while it also can use Shore Up to give itself instant healing. It was really fun to use in Roulettemons, even if very exploitable, since while it has Aroma Veil for Taunt, it has nothing to get around setup aside from sometimes Lunge and it really hates Toxic.

1625882230208.png

Name: Cholleap
Ability: Iron Barbs / --- / Sticky Hold
Typing: Grass/Ground

Flavor Moves: will do later
Description: Based on the jumping cactus. Fast specially defensive subseed user. Helps it beat things like Nympheral convincingly while blanket checking a lot of other special attackers. Struggles with Skappa and physical attackers in general, although it has a few ways of annoying the latter.

Name: Hallucidrake (Hallucinate + Mandrake)
Ability: Soundproof / Aroma Veil / Illusion [HA]
Typing:

Stats: 81/49/64/100/169/81 [544 BST]
Weight: 9.0 kg
Relevant Moves:
: Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Extrasensory, Giga Drain, Hyper Voice, Petal Dance, Shadow Ball, Sludge Wave

Description: Hallucidrake is a literal mandrake that has come to life. It exudes a hallucinogenic gas that makes others vulnerable to its attacks, some attacks being purely created through opponent's hallucinations. When threatened, it is often found giving a deafening scream. On a more competitive note, Hallucidrake is a dedicated Special Wall who has a good variety in playstyles. It can play utility with access to spikes/tspikes and aromatherapy, as well as play offensively with its decent attacking options, or even try and stall with leech seed/poison via tspikes.

Name: Hoarfrolisk (Hoarfrost + Basilisk)
Ability: Heatproof / Snow Warning / Refrigerate [HA]
Typing:

Stats: 94/105/113/115/68/30 [525 BST]
Weight: 357.3 kg
Relevant Moves:

Flavor Moves: Universal TMs, Ancient Power, Avalanche, Bind, Bite, Breaking Swipe, Crunch, Dragon Breath, Dragon Tail, Frost Breath, Glaciate, Hail, Ice Fang, Icicle Crash, Icy Wind, Poison Fang, Powder Snow, Sheer Cold, Terrain Pulse, Weather Ball
Description: A massive, eight-legged dragon who consumes all heat around it to prevent itself from freezing, Hoarfrolisk is a physical wall who can act both offensively and as a hail setter. Coil and Dragon Dance give it options to set up, its gets hazing utility, it also can hit hard immediately with its strong special options, or could set hail and pivot to allies with access to Flip Turn. Overall, Hoarfrolisk is a rather versatile physical wall.

Name: Conjuroo (Conjure + Kangaroo)
Ability: Psychic Surge / No Guard [HA]
Typing:

Stats: 86/95/64/78/125/82 [530 BST]
Weight: 98.6 kg
Relevant Moves:
: Attack Order, Close Combat, Head Smash, High Jump Kick, Mega Kick, Play Rough, U-Turn, Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt
: Expanding Force, Focus Blast, Future Sight, Moonblast, Power Gem, Psychic
: Agility, Bulk Up, Light Screen, Reflect, Stealth Rock, Trick Room
Flavor Moves: Universal TMs, Body Press, Coaching, Double Kick, Electric Terrain, Electroweb, Flying Press, Grassy Terrain, Heal Pulse, Imprison, Infestation, Jump Kick, Low Kick, Magic Room, Mat Block, Misty Terrain, Psychic Terrain, Rolling Kick, Sky Uppercut, Swift, Triple Kick, Wonder Room
Description: Conjuroo is a magical Kangaroo who has the ability to conjure many magical objects, such as terrains, rooms, and more. It utilizes these magical abilities to assist it in performing rather aggressive physical combat. Conjuroo serves as a Special Wall capable dishing out respectable physical damage utilizing its No Guard ability. However, Conjuroo is also a great utility-focused pivot, being able set Psychic Terrain, Trick Room, Reflect and Light Screen, and pivot it to an ally with U-Turn.

:medicham: (Sprite should have the number 9 involved. One arm be real, the other be ethereal)
Pokémon: Mentabox (Mental + Box [boxing])
Abilities: Telepathy / Inner Focus | HA: Trace
Typing:

Base Stats: 70 HP / 124 Atk / 90 Def / 126 SpA / 89 SpD / 81 Spe
Moves:

Knock Off, Double Edge, Close Combat, Superpower, Gunk Shot, Sucker Punch, Elemental Punches

Psychic, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Ice Beam, Volt Switch, Dragon Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Thunderbolt, Expanding Force

Calm Mind, Swords Dance, Trick, Taunt, Thunder Wave, Defog, Recover, Encore, Trick Room

AUM

Intended roles: Mixed Breaker, Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Control
Description: Inspired heavily by both Aquatic trying to make a mixed breaker for FEUU and Alba forging the concept of a mon that is forced to pick a STAB but cannot viably run both, I decided to merge both concepts together with the best typing to utilize, Psychic/Fighting. Here we have Mentabox, a Fighting type that cannot break Steels if Special, and a Psychic type that cannot break Poison types if physical, forcing it to require going mixed or to forfeit their matchup. This is pretty cool as a slowish, but powerful breaker.

Hydrice (Hydra, Ice)
Dragon Ice
Ability:
Ice Face
Stats: 80/70/70/90/120/60 (490)

Notable Moves: Blizzard, Substitute, Ice beam, Hail, Dragon pulse, Tri attack, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Focus blast, Weather Ball, Dragon dance, Calm Mind, Work Up, Charge Beam.
Description: Hydrice is well, an ice hydra. It gets ice face because its other two heads are made of ice. On the first turn, you can do whatever you want. If its special tank and maybe attack or set up. physic you can sub or hail so get a bit of protection.

Ruslam (Ruse, Slam)
Psychic Fighting
Ability: Long reach / No Guard
Stats: 90/125/50/85/95/110
Notable Moves: Bulk Up, High Jump Kick, Dynamic Punch, Close Combat, Psyshock, Psychic, Zen Headbutt, Calm Mind, Shadow ball, Play rough, Dazzling gleam, Thunderbolt.
Description: Ruslam is basically a creature with no arms but it uses its psychic power to make the opponent feel like they are getting hit. It is a physical attacker with mixed potential and good coverage in the special department.

Pokemon: Terrabull (It's as on the nose as you'd think)
Type: Grass/Ground
Abilities: Intimidate/Sheer Force (Magic Guard)
Stats: 103/99/115/85/60/82 (546)
Movepool: Double-Edge, Growth, Sword Dance, Bulk Up, High Jump Kick, Earthquake, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Horn Leech, Wood Hammer, Head Smash, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Solar Beam, Stone Edge, Play Rough, Pursuit, Outrage, Rock Slide, Close Combat, Poison Jab, Crunch, Shadow Ball, Synthesize, Giga Drain, Sunny Day, Overheat, Leaf Blade, Stomping Tantrum, High Horsepower, Mega Horn
Description: Terrabull is almost like a mixed Taurous with a better offensive typing and more SpAtk to use those Sheer Force moves, although its only fire move is overheat. You can go physical or special and every ability has value here on this dirty bull with trees for horns.

Pokemon: Punkminder
Type: Psychic/Fight
Abilities: Psychic Terrain (Adaptability)
Stats: 80/35/70/90/90/120 (505)
Movepool: Psychic, Aura Sphere, Vacuum Wave, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Expanding Force, Focus Blast, Energy Ball, Thunder Bolt, Psyshock, Drain Punch, Zen Headbutt
Description: Punkminder could be amazing, but its abilities almost work against it. Psychic terrain is great, but having one of the best Vacuum Waves stopped by your own ability can play against you. Adaptability is also great, but you can't serve your team well as Punkminder doesn't offer anything besides 'power' to its team and it does so with a SpAtk of 90. Granted, it's decently fast but Grass and Electric coverage aren't exactly what a psychic/Fight type is looking for, and it doesn't get Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse meaning enemy psychics can soak it up with enough SpDef.

Pokemon: Coldrex
Type: Ice/Dragon
Abilities: Intimidate/Refrigerate (Strong Jaw)
Stats: 93/113/80/52/90/102
Movepool: Ice Fang, Icicle Crash, Triple Axel, Hone Claws, Sword Dance, Dragon Dance, Outrage, Dragon Rush, Crunch, Dragon Claw, Thunder Fang, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Stealth Rocks, Roar, Fire Fang, Aqua Tail
Description: Based on the pictures of fluffy tyrannosaurs in the Arctic, Coldrex is decently fast, decently strong and has good coverage to offset its rather meh offensive typing.

Name: Freezlinger (Freeze + Slinger)
Ability: Snow Warning | Ice Scales (HA)
Typing: Dragon / Ice
Stats: 88 / 111 / 77 / 122 / 66 / 66 [BST: 530]
Weight: 222.2 kg
Relevant Moves: Blizzard, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Draco Meteor, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Earthquake, Haze, Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Rock Slide, Outrage, Substitute, Surf, Swords Dance, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch
Flavor Moves: Avalanche, Bite, Dragon Breath, Frost Breath, Hail, Icicle Spear, Icy Wind, Life Dew, Mist, Mud-Slap, Reversal, Rock Tomb, Rock Throw, Scale Shot, Twister, Water Pulse, Work Up
Description: Idk, I just throw my knowledge into this. It's just an Ice type offensive pivot, and probably setup sweeper with DD or SD. That's about it, nothing more, nothing less.

Pokémon: Chalicotarium (Chalicotherium + Terrarium)
Abilities: Sturdy / Mold Breaker / (Grassy Surge)
Typing:

Height: 2.8m | 9’04”
Weight: 602 kg | 1327.2 lbs
Base Stats: 85 HP / 95 Atk / 65 Def / 60 SpA / 150 SpD / 30 Spe [BST: 495]
Moves:
Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, High Horsepower, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, U-Turn, Knock Off, Rapid Spin, Low Kick, Drain Punch, Hammer Arm, Heavy Slam, Iron Head, Acrobatics
Stealth Rock, Leech Seed, Synthesis, Substitute, Toxic, Taunt, Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk
Force Palm, Aerial Ace, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Slam, Stomping Tantrum, Solar Blade, Vine Whip
Earth Power, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Leaf Storm, Mud Shot, Round, Snarl, Uproar, Swift, Magical Leaf
Growth, Grassy Terrain, Work Up, Attract, Screech, Rock Polish, Sand Attack
Intended Roles: Special Wall / Utility (Stealth Rock/Rapid Spin)
Competitive: Chalicotarium would be a great special wall. While it is slow, under grassy terrain it gains priority from Grassy Slide which would really help it against mons like Nympheral and Fuscicea. It also has fighting coverage for Pokémon like Slashowa and would be a great addition to the meta. Fluormingo would be a good answer for Chalicotarium since Chalicotarium doesn’t have good coverage for it, and Fluormingo resists its STAB. An interesting interaction they have is that Chalicotarium could recover more hp with Synthesis after correctly predicting a Fluormingo switch in. With Grassy Surge, Stealth Rock, Knock Off, U-turn, Rapid Spin, Taunt, Toxic, and great recovery, Chalicotarium would be a great supportive special wall on teams.
909E6C93-0A3E-491D-8C3A-0033E93C2B06.jpeg

Chalicotarium is based on the prehistoric Chalicotherium mammal. It lived approximately 15 million to 5 million years ago. They are known to be pretty odd looking animals. They look as if they have the snout of a horse, the body of a rhinoceros, and the arms of a sloth. It currently has no living relatives and is almost immune to classification. It was a land dwelling mammal that was completely herbivorous, so I thought it would be a good candidate for a Grass/Ground-type.

Pokemon: Mallenguin
Type:

Ability: Big Pecks / Gluttony / Iron Fist
Stats: 110 / 120 / 95 / 70 / 85 / 40
Moves:
Physical: Dragon Claw, Dragon Hammer, Hammer Arm, Ice Hammer, Ice Punch, Ice Shard, Icicle Spear, Outrage
Special: Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Ice Beam
Status: Bulk Up, Belly Drum, Slack Off, Trick Room
Description: hammertime. That aside, this Pokemon takes advantage of a souped-up Ice Hammer and Hammer Arm to deal massive damage, especially under Trick Room. Although its defensive typing is not that great, it can still attempt to set up and use Slack Off for longevity or Ice Shard to pick off frailer threats. Tech Heraleo and Fluormingo with Flamethrower lol

Name: Drootbao (druid + root + baobab)
Ability: Triage/Power Spot
Typing: Grass/Ground
Stats: 108/68/98/98/88/68 (520 BST)
Weight: 201.8 kg
Relevant Moves:
Special: Earth Power, Giga Drain, Moonblast, Power Gem, Scorching Sands
Status: Aromatherapy, Calm Mind, Synthesis
Flavor Moves:
Physical: Branch Poke, Bulldoze, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Sand Tomb, Wood Hammer
Special: Eerie Spell, Energy Ball, Extrasensory, Grass Knot, Hex, Mega Drain, Mud-Slap, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Solar Beam, Stored Power, Weather Ball
Status: All Universal TMs, Charm, Curse, Entrainment, Floral Healing, Grassy Terrain, Grudge, Ingrain, Perish Song, Rain Dance, Reflect Type, Sandstorm, Sing, Sunny Day, Toxic
Description: Drootbao's main asset is priority STAB Giga Drain, allowing it to consistently recover health even with its normally mediocre speed, using its secondary STAB Earth Power to smack prominent Grass resists. It can use its STAB combo in combination with Power Gem for Flying types and Moonblast for Dragons and Beetilient to be a handy Specs attacker. Alternatively, it can also serve as a bulky CM sweeper thanks to priority healing and natural good physical bulk, or even dabble in a support role with Aromatherapy and priority Synthesis, using Scorching Sands to spread burns.

"Due to its abnormal development, Drootbao's roots grow in crooked, giving them some difficulty moving. They mostly stand in one place communing with the spirits of nature."
"Drootbao possesses great mystical power, which gives them a very high opinion of themselves. They do not like being challenged."

Name: Senserval (sensei + sense + serval)
Ability: Forewarn/Analytic
Typing: Psychic/Fighting
Stats: 70/120/80/60/110/60 (500 BST)
Weight: 24.8 kg
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Close Combat, Focus Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, U-turn, Sucker Punch, Zen Headbutt
Status: Bulk Up, Substitute, Trick
Flavor Moves:
Physical: Acrobatics, Arm Thrust, Brick Break, Counter, Double Kick, Dual Chop, Fake Out, Feint, Force Palm, Low Kick, Low Sweep, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Reversal, Rock Smash, Smack Down, Strength, Submission
Special: Aura Sphere, Confusion, Extrasensory, Focus Blast, Future Sight, Mirror Coat, Psychic
Status: All Universal TMs, Acupressure, Agility, Calm Mind, Detect, Mat Block, Mind Reader, Sand Attack, Work Up
Description: Senserval uses Analytic to pack a deceptively powerful punch, using its decent special bulk to live a hit and then fire back a powerful attack (possibly boosted by Bulk Up). Senserval packs several great coverage options, like Ice and Thunder Punch for Flying types, U-turn for momentum that also smacks other Psychics, and even Sucker Punch in case you need a faster hit; Senserval can serve as a wildcard Band user thanks to these options and Trick. There is even the gimmicky option of Focus Punch, which can potentially inflict huge damage on switch ins.

"Senserval spend their whole lives perfecting their combat style, using their psychic abilities to read and counter any attack from the opponent".
"It is said Senserval's well-tuned ears are able to hear their opponent's thoughts, explaining how they are so good at countering their opponents."

Name: Glaciallo (glacier + allosaur)
Ability: Vital Spirit/Skill Link/Clear Body
Typing: Ice/Dragon
Stats: 95/117/93/45/70/85 (505 BST)
Weight: 107.9 kg
Relevant Moves:
Physical: Crunch, Earthquake, Icicle Spear, Iron Head, Scale Shot
Status: Dragon Dance
Flavor Moves:
Physical: Aqua Tail, Assurance, Avalanche, Bite, Body Slam, Bulldoze, Dragon Tail, Headbutt, Ice Fang, Iron Tail, Outrage, Retaliate, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stomping Tantrum, Thrash
Special: Ancient Power, Aurora Beam, Blizzard, Dragon Breath, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Shadow Ball, Water Pulse
Status: All Universal TMs, Hail, Roar, Rock Polish, Scary Face
Description: Skill Link dual STAB is definitely the main draw of this mon, hitting just hard enough off 117 Attack to clean house once opposing Waters are out of the picture; Scale Shot also has the perk of boosting Glaciallo's speed. I tried my best to balance around dual Skill Link STAB, but I still gave it a few coverage options like Stomping Tantrum for Steel types and Iron Head for Fairies. Finally, Dragon Dance gives it some option for boosting. Glaciallo can be a scary sweeper late game, but keep in mind it isn't the bulkiest, especially post Scale Shot.

"How Glaciallo adapted to a frigid environment has baffled scientists for decades. Due to their stubborn disposition, it is commonly joked that they adapted through sheer force of will".
"Glaciallo somehow adapted to frigid environments to fill in the role of an apex predator. The cold has rendered their arms mostly useless, so they mainly hunt by firing icy projectiles at prey."

Blizzmetrodon is based on the Paleozoic animal Dimetrodon, a Stem-Mammal (yes it's not a dinosaur), with it's most known characteristics is it's big sail on it's back, which in Blizzmetrodon is made of a crystal-clear ice.

Description:
Concept: Basically Gaia, the Greek representation of the Earth, Pokemon-ified. Also drew on a lot of Celebi vibes as "the guradian of the forest" and all that.
Competitive: The stats were easy to do since it's just standard mythical. While quite bulky and quite strong, it isn't very bulky or very strong. Serene Grace seems broken but it really doesn't have anything to abuse it with. All in all, it should be fine.

Description: Majestrap is a bulky offensive Pokemon with high power STAB and a bunch of coverage. The eye-catching aspect of Majestrap is Swords Dance and high power moves, with Gunk Shot and Psychic Fangs for strong coverage, but there's a lot more cool tech to be had. Offensive sets have a plethora of options with Sleep Powder for easier setup and Coil for sets that don't need the immediate bulk and Hone Claws to fix the accuracy of Gunk Shot/Power Whip/Elemental Fangs. 3 attack sets are also an option with Synthesis being a nice tool to have. Because of its amazing physical bulk, Majestrap has the option of running physically defensive sets with Synthesis for recovery and a bunch of utility in Glare, Toxic, Defog, and Leech Seed. It's not passive as a wall either, due to its naturally good attack combined with high power STAB in Power Whip or Earthquake. The last set to be covered is Chlorophyll, since with the introduction of Sun with Fluormingo, it's only fitting that Chlorophyll Pokemon be added. With Growth being an amazing move in Sun and Majestrap's plethora of oppurtunities to switch in, its nearly unresisted coverage with Solar Blade Power Whip / Earthquake / Fire Fang destroys everything after a Growth. Mixed Sun sets could also be a possibility due to its Special Attack being decently high after a +2 boost and Weather Ball for fire coverage.
Lore: After being subject to bad, albeit unintentional, treatment from its gardener, Majestrap mutated from a friendly houseplant into a monstrous beast akin to a Venus Flytrap. Because it's no longer being taken care of by a human, Majestrap often lures people and Pokemon to eat with a toxic yet enticing liquid oozing from its mouth. Majestrap often kidnaps baby Ventrap in an effort to make sure that they are taken care of properly. Their lairs are stocked with mulch, dirt, and fertilizer so they don't run out of nutrients.
Dex Entry 1: Majestrap lures nearby People and Pokemon with an enticing ooze from its mouth so it can eat them for nutrition.
Dex Entry 2: Majestrap often cover themselves with broken pots and jars in order to protect themselves from attacks.

Lore: Ventrap are a popular household Pokemon, fiercely defending a house from intruders when left alone, and being a handy deterrent for any pesky Bug Pokemon.
Dex Entry 1: Ventrap is a very shy Pokemon, but will never betray someone it has bonded with.
Dex Entry 2: Ventrap often use poles and areas it can bite and grip as a way of swinging itself around.

Description: Refrigerake has amazing bulk and high offensive stats, bolstered by two amazing abilities and recovery. With its bulk and healing combined with Thunder Wave naturally good offenses, Refrigerake can run a defensive set that spreads paralysis for its teammates to use to outspeed the opposing Pokemon while chipping certain threats with a meaty chunk of damage with Refrigerate boosted Explosion, Draco Meteor if you don't want to risk losing a mon, or Flip Turn for slow pivoting. A Choice Specs set is also an option with its naturally high Special Attack combined with high power moves in Refrigerate boosted Hyper Voice and Draco Meteor. The same goes for Choice Band with using Outrage and Icicle Crash. Choice sets would most likely also run coverage and Flip Turn. Focusing more on setup, Refrigerake can also run Autotomize to catch up to the rest of the meta and deal out heavy hits. Work Up and Calm Mind are also options that can be used, with Calm Mind boosting up its Special Defense allowing it to be even bulkier. Last but not least, it can function as a Trick Room setter with pivoting and healing. As of now, the meta has quite a few slow Pokemon, but no reliable Trick Room setters, meaning that Refrigerake has quite an important niche.
Lore: At a Home Depot somewhere in the Unova region, a small Dragon-type Pokemon sneaks in and makes it home, stealing food from visitors and nesting inside a refrigerator. One day, the Pokemon evolves in its sleep, fusing with the refrigerator to make Refrigerake.
Dex Entry 1: Refrigerake often lets tired Alcremie and Appletun rest in its mouth during hot weather in exchange for some food.
Dex Entry 2: Rumors say that the refrigerator that Refrigerake evolved in was a Samsung RF27T

Description: So this is a more cut and dry fusion, made less for the lore and more for the cool synergy with moves and ability. Reckless pairs really well with High Jump Kick, Head Smash, and Double Edge, making really high power moves off of a strong attack stat. No Guard synergizes well with High Jump Kick and Zen Headbutt being innacurate STABs with Triple Axel for unresisted coverage.
Lore: Psykick is a famed kickboxer, known around the world. Despite being in the lowest weight class, its taken out opponents more than five times its weight.

Flavor Moves: Energy Ball, Fissure, Forest's Curse, Giga Drain, Grassy Terrain, Growth, Ingrain, Nature Power, Pollen Puff, Purify, Sand Attack, Solar Beam, Solar Blade, Sunny Day

Flavor: It's an ent.

...Okay, I should explain it a little more than that. Ents are... big tree people, kind of? Basically fantasy creatures based on trees. They've been kind of around since Tolkien slapped them into his popular middle-earth books like Lord of the Rings. A modern-day comparison would be something like Groot except with less superhero movie and more medieval.

Description: With the recent addition of a sun setter, how about something that can use it to their advantage? Enter Treementous, a behemoth of a Pokémon that plays mostly defensively with its titan of a health pool and supportive moveset that can help its allies as well as itself. It can either lean into this more with Flower Veil granting it an ability to ignore all statuses and enemy stat drops, or be more proactive with Flower Gift. 85 base attack isn't much, but in the sun it can be a force of destruction that reaches roughly effective 155 base attack. Similarly, it becomes a frighteningly powerful special tank with its significantly buffed special defense and souped up Synthesis.

(As an aside for those uncertain about the interaction between Body Press and Flower Gift or just don't know how the ability-based attack modifiers interact with it, FG does apply for Body Press, but to its defense stat.)

Flavor Moves: Aurora Beam, Avalanche, Dragon Tail, Hail, Hone Claws, Howl, Ice Fang, Iron Tail, Mist, Poison Fang, Shadow Claw, Weather Ball

Flavor: A drake is... basically a flightless dragon, since it lacks wings. Naturally, this one looks like it's partially frozen over given the ice typing. And it looks especially aggressive, with both sharp claws and fangs to worry about.

Description: I thought about the concept of Skill Link Scale Shot and this... kind of evolved from it. Strong and fast that can make use of that (as well as icicle spear and pin missile), with a special attack stat that's okay enough to use Draco to let it have a go at breaking past the physical walls that stop it. Or you can do something funky like a special set that makes use of Flame Orb Marvel Scale with Haze and Rest to cancel setup sweepers. It's an option if you don't want to use the scale shot button. Sometimes even the worse end of defensive type combos have just the set of matchups you want to mesh with the rest of your team.

Description: Only half a joke sub. really cool mon with all its coverage. Rapid Spin lets it get rid of hazards, Slack Off is just there for recovery. the main part of this is its offensive part. it uses its good coverage to beat mons, but it doesnt have that much coverage because i dont want it to be OP.

Description: cool defensive mon that allows its teammates to set-up, SPECIALLY Skappa since it has Slush Rush. it can be a decent-ish Dragon Dance sweeper with its good-ish physical moves, but thats not at all what it's supposed to do. it also has Roost, Taunt, Defog and Heall Bell. it also has Wonder Skin, wich means its 50% less likely to be hit by moves like Taunt or Defog, wich is really good i guess.

Description: Hibergon is a dragon that sleeps through the coldest of winters. Competitively, Ice Scales is its main ability, making it nearly unbreakable on the special side. Its lack of recovery should make it easier to handle though. I wanted something with huge special bulk because I was just tired about the meta lacking any specially defensive pokemon. It could try to run resttalk to help with its recovery issues but that limits its potential for offense. Speaking of offense, Hibergon's decent 110 spatk lets it not be passive if running bulk and means it can threathen frail attackers such as Fluxtape and Slashowa. It also has some nice support options with its moves. Dragon Tail and Haze can help against stat boosting opponents, Core Enforcer can remove the opponent's ability, and Thunder Wave can paralyze and slow down offensive pokemon. Basically, Hibergon is just a really, really fat special tank.

Will try working on a sub review for tomorrow. Try to get your subs in if you want me to review them, though I'll still be on the discord if you posted after the review.
