NU Steelix

Steelix @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Curse

Steelix has been a titan metagame threat in the past generation of NU as well this one; it is NU's most consistent rocker thanks to its good defensive typing, sky-high physical bulk, and ability to check some of the tier's top threats, namely Sneasel, Klinklang, Aromatisse, Braviary, and Audino. Steelix bears a decent natural Attack stat, a spammable STAB move in Earthquake, a powerful Heavy Slam, and to top it all off, a setup move in Curse, increasing it's already good Attack and monstrous Defense. For Steelix to thrive to the best of its abilities, it's advised to pair it with checks to Pokemon such as Slowbro, Rotom, and Blastoise, which can all come in comfortably and stop this behemoth in its tracks. Some examples of good partners would include Venusaur, Guzzlord, Sneasel, and Whimsicott. Overall, Steelix's impact on NU is gargantuan and overwhelming, much like the Pokemon itself.

This is good, maybe mention Mega Audino / Aromatisse as some other relevant threats Lix checks, you've basically covered everything, nice. 1/1
