Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin / Recover

Starmie is a five-star player on offensive teams due to its excellent coverage, Speed, and utility. It can consistently remove entry hazards while threatening Analytic-boosted blows to its would-be switch-ins. Ice Beam threatens Dragon- and Grass-types like Garchomp and Tangrowth, which can take advantage of defensive Starmie sets. Thunderbolt allows Starmie to punish Rotom-W switching in and also deals with Water-types such as Azumarill and Feraligatr. Recover is a good alternative over Rapid Spin that improves Starmie's longevity, allowing it to better check Infernape, Garchomp, and Lucario. Scizor is a good teammate that provides pivoting and lures in Heatran and Infernape for Starmie. Wallbreakers such as Infernape and Weavile appreciate its ability to remove entry hazards, and in return deal with Blissey and Latias, which it struggles against. Setup sweepers reliant on having full HP such as Breloom and Dragonite love its ability to keep entry hazards off, and appreciate it dealing with Nidoking and Garchomp.

Starmie is a five-star player in offensive teams due to its excellent coverage, Speed, and utility, allowing it to consistently keep hazards off in BDSP OU while threatening heavy Analytic-boosted blows to its would-be switchins. Analytic-boosted Hydro Pump heavily damages potential switch-ins such as Jirachi. (the STAB doesnt really need a comment and neither does Analytic, this is the extent of what id go towards describing it - also you dont beat Rachi with two of them anyway...) Ice Beam threatens Dragon- and Grass-types like Latios and Tangrowth which can take advantage of defensive Starmie sets. Thunderbolt allows Starmie to punish Rotom-W switching in and also deals with Water-types such as Azumarill and Feraligatr. Recover improves Starmie's longevity, allowing it to better check Infernape, Garchomp, and Breloom. (loom is not an example id make since you need to confirm a choicelock or get blasted by seed but w/e; maybe Lucario is a better choice?) Scizor provides pivoting and lures Heatran and Infernape for Starmie. Wallbreakers such as Infernape and Weavile appreciates its ability to remove hazards, and in return deals with Blissey and Latias, which it struggles against. Setup sweepers reliant on having full HP such as Breloom and Dragonite love its ability to keep hazards off, and appreciate it dealing with Nidoking and Latios.

- Rapid Spin / Recover it's a little weird you talk so much about how good of a spinner it is, but Rapid Spin is slashed?
