[SET COMMENTS]

Spectrier is a deadly special attacker that is able to quickly snowball against teams thanks to its high Speed, outrinning some of the metagame's fastest threats like Greninja and Iron Valiant. Spectrier utilizes Draining Kiss to hit Dark-type Pokemon that would otherwise resist its STAB Shadow Ball like the aforementioned Greninja as well as non-Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Roaring Moon. Draining Kiss also serves as a secondary recovery option to help heal off the damage taken by setting up a Substitute. Nasty Plot is used to elevate Spectrier's Special Attack to incredible heights without having to KO foes beforehand. Spectrier shines best when it is able to set up a Substitute, and subsequently a Nasty Plot, in the face of a more passive foe like Toxapex, then begin spamming its scarcely resisted Shadow Ball + Draining Kiss combination. Leftovers is used to provide more substantial recovery than Draining Kiss, but Colbur Berry is an option to take a Dark-type attack from Pokemon like Choice Scarf Great Tusk, Chien-Pao, and Barraskewda. Will-O-Wisp should be used instead of Substitute if Colbur Berry is the item of choice, as it allows Spectrier to capitalize on surviving an attack from these extremely potent physical threats. If Will-O-Wisp is preferred over Substitute, Hex can also be used to deal more damage to burned threats.

Skeledirge can switch into strong physical attacks from Pokemon that threaten Spectrier such as Choice Scarf Gallade, Scizor, Ceruledge, and Mimikyu lacking Shadow Claw, then scare them with Will-O-Wisp. Mimikyu is also a great teammate, as it can help Spectrier deal with Pokemon that may not go down to a single Draining Kiss, such as Ting-Lu, as well as Kingambit and Chien-Pao if Disguise is in tact. Mimikyu is also able to finish off threats such as Flutter Mane and Dragapult with Shadow Sneak. Froslass and Brambleghast are teammates that work well with Spectrier, setting up Spikes for Spectrier to nab easier KOs and snowball with Grim Neigh. Froslass is also able to use Thunder Wave to slow down faster Pokemon, while Brambleghast is able to remove entry hazards via Rapid Spin, allowing Spectrier to pivot more freely. Choice Scarf Flutter Mane is a great teammate thanks to its incredible Speed and ablility to deal with common Choice Scarf users that give Spectrier trouble such as Gholdengo, Hisuian Samurott and Great Tusk. STAB Moonblast can also damage or remove Dark-type Pokemon to make Spectrier's job easier. Finally, Hisuian Zoroark is a solid teammate due to its ability to switch into Ghost-type attacks that would otherwise threaten Spectrier and all of its other teammates. Hisuian Zoroark can also apply utility support by wearing down opposing teams with Will-O-Wisp and Knock Off. Dragapult is a great teammate, as it can burn and force damage on common walls like Quagsire, Clodsire, Alolan Muk and Ting-Lu, and forcing damage on them to make sweeping easier. It is also important to note that burned Quagsire and Clodsire cannot break Spectrier's Substitute in one hit, making setting up a lot easier. Finally, bulky Nasty Plot Gholdengo is a great teammate for Spectrier. Gholdengo can wear down Dark- and Poison-type Pokemon like Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Clodsire, which Spectrier struggle with, while Spectrier can help with faster threats like Dragon- and Fighting-type Pokemon, such as Hydreigon and Great Tusk.

Spectrier is a deadly special attacker that is able to quickly snowball against teams thanks to its higher speed than outspeeding some of the metagame's fastest threats, like Greninja and Iron Valiant. (Mention Grim Neigh here) Spectrier's shiny new toy in SV is Draining Kiss, which finally gives it a way to super effectively hit the Dark-type Pokemon that plagued it last generation. Draining Kiss also serves as a secondary recovery option to help heal off the damage taken by setting up a Substitute. Nasty Plot is used to elevate Spectrier's Special Attack to incredible heights without having to KO 2 foes beforehand. Spectrier shines best when it is able to set up a Substitute (and Nasty Plot) in the face of a more passive opponent like Toxapex and or Garganacl, then begin spamming its scarcely resisted Shadow Ball / Draining Kiss combination. Leftovers is used to provide more substantial recovery than Draining Kiss, (not really accurately phrased; Leftovers and Draining Kiss work hand-in-hand, and a +2 Draining Kiss will provide more substantial recovery than Leftovers. What Leftovers provides is passive healing over time, which is useful to give Spectrier the chance to set up more Substitutes or potentially live a priority move from something like Scizor or Urshifu-R) but Colbur Berry is an option to take a Dark-type attack from Pokemon like Great Tusk, Greninja, and or Meowscarada. (Colbur also gives Spectrier good odds to survive a Sucker Punch from a max Attack Supreme Overlord Kingambit with 5 allies fainted, or a non-Choice Band/Life Orb Chien-Pao's Crunch; I think it's a good idea to mention these two uses for Colbur Berry specifically here, as those two are some of the best answers to Spectrier.)

Skeledirge can switch into strong Pphysical attacks from Pokemon that threaten Spectrier such as Dragonite, (Dragonite strikes me as an odd choice to mention here, since Spectrier outspeeds it and is obviously immune to Extreme Speed) Choice Scarf Gallade, and Zamazenta, then threaten them with a Will-O-Wisp. Mimikyu is also a great teammate as it can help Spectrier deal with Pokemon that may not go down to a single Draining Kiss, such as Kingambit, Ting-Lu and Chien-Pao (mention that it only really deals with Gambit and Pao if it still has Disguise intact). Froslass (and Brambleghast) is another teammate that works well with Spectrier, setting up sSpikes for Spectrier to nab easier KOs as its Special Attack continues to rise. A defense (physically defensively?) oriented Gholdengo is a great teammate for Spectrier, throwing around Thunder Waves to slow down the opposing Pokemon team to make sure nothing outspeeds it Spectrier. (Sounds good in theory, but Gholdengo matches up poorly against a lot of Pokemon that outspeed Spectrier, such as Dragapult, Chien-Pao, and Choice Scarf Hisuian Samurott, and can't paralyze Regieleki) Finally, Spectrier and Dragon Dance Dragapult can make a great pairing as well. Dragapult is able to outspeed and KO the Pokemon that would otherwise take advantage of Spectrier's lackluster bulk (such as? There's not much in-between Spectrier and Dragapult's speed tiers, and DD Dragapult is also weak to Chien-Pao and Flutter Mane even though it outspeeds both). (Mention Choice Scarf Flutter Mane in this paragraph; excellent speed control to pair with NP Spectrier, beats a lot of common Scarfers like Gholdengo and Hisuian Samurott, and STAB Moonblast can deal with some annoying Dark-types like Ting-Lu ahead of time. I would also mention Hisuian Zoroark can nullify Ghost attacks for Spectrier from Pokemon such as opposing Spectrier and Flutter Mane, and wear down opposing teams with Wisp and Knock to ease Spectrier's sweeps.)

Good analysis that gets straight to the point; just needs a few mentions in the teammates section mostly. Nice work.

we cant reference oldgen sets in newgen analyses, just mention how potent Draining kiss is, which as you said would've OHKO'ed Gren/Val at +2

Nasty Plot, in the face of a more passive opponent like Toxapex or Garganacl
Nacl isnt really that great an example, as Curse sort of outpaces you at +1 (it seems) + Rock-type clause

Colbur berry also gives Spectrier a good chance to survive some very powerful attacks, namely a Sucker Punch from Kingambit with 5 fainted allies, as well as a
Its cut off, Colbur Berry is more of if you're packing Will-o-wisp. Alternatively, Boots might be a better option, reducing your dependency on bramb spinning for you. Also Gambito isnt SP'ing you,the threat of W-o-W + Draining kiss is never dealing enough. Burning Chien-Pao is big tho, so again, add W-o-W if Colbur is used (you dont kill back with Draining). W-o-W also supports the other NP'er in Ghold, as this means Clod and Quaggy never do enough to threaten it now.

It goes to say that Will-o-Wisp should be slashed with Sub, in case of Colbur (or remove Colbur and just note it in the analysis).

As for team mates:
Skeledirge -> Zama I think shouldnt be mentioned as you're bopped by Banded Crunchies/Stone Edge, a better Choice might be Scizor, Ceruledge, non-Shadow Claw Mimi.

Dragapult is missing -> can spread burns and force damage on walls like Ting-Lu, Cloddy, and A.Muk early on, increasing your chances of sweeping. A burnt Clod/Quag also is unable to break your sub in that case too

Gholdengo -> can run a bulky np set that can wear down Dark-types and deals with Poison much better, where spec can be sus against. On the flip side, Spec beats faster paced teams like Dragon and Fighting alongside its team mates which Gholdy doesnt really do that well against.

thank you TheRealBigC for the AMQC, its good. Also, thankie for your help RoyalReloaded >:3

Spectrier shines best when it is able to set up a Substitute, and subsequently a Nasty Plot, in the face of a more passive opponent foe like Toxapex, then begin spamming its scarcely resisted Shadow Ball / Draining Kiss Shadow Ball + Draining Kiss combination. Leftovers is used to provide more substantial recovery than Draining Kiss, but Colbur Berry is an option to take a Dark-type attack from Pokemon like Choice Scarf Great Tusk, Chien-Pao or and Barraskewda. Will-O-Wisp should be used instead of Substitute if Colbur Berry is the item of choice, as it allows you Spectrier to capitalize on surviving an attack from these extremely potent physical threats. If Will-O-Wisp is preferred over Substitute, Hex can also be used to deal more damage to burned threats.

Skeledirge can switch into strong physical attacks from Pokemon that threaten Spectrier such as Choice Scarf Gallade, Scizor, Ceruledge, (AC) and Mimikyu lacking Shadow Claw, then threaten (maybe find a different word here because you've used threaten in this sentence already) them with a Will-O-Wisp. Mimikyu is also a great teammate, (AC) as it can help Spectrier deal with Pokemon that may not go down to a single Draining Kiss, such as Ting-Lu, as well as Kingambit and Chien-Pao if Disguise is intact. Mimikyu is also able to finish off threats such as Flutter Mane and Dragapult with Shadow Sneak. Froslass and Brambleghast are teammates that work well with Spectrier, setting up Spikes for Spectrier to nab easier KOs and snowball with Grim Neigh as its Special Attack continues to rise. Froslass is also able to use Thunder Wave to slow down faster Pokemon, while Brambleghast is able to remove entry hazards via Rapid Spin, allowing Spectrier to pivot more freely. Choice Scarf Flutter Mane is a great teammate thanks to its incredible speed and able Speed and ability to deal with common Choice Scarf users that give Spectrier trouble such as Gholdengo, Hisuian-Samurott, (AC) and Great Tusk. STAB Moonblast can also damage or remove (only implement if this is correct / worth saying because this a content change) Dark-type Pokemon to make Spectrier's job easier. Finally, Hisuian- (remove hyphen) Zoroark is a solid teammate due to its ability to switch in to into Ghost-type attacks that would otherwise threaten Spectrier and all of its other teammates. Hisuian (remove hyphen) Zoroark can also apply offensive support (do you mean "offensive pressure" because offensive support isn't a thing) by wearing down opposing teams with Will-O-Wisp and Knock Off. Dragapult is a great teammate, (AC) as it can burn and force damage on common walls like Quagsire, Clodsire, Alolan (remove hyphen) Muk and Ting-Lu, and forcing damage on them to make sweeping easier. It is also important to note that burnt burned (american english) Quagsires and Clodsires Quagsire and Clodsire cannot break Spectrier's substitute Substitute in one hit, making setting up a lot easier. Finally, bulky Nasty Plot Gholdengo is a great teammate for Spectrier. Gholdengo can wear down Dark- and Poison-type Pokemon like Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Clodsire, (AC) which Spectrier struggle struggles with, while Spectrier can help with faster threats like Dragon- and Fighting-type Pokemon, (AC) such as Hydreigon and Great Tusk.
