Title: Headless
I have to seek my head that has been lost,
I have to seek my head at any cost,
the Jack-o-lantern does not feel the same,
so, my head is what I try to claim,
if those mortals did not separate me and my head,
the souls that have faced me now would not be dead,
I did not want them to face my wrath, I really did not,
but because of my state, my temper is hot,
so please do not disturb me while I try to find my head,
for once it has been found, I can be free of dread.
Explanation: I had to draft a poem about how a myth connects with an experience IRL, so I chose the story of the headless horseman and how it is like losing an original item with alot of meaning (in this poem, the head), it can be replaced but it will never feel the same as the original.
