Reported themselves after finding out asking for wins is against the rules. Precedent say this should be a tourban, but because they came forward themselves and how early on in their laddering it happened the impact is, frankly, minimal.

Result: Kaiserion will be disqualified from Cycle 1, but will be allowed to participate in the remaining cycles.

This user was found to be an alt. They are currently in a qualifying position with their account "LT103TTGalatasaray".

This post serves is to notify all players trying to qualify for this cycle that this user will obviously not be eligible for OLT playoffs, given their ban.

EDIT: PS admins have removed the account's elo, so they are now fully unable to influence this cycle.

Re: Passwords

There were several instances last cycle about people claiming to have gotten their OLT ladder alts compromised. It's a very hard situation to resolve in post if someone gets onto your ladder alt and deliberately forfeits games to drag your ranking down, so I urge everyone to be responsible about this. Adhere to decent password safety standards:

• Don't reuse passwords
• Don't share your password with others
• Use a strong password
• Ideally have a password manager if you can

I would much rather see that we can avoid getting into situations like last cycle where someone gets compromised 30 minutes before the deadline and it's basically impossible to resolve in a reasonable manner that doesn't just hold up the tournament itself. This is something that is much easier for users to prevent themselves than it is for us to do anything afterwards.

Re: GF's release schedule

DLC is dropping in a few days which will significantly impact the SV OU metagame. To avoid having a too unstable metagame OLT will continue to use the pre-DLC metagame for the rest of the Swiss stage. When swiss is over we will use the post-DLC SV OU tier lists. This should hopefully be enough for the tier to settle somewhat without being too disruptive to anyone participating.

Some people asked me to post this so here:

As of yesterday Ursaluna-Bloodmoon was banned from Gen 9 OU. It will still be legal for all remaining games of this round; even those that got extended to Monday.
