(4-1) pdt vs umbry (5-0) - The matchup of the tour. Pdt is one of the most historically consistent UU players despite graduating top of his class at clown academy. Man has a really unique team building style and is very good at this game despite dicking around too much. Umbry has played her mind off so far. I think her team building style is a little too similar so far, so I expect a little more creativity. Pdt has also stuck to his guns with offensive builds most of the tour. This is gonna be a great game. But pdt is the most likely person to knock Umbry off her streak, so I bold him.

(0-1) Lily - Separation (0-0) - UU tier leader Lily going up against the most expensive 0-4 player in the tour. Idk who they are, but I'm not sure slotting them into UU is the move. Lily is a top 5 all time UU builder and she's going up against a team whose UU support is either Baloor or the ghost of the Christmas past? It's really looking grim for Dynamos UU slot.

(2-3) hariyana grande vs McMeghan (2-2) - This is an interesting matchup. Roro won last week only because Accel brought a rain team incapable of breaking Alo which is a huge error in the builder. I still don't find Roro's performance impressive when taking into account him being one of the most recognizable names on the site. Hari hasn't had a bad tour, but I don't think he's had any commanding performances. Just going with the overall better player here.

(3-2) Gilbert Arenas vs Punny (4-1) - Gilbert has the best record out of the non UU mainers. I am impressed. I don't have much to say other than he's been solid. Punny fucked around too much this week. Sacked a spinner and nearly got beat by hazards. Got some very lucky defensive rolls having two mons live at 1%. This is a tough pick, but I like Gilbert on this one.



(3-2) Chloe vs zS (2-3) - zS is a stronger player in this tier. 2-3 is a surprising record from him. I think, despite his record, he's top of the pool under my goat hoe the ho3n. Had a very tight game last week and I think will win this game. Chloe is interesting because she's beaten the better players in the pool but lost to the struggling players. She had an easy matchup last week, will be interesting to see how she performs here.

(2-2) Mana vs 3d (0-0) - Fastest bold of my life. Mana is the better player, getting creative in the tier, likely gonna mop. I don't think 3d stands a chance here to be honest. The Dynamos seem to be picking names out of a hat to play PU at this point. Put Baloor in PU fr. PUPL winner loor might get you your first win.

(2-3) gum vs DugZa (1-4) - Gum is the better builder and has one of the better minds for lower tiers. Kinda like togkey but less drama involved. Dugza has had a wildly bad tournament. He has Danny (and Tier LOL) for PU support, but is still 1-4. I don't know what's going on, but I'm gonna keep bolding the other side until performances get better.

(3-2) Santu vs asa (0-0) - PU room goat Asa is finally in. Kind of surprising Xiri is being benched despite being 2-3 in probably the most mediocre performing tier in the whole tournament. I don't know if Asa has ever played a big tour like this so I'm going to bold the other side. Santu has been around the block and has performed consistently. I hope Asa wins bc I love to see mainers succeed vs tour players. I expect some heat from Asa and something weird but good from Santu.

I'm gonna vote for xavgb because he has been the most creative player in the OU section with the xavgb 6, he made sd moonblast valiant tho, so I'm never forgiving him for that one smh

SV OU: mind gaming vs xavgb - Blockbuster OU matchup between two undefeated gamers. I think mind is more likely to bring a wacky set but xavgb is more likely to bring a whole new core. This one's coming down to the builder. Tune into this one.

SV OU: Isza vs blunder - Isza is undefeated as we speak but blunder is on a roll right now, recovering from an 0-3 start with two consecutive sweeps. Shoguns OU support is extremely robust and I think that might make the difference here.

SV NU: freezai vs watashi - freezai will be extra motivated to win this one, as the title will be "I Fought a Three-Time Pokemon Champion in a Big Tournament" and he can't let his viewers down. Expect

SV OU: Ox the Fox vs DAHLI - I think DAHLI is good but I am not convinced by their form this tour, with a timeout and vicious luck playing into their two wins thus far. Ox is winless thus far but two of those losses were xavgb and Nat - I think he can spin back, even though it's far too late for the Spartans.

SV UU: Lily vs Separation - Lily has backslid ever since a brutal W3 matchup, but Separation is in an even worse position, going 0-4 and now transferring to UU, a tier in which he has zero posts in the forum. Dynamos are button mashing at this point.

SV OU: Sylveon used calm mind vs Wolf - If there's two Gliscor at team preview just close the tab because Sylveon used calm mind can and will drag this shit out for 200 turns.

SV OU: Nat vs Welli0u - Welli0u has been the one embracing the darkness as of recently, going winless in the last three weeks. Nat is in better form right now and imo has a better meta read. Her loss against mncmt still seemed like a fairly well-played game so if she's locked in I think she can control this one.

SV UU: umbry vs pdt - if anyone's going to stop the umbry 9-0 it's gonna be pdt. Two of the tier's finest, must watch viewing. This prediction is, like, 50.5/49.5.

Studio Gible (5) vs (5) Uncharted Terrors

SV OU: Fogbound Lake vs procorphish - Fogbound was 4-0 then got instantly fucked over by storm zone's SD Gliscor when it ice fang froze the corviknight. Im not expert enough to know how that wouldve played out since it happened very early but overall he's been strong. a schedule of Finch wolf carkoala and baloor gives me confidence he is both proven vs good players and can succeed vs a new sub coming in. mind gaming's team support and their close friendship(i think?) will likely help too, the gibles have just been very strong in ou overall and i dont see that changing.
SV OU: z0mOG vs oldspicemike - this one's really close to a 50-50. Zom is 1-2 but his losses are to mence and rubyblood who are a combined 8-0. Mike has done well starting 3-2 in his debut tour, but his game vs zio last week wasn't very convincing -- he kinda robbed w some luck and some weird plays on both sides tho a win is a win ofc. Cheering for mike go midwest woo yay but gonna give zom a tiny edge.
SV OU: mind gaming vs xavgb - holy fuckin banger. pretty much no flaws to either player except stresh's desire to deadgame if the week is decided. that better not happen. both players have consistently pushed the meta and put up absolutely dominant results in sv. having stresh as a retain for 3-4 years has almost singlehandedly made the terrors a dynasty, while mind gaming has been worth his entire 36k pricetag. stresh teams have been extremely consistent in both late ss and sv, and he seems to be branching out in playstyles a bit with the milo skeledirge fat. mind gaming has created some absolutely ridiculous offenses like the frosmoth and psyspam teams from spl. i think stresh is the tiniest bit stronger due to his greater individual results but this is basically another 50-50 and could be one of the best games in the tour.
SV Ubers: Fc vs RichardMillePlain - Both are doing well at 3-2 and coming off a loss last week... sadly i cant say too much with us having not played either team. both have varied their playstyle a good amount and have wins vs good players. went ahead and /picked this one
SV DOU: zee vs Nails - nails came into scl as the consensus #1 doubles player, and even after dropping 2 games this tour, one versus the otherwise winless meminger and one vs xrn after loading something apparently too cute, hes still around the top of the pool. the loss to meminger makes this less ironclad than youd think, the formula for an upset seems to be out there, but id def still favor nails
SV UU: Eternal Spirit vs Accel - accel lost last week with 2 hurricane pokemon, including a specs torn, against a team with an extremely shaky flying resists and really no other special walls. meanwhile gama clutched out what seemed to be a tough game against gilbert, is doing well at 3-2 and seems to have good support. it should be a close one, theyre just a game apart in record, but accel only has wins over 0-5 UU slots this tour and gama is 3-2
SV RU: Dr. Phd. BJ vs Feliburn - Gible's RU slot is 0-5, and they're now going to their third player here. Doctor blowjob is 0-3 in UUSD right now, which is the first time i think he's played in non OM tours, and i don't really see any reason to bold him against Feli
SV NU: etern vs avarice - very close game too. etern is clearly passionate this tour and loves sv nu right now, and he's doing great so far with a 4-1 record. avarice only recently subbed in but has started 2-0; he's generally very unpredictable in the builder and i personally find him very hard to prep against. im going to predict an upset here because i think avarice has a prep advantage. he can play any style and frequently does, and also has less games to judge from. meanwhile etern has posted a lot about NU and has generally put a ton of information out there.
SV PU: S1nn0hC0nfirm3d vs sensei axew - hard to bold against ho3n in his current form. senseis games have had lots of luck muddying them up, he probably should have won week 1 vs mana but also got a massive crit vs gum. ho3n is 5-0 and has Aura + has looked very convincing in almost all the games
SV LC: cleann vs Laroxyl - dcae, gible lc player, said that his play rather than his teams caused their 0-5 start in LC. he stands by his team choice and thinks with a few different clicks theyd be doing well. theoretically he could pass these lc teams to someone who knows the tier and perhaps they'd do well. however cleann has never touched this tier so this plan falls apart there. ninjadog being locked out of lc is very unfortunate. laro is solid, experienced, and will almost certainly farm the non mainer

SV OU: Ox the Fox vs DAHLI - This Is For The Game You Robbed For The Dou Game. dahli's tech of custap manaphy last week was actually super fucking cool tho, i have no idea how that worked out. he then got a million dodges and crits. i havent watched ox's games but know he's 0-3, despite spartans being out i think he wont want to troll his sheet record too hard and he's good enough to get a win eventually even if he doesnt have much sv results
SV OU: Sage vs BIHI - Bihi is good and SD non-LO Sciz was great on his HO last week and kinda farmed. however i feel this has a similar energy to sage's game last week against another former dynamo welliou... bihi probably deserves the bold for being 2-1 in ou against the top-tier schedule of malekith mindgaming and blunder, but i'll be biased and bold my friend off the gut feeling
SV Ubers: Taka vs Fade - Starter>sub, fade has been good in ubers. His games have been a bit mu dependent, he got rocked when he ran into like a 0-100 mu vs soulwind but then seemed to be carried by a very strong mu vs entro last week. Not that he played badly or anything, but fade's matchups seem volatile and taka could def win if fade draws another very bad one. Favoring the starter overall tho
SV DOU: Tenzai vs Feyy - not much to say sorry n_n feyy did look good last week until the crit, and 1 of their losses was timer, so they could easily be 3-1. i hear tenzai was also goobed last week by a jrl crit so could be 3-2. im bolding tenzai bc he beat xrn and thats my goat
SV UU: Lily vs Separation - UUTL vs non UU starter with no experience in uu and no drafted support in uu. this is a mu of two winless UU slots, between two teams that are probably out, so i'll take the one who plays this tier
SV RU: TheFranklin vs Beraldo - Beraldo is 4-0 in RU and genuinely looks dominant. Franklin finally got his first win and is a shocking 1-4 after entering this tour with a lifetime Sheet record of like 21-9. Ik Beraldo has a ton of respect for Franklin as a player which could lowkey psych him into losing but I believe in him to continue his very strong campaign against a player who has been shaky in SV
SV NU: GXE vs tko - tko is being thrown into his third tier of the tournament already. he did great in LC to start honestly and played pretty well in uu too, so it isnt a skill issue, but i feel like this just might be too many tiers to feasibly keep up with. gxe is a very strong NU player who knows the meta very well, i know danny pretty much ripped one of his HO teams so it's nice to see that the other top players like his stuff. he will probably want to live up to his 28K pricetag as well
SV PU: Mana vs 3d - plays the tier vs doesnt play the tier, refer to UU prediction. Never seen 3d in lower tiers either, and idt they have support there.
SV LC: goldenghost vs Collette - gholdenghost is like 1-8 in scl lc all time and i get the sense his mental is fairly damaged. he did have a brutal beginning schedule this scl, playing like 3 of the top 4 players, and he still played pretty well to navigate to winning positions in most or all of those before choking (by his own admission, i don't mean to be harsh). despite losing last week i just have more trust in collette to play and execute a no-frills game.

SV OU: Gondra vs Rubyblood - Gondra lost his debut to a player who has almost never touched OU before in TNunes, while ruby has been very strong this tour and is currently 4-0.
SV OU: Sylveon used calm mind vs Wolf - Honestly I thought sylv would be doing better than the record reflected, but I know they've struggled from bringing a similar playstyle most weeks like the now-benched Highvoltage. I assume there's probably some exploitable tendencies in there for the mysterious Wolf.
SV OU: Nat vs Welli0u - Nat has only lost vs xavgb and mence who are both top 5 or better in SV OU, also the loss vs mence was insane LMFAO and completely unreplicable... surely she doesnt get involved in the funniest and most insane game of the year twice. well is coming off a loss as well and negative, advantage to nat despite the islanders' strong OU core performance so far this tour
SV Ubers: M Dragon vs Exiline - Very close mu. Mdrag just rolled a guy in 10 turns?? last week which is fucking crazy. him picking up steam is dangerous, i can easily seem him bouncing from his 1-2 record after week 3 to a 7-2 or 6-3 finish. Exiline also played very well, Im thinking particularly of his game vs entro where it felt like he played really solidly but entro was just on another level. Exiline has been good this tour but M Dragon is definitely able to reach that higher level and I favor him to win this. I also fondly remember M Dragon 6-0ing Exiline in his Ubers debut for the Foxes week 1 of SCL I... sadly the foxes lost every other game so the breakers might not want to exactly replicate that but I do think M Drag will win this matchup again.
SV DOU: bage1 vs JRL - just gonna lazily bold against the sub even though ive heard good things about the bagel.
SV UU: umbry vs pdt - what a massive massive highlight oh my god. def a top 3 game of the week for me. 5-0 umbry vs 4-1 pdt, both players are absolutely world class in uu and id be surprised if either ends with more than 2 losses.
SV RU: ishtar vs robjr - ishtar misclicked last week and idt has executed a complete game so far, with a miscue late in her game vs ajna (no judgment for that loss). i know her prior scl campaign hadn't been great either, and she has decent results in individual sv ru stuff/rupl but nothing that moves the needle that much for me. rob has been impressively solid and should close this one out without too much difficulty. also hes like 8-0 against me lifetime so im obligated to bold him always.
SV NU: Elias PSY vs Danny - Elias I owe u an apology. I did not believe in u coming into this tour and judged u too harshly for the weirdness of the techs you used when breaking into the tour scene. Elias has looked great in most of his games despite some shakiness in winning positions (i think he took a suboptimal route but it didnt hurt him), can wildly vary what he uses (though he leans towards fat), and just generally seems hard to plan for. SV PU: gum vs DugZa - Dugza sneak... after the infamous misclick game vs tj (which tbf he did deserve to win) i was very down on him, and after losing last week i did kinda think he'd be subbed out. Gum is gaining comfort and momentum in this tier, could def have been positive if sensei didnt get a very early crit to basically end their game, and is also one of my closest friends so benefits from a lil bias. go gum !
SV LC: tazz vs Hacker - After a weak start to the tour Hacker is quickly picking up momentum. Although none of his last three wins have been against an opponent of tazz's caliber his teams look cutting-edge, bringing new picks like larv wingull and... gible? he looked outright dominant last week and in his game against me (tho i kinda threw that 1 in builder). Tazz is 4-1 and looked equally dominant at the start of the tour before losing 2 weeks ago to consensus #1 LC Scottie. Although it's hard to hold that against him too hard, and this may be an upset, I think Hacker is more on top of the meta + in form right now and I slightly favor him in my LC highlight of the week.

Indigo Platoon (7) vs (3) Mt. Silver Foxes

SV OU: zioziotrip vs mncmt - mence is my GOATTTTT last weeks' game was so fucking funny and idk how a win ever happened there but it did. Mence's games haven't been the absolute cleanest but also he's 13-1 in SV OU officials cmon. Zio's 2-3 start isn't the best but I think he's a talented player and will have lots of help in prep. I like the teams he's brought the losses haven't seemed too damning.... 1 controversial turn vs malekith, iirc a poor mu vs zom, and then some bad luck last week.
SV OU: Achimoo vs Thiago Nunes - I think the michaelderbeste bestie will get a boost similar to what fogbound lake gets from teaming w mind gaming. fog is a more known player than achi but i do think the germans have good chemistry, the up-and-coming germans have proven to be good thru world cup stuff, and mdb having a ton of trust in this guy does convince me to bold him over tnunes despite the latter's nice win in his ou debut last week
SV OU: Finchinator vs mimilimi - finch is 4-1 in SV OU and finally putting together the dominant current gen OU performance he's been seeking for a while, he's had good on-top-of-meta takes like early boots spam+zama, tera ice zapdos, and sd gliscor last week, while most of those arent groundbreaking it tells me he has a good eye for whats good rn. Mimi only has 1 game under his belt and i expect finch to win this, tho it's also possible mence passes him sandaconda dudunsparce paraspam and sets up a classic finch mald
SV Ubers: SiTuM vs Highlord - both are 2-3, im honestly just going off last week where highlord lost in 10 turns while situm put up a strong win w the seemingly broken flutter mane.
SV DOU: Xrn vs Akaru Kokuyo - after beating nails xrn looks genuinely dominant and id bold him against almost anyone
SV UU: McMeghan vs hariyana grande - I love hariyana grande aka frankjosh thats one of my absolute best friends. But in his debut tour he has struggled a bit against the more established players, it's hard to judge a guy for losing to punny umbry and marcop but he has done so and i gotta factor that in. his team against marcop in particular was really weird and im worried his teambuilding attempt to get past mcmeghan will be similarly shaky. mcmeghan started this tour kinda meh but did well against umbry despite some bad luck then looked excellent last week and seems to be rounding back into form.
SV RU: Ajna vs Floss - Predicting a slight "upset" on reputation here. Both are 4-1 and great, losing only to the GOAT justfranco. I think Ajna has been making himself ultra-safe against HO to the point of paranoia in most of his games this tour after last SCL, thought i havent watched his last 2 that closely. Like franco, I think floss will find a way to exploit this. Ajna has put up great results while spamming similar teamstyles so i dont think that point is dispositive but floss is also a very strong player so it just tips him over the edge. worth noting though, last year floss started 4-0 and ended up negative at 4-5. he's started really strong again, but this game vs ajna is a big test to see if he can stay strong and close out a season.
SV NU: MichaelderBeste2 vs Xiri - Mdb hasn't touched nu and ngl im very puzzled by the move. xiri is subbing into it too after togkey seems to have cancered, but I think he's been involved some w sv nu throughout the gen and has played NU in officials before so I think he'll do better at picking it up on short notice
SV PU: Santu vs asa - Santu is a very good player (wow groundbreaking analysis expulso) and asa is making her debut, i think santu knows the tier well enough by now to avoid being out-teched and has all the experience necessary to defeat a first time officials player
SV LC: Scottie vs Éric - Scottie has looked very dominant so far and is the consensus #1 LCer right now. Eric has a strong record of 4-1 but has mostly played the weaker half of the pool until his loss last week, and his first 4 wins generally had a decent amount of luck and weren't as firm as scottie's. it will be very telling how the foxes' LC does in the last half of the schedule; even winning half their games to end 6-3 would be excellent, but imo it's still possible that they end 4-5 after starting 4-0.
