Eh, I mean as a lure I guess it can work, but you wouldn't go full on max special attack Ttar would you? Especially not with Ancient Power.
Ancient Power lets you still deal with Talonflame without having to worry about a miss chance like with Stone Edge and can help you with Bulk Up variants.
Stat-wise, you could still run physical attacks with a Mild Nature or somesuch and still hit hard.

He's also trying to do the same to Darmanitan. And yes, he belongs here. Anyone who thinks fucking Helioisk is OU viable belongs here.
Helio is great in a Sun team (252 SpA Choice Specs Solar Power Heliolisk Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Rotom-W in Sun: 201-237 (66.1 - 77.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery!), but whoever thinks he is usable anywhere else is stupid.

And I know this is doubles, but wow... I found these slaking/deo-d sets and somehow managed to get forfeits with them...

Featuring:
Fighting-type moves against a Fairy-type
Switching in a Gengar after I'd just KO'd their previous Pokémon with Psychic
Offensive Chansey
Quick Claw Gyarados using a negative-priority move
No actual Ubers Pokémon (except maybe Mega Gengar, which didn't Mega Evolve)
Nothing very bulky: Chansey, Multiscale Dragonite and Charizard (which I was using a NVE move on) were the only Pokémon surviving +2 moves from Xerneas.

EDIT: Someone's been using their pre-League cartridge play team! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-132021255

Well, you were kind of mean there at the end. To be honest, aside from special Arcanine and Iron Head Metagross (why Iron Head when Meteor Mash exists?), everything that the opponent used was acceptable. I used Agilitygross in Gen V to some success. Metagross is one of those Pokemon that prompts switches and so can Agility to abuse that. I guess Iron Head was somehow useful there with the flinch haxing from Agility, but I would have still run Meteor Mash for the attack increase.

You on the other hand, left a Ditto, which had very little PP and less HP than Metagross, to try to kill it. Obviously it doesn't appear that it had Earthquake or else you should have used it. And he was VERY skillful using his Mega Banette in my opinion. I mean having both Shadow Sneak and Knock Off is usually a waste, but he used the two attacks the best he could. And the Destiny Bond in the end was pretty much what I've seen more Mega Banette use when it really can't kill the opponent (It wouldn't be able to kill it with Knock Off).

Sometimes, you only need a couple really good Pokemon to take down an entire team.

Someone really should learn on how to use FEAR rattata
Also, that Ditto was awesome specially the part when he tried to use transform on a sub

It does more than lure stuff. It gets MUCH better coverage than physical ttar, and besides there's like no accurate physical rock moves at all.
