Finally had some type to look at the results on this. We got a total of 42 responses, which isn't a
crazy amount, but it at least is enough to get an idea of what those actively checking forum posts/Discord news channel think.
There are a couple of ways to interpret these results. On one hand,
almost a third of respondents think the bo3 slot was a bad feature in OMWC, but on the other hand,
almost 70% either have a positive opinion of bo3 or are indifferent about its existence.
That being said, there were a number (8, to be exact) of write-in responses expressing interest in swapping out the BH slot for another metagame, and MNM/GG were brought up as alternatives.
Overall, only 43% of respondents expressed potential interest in replacing bo3 with Shared Power in team tours, which is not the kind of significant support you'd expect for making [another] major change to tournament format.
Also, there was completely inadequate support for making Shared Power a bo3 slot itself if added, with many write-in responses expressing explicit disapproval for making any new metagame addition a bo3 team tour slot in general. There was a suggestion to trial a Shared Power forum tour at some point to see what it looks like in a competitive environment, which could be worth considering eventually.
Overall,
these results don't show very much support for including Shared Power in our team tours at this time. Also, the lack of consensus on the existing AAA/BH/STAB bo3 split in team tours is enough to warrant giving the slot another try without any more changes. We can re-evaluate afterwards with another survey if the need arises.

- SV Almost Any Ability (AAA)
- SV Balanced Hackmons (BH)
- SV Godly Gift
- SV Inheritance
- SV Mix and Mega
- SV Partners in Crime
- SV STABmons (STAB)
- SV Best-of-three (1 AAA, 1 BH, 1 STAB)
