Seismitoad's ability to outspeed and remove threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Crawdaunt gives it a niche as a Water-immune Pokemon for Ground teams. Compared to its main competition, Gastrodon, Seismitoad trades longevity and walling potential for utility, Speed, and offensive presence. Substitute takes advantage of foes locked into a Water-type move such as Choice Scarf Urshifu-R and Choice Band Barraskewda, as well as passive, status-reliant Pokemon such as Rotom-W and Toxapex. Power Whip deals heavy damage to Water-types, notably KOing Azumarill after it has used Belly Drum, Crawdaunt after Stealth Rock damage, and Urshifu-R after a Close Combat Defense drop. Power Whip also deters Calm Mind Tapu Fini and Keldeo from using Seismitoad as setup fodder. Earthquake threatens Poison- and Steel-types such as Toxapex, Dragalge, and Magnezone. Knock Off deals with Ghost-types and removes items from switch-ins such as Tapu Bulu, Zapdos, and Zarude. 104 Speed EVs with an Adamant nature allow Seismitoad to beat Adamant Crawdaunt and Adamant Azumarill, while the defensive investment lets it survive Close Combat from Choice Band Urshifu-R.

Status, especially Toxic, hinders Seismitoad's ability to pivot against predicted Water-type moves from Urshifu-R and Kingdra. This makes Nidoking an excellent teammate, as it absorbs Toxic Spikes. Nidoking also deals with Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Celesteela and threatens Kommo-o, Tapu Bulu, and Corviknight, which commonly use Seismitoad as setup fodder. Seismitoad's offensive presence makes it a great fit for sand teams, as Choice Band Sand Rush Excadrill appreciates Seismitoad's ability to remove Azumarill and Rotom-W, and in return outspeeds and removes threats such as Kyurem, Zarude, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Lele. Landorus-T provides a Ground-type immunity and can take Grass-type attacks from Zarude and Choice Specs Jirachi. Mamoswine deals with Flying- and Grass-types such as Galarian Moltres, Zapdos, and Tapu Bulu. It also switches into Freeze-Dry from Alolan Ninetales and Kyurem. In return, Seismitoad switches into Scald from Slowbro and Toxapex. Swords Dance Garchomp pressures Dragon- and Flying-types such as Kyurem, Dragonite, and Corviknight as well.

Toxic may be used over anything but Power Whip to pressure Mantine and Slowbro, and Poison Jab makes Seismitoad a Tapu Bulu lure. Scald is also an option to threaten switch-ins such as Tapu Bulu and cripple Pokemon expecting a setup opportunity like Garchomp and Scizor. Assault Vest may be used over Leftovers to handle special attackers such as Kingdra, Tapu Lele, and Tapu Fini better, but the lack of Leftovers recovery lessens Seismitoad's ability to check threats such as Urshifu-R and Azumarill in the long run.

Seismitoad's ability to outspeed and remove threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Crawdaunt makes it a niche Water-type immunity for Ground teams. (We could mention Gastrodon here saying how it is more passive than Seismi as you mention that it's capable to outspeed and eliminate those threats but didn't talked about Gastro) Substitute lets it avoid status from Toxapex, take advantage of foes such as Choice Scarf Urshifu-R and Barraskewda locked into a Water-type move and passive Pokemon such as Rotom-W and Toxapex that are unable to significantly damage it. Power Whip deals heavy damage to Water-types, notably OHKO'ing Azumarill after it has used Belly Drum, Crawdaunt after Stealth Rock damage, and Urshifu-R after a Close Combat Defense drop. Power Whip also deters Calm Mind Tapu Fini and Keldeo from using Seismitoad as setup fodder. Earthquake threatens Poison- and Steel-types such as Toxapex, Dragalgae Dragalge, and Magnezone. Knock Off removes items from switchins such as Tapu Bulu, Zapdos, and Zarude, easing the Fairy, Electric, and Dark matchup for its teammates. (while also hitting Ghost types. but don't make this too long)104 Speed EVs with an Adamant nature allows Seismitoad to outspeed and remove threats such as Adamant Crawdaunt and Adamant Azumarill, while the defensive investment lets it survive a Close Combat from Choice Band Urshifu-R. (and OHKOing it back with PWhip)

Status, especially Toxic, hinders Seismitoad's ability to be a pivot against predicted Water-type moves from Urshifu-R and Kingdra, so Nidoking, which absorbs Toxic Spikes is an excellent teammate. Nidoking also deals with Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Celesteela, and threatens Kommo-o, Tapu Bulu, and Corviknight which can use Seismitoad as setup fodder. Seismitoad's offensive nature makes it a great fit for Sand teams, as Choice Band Excadrill appreciates its ability to remove Azumarill and Rotom-W, and in return outspeeds and removes threats such as Kyurem, Zarude, and Tapu Lele under sand. Landorus-T provides a Ground immunity and can take on Grass-type attacks from Zarude and Choice Specs Jirachi. Mamoswine deals with Flying- and Grass-types such as Galarian Moltres, Zapdos, and Tapu Bulu which Seismitoad cannot handle, and switches into Freeze-Dry from Alolan Ninetales Ninetails and Kyurem. In return, Mamoswine appreciates Seismitoad's ability to switch into Scald from Slowbro and Toxapex. Swords Dance Garchomp pressures Dragon- and Flying-types such as Kyurem, Dragonite, and Corviknight for it.

Toxic may be used over any of the aforementioned moves except Power Whip, as it lets Seismitoad pressure Mantine and Slowbro by putting these in a timer, but comes at the cost of utility or safety against status. (I would mention Poison Jab asw that can helps vs Fairy types and especially Bulu) An Assault Vest may be used over Leftovers, allowing it to handle special attackers such as Kingdra, Tapu Lele, and Tapu Fini better, but the lack of Leftovers recovery harms its ability to check threats such as Urshifu-R and Azumarill in the long run.

I'm not too sure about this, since we're kinda using a -spattack nature. Maybe Poison Jab is already enough?

Scald was implemented though, withholding QC2 until you reply on what to do with Sludge bomb.

Substitute takes advantage of foes locked into a Water-type move such as Choice Scarf Urshifu-R and Choice Band Barraskewda, (comma) as well as passive, status-reliant Pokemon such as Rotom-W and Toxapex. 104 Speed EVs with an Adamant nature allow Seismitoad to beat Adamant Crawdaunt and Adamant Azumarill, while the defensive investment lets it take survive Close Combat from Choice Band Urshifu-R.

Seismitoad's offensive presence makes it a great fit for sand teams, as Choice Band Sand Rush Excadrill appreciates its Seismitoad's ability to remove Azumarill and Rotom-W, and in return outspeeds and removes threats such as Kyurem, Zarude, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Lele.
