Playoff Permutations -

I didn't take into account dead games happening in a series, which could affect permutations (assumed all games will result in a win or loss). It would make the scenarios too complicated/annoying to write out in some specific cases. If you think I got anything else wrong with regards to a team's permutations, just hit me up and I'll amend it.

1. Heavy Metal Highlights, 9 points, +8 (Qualified)

2. Deranged Hustlers, 8 points, +5
  • A win or tie secures playoffs for them, regardless of other results.
  • Losing would make Guardians overtake them, and if at least two of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  1. Illusionists win or tie vs. Slush Rushers
  2. Payloaders win vs. Highlights
  3. Perpetrators win vs. Gluttons
  • If only one of 2 and 3 happen, and Illusionists lose to Slush Rushers as well, then Hustlers need to get as many wins as Illusionists to qualify. If Hustlers get 1 less win (Hustlers 2-6 and Illusionists 3-5 for example), it results in a tiebreak between Hustlers and Illusionists. If Hustlers get 2 less wins (Hustlers 1-7 and Illusionists 3-5 for example), Illusionists would make playoffs directly over them. If both of 2 and 3 happen, or neither of them happen, this point can be ignored.
3. Optical Illusionists, 8 points, +3
  • A win or tie secures playoffs for them, regardless of other results.
  • Losing would make them dependent on other results, and if at least two of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  • Hustlers lose vs. Guardians, but win as many games as the Illusionists (If Hustlers win 1 less game, it results in a tiebreak if only one of the other two scenarios happen) or Hustlers tie vs. Guardians, Illusionists lose 2-6 or worse
  • Payloaders win vs. Highlights
  • Perpetrators win vs. Gluttons
4. Noble Guardians, 7 points, 0
  • A win secures playoffs for them, regardless of other results.
  • A tie would make them dependent on other results, and if at least two of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  • Illusionists win, tie, or lose 3-5 vs. Slush Rushers
  • Payloaders win vs. Highlights
  • Perpetrators win vs. Gluttons
  • A loss would make them dependent on other results, and if at least one of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  • Payloaders win or tie vs Highlights
  • Perpetrators win or tie vs. Gluttons

5. Rocky Mountains' Payloaders, 6 points, +3
  • A win would still make them dependent on other results, if both of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  • Illusionists win or tie vs. Slush Rushers
  • Perpetrators win by a larger margin (if both scenarios happen and Perpetrators win by same margin, it results in a tiebreak between Payloaders and Perpetrators)
  • A tie would make them dependent on other results, if at least one of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  • Guardians win or tie vs. Hustlers
  • Perpetrators win vs. Gluttons (if Guardians lose and Perpetrators tie, it results in a tiebreak between Payloaders and Perpetrators)
  • A loss guarantees that they miss playoffs.

5. Punk Rock Perpetrators, 6 points, +3
  • A win would still make them dependent on other results, if both of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  • Illusionists win or tie vs. Slush Rushers
  • Payloaders win by a larger margin (if both scenarios happen and Payloaders win by same margin, it results in a tiebreak between Perpetrators and Payloaders)
  • A tie would make them dependent on other results, if at least one of the following results happen, they would miss playoffs -
  • Guardians win or tie vs. Hustlers
  • Payloaders win vs. Highlights (if Guardians lose and Perpetrators tie, it results in a tiebreak between Perpetrators and Payloaders)
  • A loss guarantees that they miss playoffs.
