Metagross has proven itself to be one of the most powerful wallbreakers in the RU tier, being able to use its natural bulk, powerful STAB attacks, and great coverage to switch in and power through many of the balance cores that inhabit the metagame. Meteor Mash is a powerful attack that has a chance to rais Metagross's already high Attack, which helps it break through many of the Pokemon that try to spam recovery moves against it. Earthquake deals with Steel-types like Registeel and opposing Metagross, Electric-types like Raikou, and Fire-types like Ninetales that resist Meteor Mash. Thunder Punch rounds out Metagross's coverage, allowing it to hit Slowbro and Golisopod super effectively, and Bullet Punch provides Metagross with some priority to compensate for its middling Speed tier. Metagross works especially well on teams that appreciate its wallbreaking potential, so cleaners like Salazzle, Zygarde-10%, and Toxicroak are all optimal partners.

(natural bulk doesn't improve Metagross's ability to wallbreak directly. I think my changes reflect what you were going for, but adjust if they don't ofc) Meteor Mash is a powerful attack that has a chance to raise Metagross' Metagross's already powerful attack high Attack (just trying to not repeat adjectives too immediately here), which helps it break through many of the Pokemon that try to spam recovery moves against Metagross it. Earthquake deals with Steel-types like Registeel and opposing Metagross, Electric-types like Raikou, and Fire-types like Ninetales that resist Meteor Mash. Thunder Punch rounds out Metagross' Metagross's coverage, allowing it to hit Slowbro and Golisopod super effectively, and Bullet Punch provides Metagross with some priority to compensate for its middling speed Speed tier.
