- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Nasty Plot / Will-O-Wisp

Rotom-W is ready to pivot spam the opponent into the washer! Choice Scarf Rotom-W outpaces and threatens Starmie, Mamoswine, and +1 Feraligatr, and it forces the opponent to play a dangerous guessing game: will they block Volt Switch by switching in a Ground-type and risk getting hit by Hydro Pump or burnt by Will-O-Wisp, or will they let Rotom-W get away for free? Trick cripples common switch-ins like Tangrowth, Clefable, and Blissey. Nasty Plot affords Rotom-W great late-game sweeping potential after Trick, using its excellent bulk and defensive typing to tank a hit and fire back even harder; it also gives Rotom-W a particularly good matchup against stall. Will-O-Wisp debilitates physical attackers Rotom-W cannot immediately pressure like Breloom, Garchomp, Scizor, and Dragonite. Scizor is an excellent partner, forming a powerful VoltTurn core with Rotom-W and importantly switching into Latios. Physical wallbreakers like Breloom, Weavile, and Crawdaunt appreciate the free switch Volt Switch provides; Breloom and Weavile particularly enjoy Rotom-W pressuring Skarmory, while Crawdaunt can lure and surprise Tangrowth with Sludge Bomb.

i feel the sentence ending “…..attempt to block Volt Switch by switching in a Ground-type.” is written halfway, mention how the grounds hate a wisp / hydro smtg like “..attempt to block Volt Switch by switching in a Ground-type and risk getting burnt or taking a Hydro Pump”.

remove gastro from trick mentions since it specifically runs sticky hold for tricktom, 0 reason to run water absorb bc the waters either break it or dont even with it, doesnt change any mus, possibly swap it with unaclef since that beats plot if its not tricked but im fine if u leave it with just bliss and tang

mention with trickplot specifically you cuck stall, and with wisp you perform as a better soft check to the likes of Garchomp and Scizor

mention vile and daunt as partners bc they especially love the pivoting + they take advantage of so many of the stuff tom is forced out by, and in viles case tom takes care of skarm and in craws case craw can potentially lure and KO tangrowth with sludge for tom

this shld be fine 1/1

Rotom-W is ready to pivot spam (removed hyphen) the opponent into the washer! Choice Scarf Rotom-W outpaces and threatens Starmie, Mamoswine, and +1 Feraligatr, and it forces the opponent to play a dangerous guessing game as to whether they want to attempt to game: will they block Volt Switch by switching in a Ground-type and risk getting hit by Hydro Pump or burnt by Will-O-Wisp, or will they let Rotom-W get away for free? (or something like this imo) Trick cripples common switch-ins like Tangrowth, Clefable, and Blissey. Nasty Plot affords Rotom-W great late-game sweeping potential after Trick, using its excellent bulk and defensive typing to tank a hit and fire back even harder; this notably it also gives Rotom-W a particularly good matchup into against stall. Will-O-Wisp debilitates physical attackers Rotom-W cannot immediately pressure like Breloom, Garchomp, Scizor, and Dragonite. Scizor is an excellent partner, as it forms forming a powerful VoltTurn core with Rotom-W and, importantly, switches and importantly switching into Latios. Physical wallbreakers like Breloom, Weavile, and Crawdaunt appreciate the free switch Volt Switch provides; Breloom and Weavile particularly enjoy Rotom-W's ability to pressure Rotom-W pressuring Skarmory, while Crawdaunt can lure surprise Tangrowth with Sludge Bomb.

Character Count: 961 (1k not a hard and fast rule btw but im of the persuasion that most spotlights over it happen to be more wordy than needed or cover unnecessarily basic info)
