Bouffalant you have 24 hours to show a progress or it'll be reassigned. Also if you weren't able to keep working on this for whatever reason you still should've said something, zzz

Overview
########

  • Massive HP, Attack, and Defense
  • Gets great STAB in the Edgequake combo
  • Access to boosting moves like Rock Polish
  • Good support movepool coupled with a great ability makes it one of the premier SR setters in the meta
  • Huge weakness to Water and Grass types, as well as Ground and Fighting
  • Pitiful Special Defense and Speed

Tank
########
name: Tank
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Stone Edge / Rock Blast
move 4: Roar
ability: Solid Rock
item: Leftovers
evs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SpD
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

  • Stealth Rock can be easily set up due to Rhyperior's great natural HP and Defense
  • Earthquake is a strong and reliable STAB that does lots of damage due to Rhyperior's good natural attack
  • Stone Edge is also very powerful, forming the Edgequake combo having great coverage in the meta
  • Rock Blast is an alternative STAB option breaking through subs and Focus Sashes and has better accuracy
  • Roar phazes out sweepers and racks up SR damage.

Set Details
========

  • The EV distribution lets Rhyperior take special hits as well as possible while also hitting a Leftovers number
  • Leftovers lets it get residual recovery each turn
  • Adamant Nature lets Rhyperior have a bit more of an offensive approach

Usage Tips
========

Since Rhyperior can force a lot of switches, and has a good amount of bulk, it can set up Stealth Rock fairly easily early-game. It can switch in on a lot of normally powerful Pokemon, like Darmanitan or Honchkrow, and easily force them out, which can also let Rhyperior set up rocks or phaze to rack up hazard damage.

Team Options
========

  • Grass types, particularly Roserade, who forces out both Grass and Water types and can set up Spikes to increase the effectiveness of Rhyperior's shuffling
  • Rotom-H resists Grass-types, and can threaten out both Grass and Water types with its STABs.
  • Spinblockers, such as Sableye, are good to have as it can deal with a large portion of hazard cleaners, barring Starmie and Mega Blastoise

Choice Band
########
name: Choice Band
move 1: Stone Edge
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Megahorn
move 4: Rock Blast / Aqua Tail
ability: Solid Rock
item: Choice Band
evs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 160 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

  • Stone Edge is the primary Rock STAB, as it hits Flying-types like Aerodactyl, and Levitaters like Azelf and Rotom-H, who are immune to Earthquake
  • Earthquake is the Ground-type STAB, which forms the infamous EdgeQuake combo and hits common types in the meta, mainly Fire-types and Steel-types.
  • Megahorn hits Grass-types like Celebi, Shaymin, and Tangrowth, and also hits Psychic-types like Mew and Slowbro, who can handle Rhyp's STABs with relative ease.
  • Rock Blast has better accuracy than Stone Edge, and can break through Sashes and Substitutes. However, the decrease in power is notable.
  • Aqua Tail is mainly for opposing Rhyperior, who can tank incoming Earthquakes, as well as Gligar, who brushes off Rhyperior's moves with ease.

Set Details
========

  • The EV spread lets Rhyperior outspeed uninvested Swampert, Empoleon, and Scrafty, while the rest of the EVs are invested into HP and Attack.
  • Adamant is used to increase Rhyperior's Attack; however, if using Rhyperior on Trick Room then Brave Nature can be used instead.

Usage Tips
========

  • This set is one of the best stallbreakers in the tier, as it has great STAB combo and can smash through key components of bulky teams, like Florges, Slowbro, and Mew with those moves. Due to Rhyperior hitting 624 Attack after the CB boost, there are very few things that can reliably switch into it, and those that can, mainly Gligar, are hit by Aqua Tail.
