Tournament Random Battles Team Tour 7: Announcements and Administrative Decisions

Here all the important stuff goes.
The coding team is aware of the issue in Battle Factory that allows multiple Choice Scarf users to be generated on a team. This will be fixed by the next server patch.

Gen 9, Gen 9 Doubles, Gen 7, Gen 6, Gen 5, and Gen 4 have all been updated just now. Gens 9 and 5 each have a very large number of changes. It would be a good idea for players in the tournament to familiarize themselves with these changes before playing their games. This patch is live.
For future reference, patch timing cannot be controlled finely by the hosts or the rands developers. However, we will do our best to make sure the patches come at reasonable times in between weeks. In any future waiting time between an update being merged and patched, do be warned that external Random Battles tools may use the updated data, and not the data of the battle you're actually playing. Use common sense and check if something seems off.
The next update is planned for around the 31st and will contain level balancing for all formats. Please schedule your games with this in mind.
Gen 9, Gen 9 Doubles, Gen 7, Gen 6, Gen 5, and Gen 4 have all been updated just now. Gens 9 and 5 each have a very large number of changes. It would be a good idea for players in the tournament to familiarize themselves with these changes before playing their games. This patch is live.

Situation: on Jan 29, blade (GMT-4) and Michael (unspecified, but typically GMT+1) communicated via PS DM. Michael first suggested approx 8pm GMT-4, which blade declined; they then agreed to play "tomorrow" at an unspecified time. On Jan 30, they once again tried to find a time; at 3:46pm GMT-4, Michael suggested they play in 28 hours (approx 7:30-8pm GMT-4), to which blade agreed. On Jan 31, contact hadn't been initiated by either player until long after the specified time; when they finally did communicate, blade said he no longer wanted to play, and wanted to reschedule. Michael revealed that he cannot play the rest of the week, as he's traveling.
Decision: Given the spotty and unreliable scheduling/communication by both parties, a double substitution will be enforced; Team Chi-Yu and Team Darkrai must both provide a substitute for pokeblade101 and MichaelderBeste2, respectively.
