Welcome to the FINALS of RBEL, The tournament where 6 4 2 teams are left standing at the most extended week of the league - The Iron Leg supercomputer, favoured by Retired Hoenn Champion Steven, or the chonky mailman dragon, favourite of Indigo Elite Four Lance!

All matches are Best-Of-Three.

Mystery Box is different for Playoffs:

Mystery Box Matches will be a best-of-three. The first battle will be Gen 9 Random Battles, and then the loser of each match picks the next format from the list of Mystery Box formats below:

Standard Tournament Procedures
Like all other tournaments on Smogon, the Random Battles Extension League will follow the general rules and guidelines. Please read them carefully. Also note that replays are required.

On Ghosting

What constitutes ghosting in a Random Battles game can be a particularly fine line, so before commenting in a RBEL game, always ask yourself: “Would my comment reveal information that hasn’t already been explicitly revealed in this battle?” Examples of ghosting include suggesting that an unexpectedly fast Pokemon might be holding a Choice Scarf, that a mon going back to full HP without reason is likely a Zoroark, etc.

Gen 9 Random Battle (2): henguinie vs LpZ > Drifting is hyping up henguinie as a great newcomer but I think they need a bit more experience to make the next step

Gen 8 Random Battle: I love Bagon vs Sulo > msua is pretty good at this gen

Gen 7 Random Battle: Elgino vs Estuardo19 > Elgino overslept in the previous round so he could come back in top form for this match

Gen 6 Random Battle: Drifting vs Mirbro > Like for rbtt, the first seeded team lost in semis. I want to find another trend between the competitions and that's why I predict we'll have two undefeated players, one per team (two australians!)

Gen 5 Random Battle: ninjadog vs Perish Song > Perish is having a historical run of good luck but we all know that in Pokemon you need to connect your moves. A real ninja can boost his evasiveness and dodge everything and that's what is going to happen here
