Does Magic Bounce trigger Sleep Clause?
Like, if I reflected a Spore/Hypnosis, and they already had something asleep, what would happen?
Did the Chansey have Natural Cure? If it did, then it would have woken up when it was switched out.Tested this in Showdown, apparently it counts as self-induced sleep and hence, it does not break sleep clause.

I've seen a lot more Thundurus-Therian on the ladder recently. Was there anything it got that made it more viable, or is it just coincidence?
Probably coincidence. Tbolt, HP Ice, Focus Blast, Volt Switch for its scarf set. Tbolt, HP Ice, Nasty Plot, Agility for its Double Dance set. You can also run fillers with a support move as well such as Grass Knot + Hp Flying, or Psychic to hit M-Venusaur. Team needs really.^and what is the moveset it runs? Tbolt/hp ice/??/?? are the last 2 focus blas and volt switch
See, this is why you don't test things at 3AM in the morning. Thanks for pointing it out dude. Edited the original OP. It actually does activate Sleep Clause.Did the Chansey have Natural Cure? If it did, then it would have woken up when it was switched out.
I dont know the answer, but that question is better asked here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/ask-a-simple-question-get-a-simple-answer-pu-edition.3527254/Quick question: will the Smogon Dex account for PU someday?
It's not so much about a steel weakness more than the fact you have the luxury to eliminate defensive steel types. I still think Magnet Pull is the superior option to begin with.Does magnezone have any use as a choice specs analytic wallbreaker? That's how I'm using him now. I just think he's so predictable otherwise (as a steel trapper), and my team doesn't have any weakness whatsoever to steel. Thoughts?
Analytic isnt really the most optimal ability, trapper zone might be predictable, but how are you going to stop it from trapping your mons anyway. There actually is some merit to using analytic, many people, even top tour players, dont bother to check if theyre trapped, meaning you can bluff the ability while getting a power boost, if its a risk you want to take.Does magnezone have any use as a choice specs analytic wallbreaker? Sounds like an other meta. I would talk to unfixable or someone else in the Other Metas subforum about this (only tagging unfix because he frequents OU).They should make a Tier where you can only use all Pokemon of a certain colour group:
Some notable Pokemon in each colour group:
Red: Charizard, Scizor, Latias, Rotom, Bisharp, Talonflame
Blue: Gyarados, Azumarill, Altaria, Heracross, Metagross, Latios, Garchomp, Thundurus
Yellow: Beedrill, Zapdos, Moltres, Shuckle, Raikou, Manectric, Jirachi, Victini, Keldeo
Green: Venusaur, Tyranitar, Sceptile, Breloom, Chesnaught, Hawlucha, Zygarde
Black: Umbreon, Vivillon, Chandelure, Dusknoir, Honchkrow, Weavile, Houndoom, Snorlax
Brown: Pidgeot, Alakazam, Pinsir, Dragonite, Lopunny, Mamoswine, Heatran, Landorus, Mandibuzz
Purple: Cloyster, Gengar, Crobat, Starmie, Ditto, Aerodactyl, Sableye, Gliscor, Hoopa, Gothitelle
Gray: Machamp, Skarmory, Aggron, Magnezone, Rhyperior, Excadrill, Ferrothorn, Terrakion, Klefki
White: Smeargle, Gardevoir, Absol, Togekiss, Gallade, Amoongus, Volcarona, Florges
Pink: Clefable, Slowbro, Chansey, Alomomola, Sylveon, Diancie
How do you guys think it would play out? Which colour, in your oppinion, would be best or worse?
Sub-optimal is putting it lightly lol. Giga Drain, Solarbeam, Memento, Encore, Leech Seed are options.I'm toying with a lead Jumpluff set for a sun team;
Jumpluff @ Heat Rock
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sunny Day
- U-turn
- Sleep Powder
- ???
What could go in the last slot? I was thinking a STAB, maybe Giga Drain. This is for OU, by the way (I get that Jumpluff is suboptimal but I want to use something unorthodox). The idea is to sleep their lead, set up Sunny Day and pivot out to something else.
Yeah, I thought of this idea a while back, and while it would be a lot of fun, some colors would have a huge advantage over others due to their wider variety, also, on mono green pretty much everything is weak to either Fire or Bug :(They should make a Tier where you can only use all Pokemon of a certain colour group:

What's included in 'etc.'? Just fairy types?Sorry to double post, but are their ANY Pokemon who can RELIABLY even come close to 2-hit KOing mega Sableye who ARE NOT mega evolutions themselves? (And not Clefable, Sylveon, etc I already know these ones.)
Well on top of the two you mentioned and the ones Kurona mentioned, there's also Entei, Talonflame, Azumarill (assuming no burn) and Togekiss.Sorry to double post, but are their ANY Pokemon who can RELIABLY even come close to 2-hit KOing mega Sableye who ARE NOT mega evolutions themselves? (And not Clefable, Sylveon, etc I already know these ones.)
252+ Atk Life Orb Excadrill Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mega Sableye: 148-175 (48.6 - 57.5%) -- 95.3% chance to 2HKOSorry to double post, but are their ANY Pokemon who can RELIABLY even come close to 2-hit KOing mega Sableye who ARE NOT mega evolutions themselves? There are many special attackers that can easily 2HKO Mega Sableye, namely Keldeo, Thundurus, Landorus, specs Raikou, CM and Tail Glow Manaphy(requires to set up, but it can do so easily against Mega Sableye), and Tornadus.Sorry to double post, but are their ANY Pokemon who can RELIABLY even come close to 2-hit KOing mega Sableye who ARE NOT mega evolutions themselves? Guts CB Heracross. Doesn't mind switching-in on Wisp, and can be really difficult to check in general. Really only a healthy Gliscor or Clefable can tank a hit from it.Sorry to double post, but are their ANY Pokemon who can RELIABLY even come close to 2-hit KOing mega Sableye who ARE NOT mega evolutions themselves? Not too sure on what HP Lando runs, so I'll do the maximum damage possible. What are some good offensive NON-Mega mons capable of dealing with scarf lando? I know they're out there, just drawing a blank at the moment...
