[SET COMMENTS]
Nihilego carves out a niche, utilizing its great coverage and snowballing ability to be a notable sweeper. Meteor Beam + Power Herb lets it gain a power boost while firing off a strong STAB move. Sludge Wave's higher power is preferred to secure KOs after boosting, but Sludge Bomb is an alternative that trades a bit of power for a higher chance to poison the target, which may prove useful in longer games. Thunderbolt hits Toxapex, Corviknight, and Skarmory hard, while Hidden Power Fire allows Nihilego to break through Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor. Hidden Power Ice can be used to hit Ground-types not weak to Grass Knot, such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Gliscor. However, Grass Knot will often be Nihilego's strongest option against bulky Ground-types, such as Hippowdon and Gastrodon. While Hidden Power Ice's targets tend to be more common, they usually do not have reliable recovery, while Grass Knot's targets do and are harder to wear down. The given EV spread ensures Beast Boost raises Nihilego's Speed after each KO.

Nihilego fits best on offensive teams in need of a late game sweeper. Teammates that can deal with bulky Ground-types such as Garchomp and Excadrill are greatly appreciated. Landorus-T is a good answer to these Pokemon that can also provide U-turn support to help Nihilego enter the field safely. Landorus-T also provides entry hazards and threatens Steel-types that Nihilego can't break through, even wearing down Ferrothorn with Knock Off and Earthquake. Magnezone can help trap Kartana not locked into Sacred Sword, as well as certain bulky Steel-types such as Melmetal and Mega Scizor, all of which threaten Nihilego. As many of Nihilego's checks lack reliable recovery and/or are greatly pressured by Spikes, entry hazard support from Ferrothorn, Mew, and Greninja is appreciated. In particular, many bulky Steel-types that trouble Nihilego such as Heatran and Melmetal are quickly worn down by repeatedly switching into Spikes. Tapu Lele is a strong wallbreaker that can overwhelm some of Nihilego's Steel-type enemies over time, while also providing Psychic Terrain support to block priority attacks such as Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor, Water Shuriken from Ash-Greninja, and Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Pain Split enables Nihilego to heal versus Chansey and Blissey as it tries to gain enough Meteor Beam boosts to eventually break through them. However, this sacrifices valuable coverage that Nihilego needs to break through its other switch-ins. Hidden Power Ground is an option to help Nihilego lure and destroy specially defensive Heatran, but is generally inferior to Nihilego's other coverage options. A Choice Scarf set with maximum Special Attack investment has late-game sweeping potential, although its lack of power before a boost makes it generally outclassed by other Choice Scarf users with more immediate power, such as Kartana. In terms of utility for Nihilego, Knock Off cripples switch-ins like Chansey and Ferrothorn by removing their items, making them easier to break through for Nihilego and its teammates. Nihilego can also opt for entry hazards in the form of Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock to further wear down its checks, but is ultimately outclassed by other entry hazard setters like Heatran and Toxapex.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Revenge Killers**: Nihilego's subpar defensive typing makes it a prime target for priority users. Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor and Mega Medicham, Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R, Sucker Punch from Mega Mawile, and Water Shuriken from Ash-Greninja can all easily revenge kill Nihilego. In addition, Choice Scarf Kartana can revenge kill Nihilego even after a Speed boost.

**Ground-Types**: Ground-types such as Gliscor, Garchomp, Hippowdown, and Gastrodon resist Nihilego's STAB combination and OHKO it with Earthquake. Even with super effective coverage, an unboosted Nihilego cannot typically OHKO these Ground-types and is forced to switch out. However, the Special Attack boost from Meteor Beam makes a potential Hidden Power Ice or Grass Knot notably more threatening to their respective targets.

**Steel-Types**: Steel-types like specially defensive Heatran, Mega Scizor, Magnezone, Ferrothorn, and Excadrill don't fear Nihilego's standard coverage much and can force it to switch. Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor must watch out for Hidden Power Fire, however, while Excadrill, Magnezone, and Heatran can be worn down by hazards and repeated attacks.

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Blissey and Chansey have immense special bulk and have the potential to wall Nihilego entirely. However, they must KO it with Seismic Toss quickly or else Nihilego may aquire enough boosts to break through them. A properly positioned Toxapex can also use Haze to remove Nihilego's boosts.

Nihilego carves out a small niche, utilizing its great coverage and snowballing ability to be a notable sweeper. Meteor Beam alongside Power Herb lets it gain a good power boost, while getting off a strong STAB move. In some situations, it can even try using it again without Power Herb if the scenario arises for another boost or if a specific target is weak to it. with its unique combination of Power Herb, Beast Boost, and STAB Meteor Beam. With Power Herb, Meteor Beam is a one-time 120 base power STAB move that raises Nihilego's Special Attack by one stage, giving it the necessary power to clean teams in conjunction with Beast Boost raising its Speed. Also mention some targets Meteor Beam can take advantage if/hit. Sludge Wave is Nihilego's primary STAB attack after boosting, and hits many important Pokemon such as Clefable, Tapu Lele, and Tapu Koko super effectively. Sludge Bomb is an alternative to Sludge Wave that trades a bit of power for a higher chance to poison the target. The rest of Nihilego's moves are customizable and will depend heavily on what its team needs. You typically don't need to explain what STAB moves do or hit, in this specific scenario you can just write a sentence stating the difference between both Poison moves. Thunderbolt hits Toxapex, Corviknight, and Skarmory hard, while Hidden Power Fire allows Nihilego to break through Ferrothorn and weakened Excadrill. Mention the tradeoff between both moves. Grass Knot will often be Nihilego's strongest option against bulky Ground-types, such as Hippowdon and Mega Swampert, which tend to be heavy. Alternatively, Hidden Power Ice can be used to hit Ground-types not weak to Grass, such as Landorous-T, Garchomp, and Gliscor. Mention tradeoff between both moves + re organize to reflect set change. The given EV spread ensures Beast Boost raises Nihilego's Speed after each kill. The remaining EVs are placed into Defense to allow Nihilego to take weak physical attacks at full health such as Bullet Punch from specially defensive Mega Scizor. A Timid nature is preferred to outspeed important threats such as Tapu Lele, max speed Landorus-T, and base 100 Speed Pokemon. You don't really need to explain maxed evs.

Pain Split enables Nihilego to heal in the face of Chansey or Blissey's Seismic Toss and obtain multiple Meteor Beam boosts to eventually break through. Hidden Power Ground is an option to help Nihilego lure and destroy specially defensive Heatran. However, it is generally inferior to Nihilego's other coverage options. Nihilego can serve as an entry hazard setter with Stealth Rock and/or Toxic Spikes. If Nihilego is not running Power Herb and Meteor Beam, it should run Black Sludge instead. Defensive sets don't check anything special in this metagame. Choice Scarf with maximum Special Attack investment is an option that can clean late game with Beast Boost. However, it is very weak unboosted and is generally outclassed by other Choice Scarf users such as Kartana.

**Revenge Killers**: Due to Nihilego's poor physical bulk, fast Choice Scarf users such as Kartana, as well as priority attacks from Mega Scizor, Urshifu-R, and Mega Medicham, can take it out even after a Speed boost.

**Ground-Types**: Ground-types such as Excadrill, Gliscor, Hippowdown, Gastrodon, and Garchomp resist Nihilego's STAB combination and can easily demolish it with a 4x effective Earthquake. However, they need to be wary of potential coverage moves. Clarify what coverage move that would be.

**Steel-Types**: Steel-types such as specially defensive Heatran, Jirachi, and Ferrothorn take little from Nihilego's STAB moves don't fear Nihilego much and can threaten it out or lay hazards against Nihilego's team. Ferrothorn must watch out for Hidden Power Fire, however.

**Special Walls Blissey and Chansey**: Pokemon with immense special bulk such as Blissey and Chansey take little from Nihilego's attacks and can wall it entirely.

As a general note I think you explained basic stuff too much. In C&C you have to assume the reader knows the basic of Competitive Pokemon and focus on writing about more advanced stuff they may not be aware of, like specific interactions, checks and counters, etc.

However, you sacrifice valuable coverage like Thunderbolt or Grass Knot, which makes your matchup into Pokemon like Corviknight or Gastrodon significantly worse. Power Gem can be run in order to immediately threaten Flying-types like Zapdos, but this runs into the same problems as Pain Split; losing out on crucial coverage. Knock Off annoys switch-ins like Chansey and Ferrothorn by removing their items, making them easier to break through for Nihilego and its teammates. Entry hazards in the form of Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock can be helpful in further wearing down checks, but is ultimately outclassed by other entry hazard setters like Heatran and Toxapex. Hidden Power Ground is an option to help Nihilego lure and destroy specially defensive Heatran. However, it is generally inferior to Nihilego's other coverage options. Choice Scarf with maximum Special Attack investment is an option that can clean late game with Beast Boost. However, it is very weak unboosted and is generally outclassed by other Choice Scarf users such as Kartana.

**Revenge Killers**: Due to Nihilego's poor physical bulk, fast Choice Scarf users such as Kartana can take it out even after a Speed boost.

**Priority Moves**: Nihilego's subpar defensive typing can be taken advantage of by priority users. Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor, Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R, Sucker Punch from Mega Mawile, and Water Shuriken from Ash-Greninja can all easily revenge kill Nihilego

**Ground-Types**: Ground-types such as Gliscor, Garchomp, Hippowdown, and Gastrodon resist Nihilego's STAB combination and can easily demolish it with a 4x effective Earthquake. However, they need to be wary of potential coverage moves such as Hidden Power Ice in the case of the first two and Grass Knot in the case of the latter two.

**Steel-Types**: Steel-types such as specially defensive Heatran, Excadrill, Jirachi, and Ferrothorn Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Excadrill don't fear Nihilego much and can threaten it out. Ferrothorn must watch out for Hidden Power Fire, however, and Excadrill and Heatran can be worn down.

**Blissey and Chansey**: Blissey and Chansey have immense special bulk and Pokemon with immense special bulk such as Blissey and Chansey (tried to make this sound more about bliss and chans themselves) take little from Nihilego's attacks and can wall it entirely.

[SET COMMENTS]
Nihilego carves out a small niche, utilizing its great coverage and snowballing ability to be a notable sweeper. Meteor Beam alongside Power Herb lets it gain a good power boost, while getting off a strong STAB move. However, Hidden Power Fire is much weaker than Thunderbolt against Corviknight and will force Nihilego to use Meteor Beam against Toxapex, which can be exploited if the Power Herb is already burned. The given EV spread ensures Beast Boost raises Nihilego's Speed after each kill.

Nihilego fits best on offensive teams in need of a late game win condition. Magnezone can help trap Choice Scarf Kartana not locked into Sacred Sword, as well as certain bulky Steel-types such as Melmetal and Mega Scizor, all of which threaten Nihilego. As many of Nihilego's checks lack reliable recovery and/or are greatly pressured by Spikes, entry hazard support from Ferrothorn, Mew, or Greninja is appreciated. In particular, many bulky Steel-types that trouble Nihilego such as Heatran and Melmetal will be quickly worn down by repeatedly switching into Spikes. Tapu Lele is a strong wallbreaker that can overwhelm some of Nihilego's checks, such as Heatran, over time, Steel-type enemies overtime while also providing Psychic Terrain support to block priority attacks such as Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor or Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R. Mention shuriken from gren too.

Nihilego carves out a small niche, utilizing its great coverage and snowballing ability to be a notable sweeper (If it's notable, is it really a small niche? Not a huge deal, but seems like a contradiction). Meteor Beam alongside + Power Herb lets it gain a good power boost,(comma) while getting firing off a strong STAB move. Pain Split enables Nihilego to heal in the face of versus Chansey or and Blissey as it tries to gain enough and obtain multiple Meteor Beam boosts to eventually break through them. However, this sacrifices valuable coverage that Nihilego needs to break through its other switch-ins. that can cost it greatly against certain targets, depending on which move was dropped. (Since the "certain targets" weren't specified, this is more concise) Hidden Power Ground is an option to help Nihilego lure and destroy specially defensive Heatran, but. However, it is generally inferior to Nihilego's other coverage options. A Choice Scarf set with maximum Special Attack investment is an option that can has late-game sweeping potential, although its lack of power before a boost makes it clean late game with Beast Boost. However, it is very weak unboosted and is generally outclassed by other Choice Scarf users with more immediate power,(comma) such as Kartana. Nihilego's coverage options do not greatly threaten most Pokemon when not boosted. (This seemed unnecessary since you already said it's weak w/o boosts, and if I understood intent correctly this helps make the point that other scarfers tend to be stronger right out of the gate) In terms of utility for Nihilego, Knock Off annoys cripples switch-ins like Chansey and Ferrothorn by removing their items, making them easier to break through for Nihilego and its teammates. Nihilego can also opt for Eentry hazards in the form of Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock can be helpful in to further wearing down its checks, but is ultimately outclassed by other entry hazard setters like Heatran and Toxapex.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Revenge Killers**: Nihilego's subpar defensive typing can be taken advantage of by makes it a prime target for priority users. Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor or and Mega Medicham, Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R, Sucker Punch from Mega Mawile, and Water Shuriken from Ash-Greninja can all easily revenge kill Nihilego. In addition, Choice Scarf Kartana can revenge kill Nihilego even after a Speed boost.

**Ground-Types**: Ground-types such as Gliscor, Garchomp, Hippowdown, and Gastrodon resist Nihilego's STAB combination and OHKO it with can easily demolish it with a 4x effective Earthquake. If Nihilego is unboosted, will generally be unable to OHKO these Ground-types even with the right super effective coverage, allowing them to force Nihilego out. Even with super effective coverage, an unboosted Nihilego cannot typically OHKO these Ground-types and is forced to switch out. However, the Special Attack boost from Meteor Beam makes a potential Hidden Power Ice or Grass Knot notably more threatening to their respective targets. after a boost they need to be wary of potential coverage moves such as Hidden Power Ice in the case of the first two and Grass Knot in the case of the latter two.

**Steel-Types**: Steel-types such as like specially defensive Heatran, Mega Scizor, Magnezone, Ferrothorn, and Excadrill don't fear Nihilego's standard coverage much and can force it to switch. threaten it out. Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor must watch out for Hidden Power Fire, however, while Excadrill, Magnezone, and Heatran can be worn down. (worn down by what? it seems like an incomplete thought)

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Blissey and Chansey have immense special bulk and have the potential to wall Nihilego entirely., take little from Nihilego's attacks, and can wall it entirely. However, they must knock it out KO it with Seismic Toss quickly or else Nihilego may aquire enough boosts to break through them. With some smart pivoting, A properly positioned Toxapex can also use Haze to remove Nihilego's boosts.(period)
