evs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Set Description
========

- Iron Defense allows Necrozma to boost its physical bulk enabling it to handle Rillaboom, Landorus-T, and Aggron.
- Calm Mind allows Necrozma to boost its Special Defense while also increasing the power of Stored Power through increases in Base Power and Special Attack raises.
- Stored Power lets Necrozma take advantage of its boosts and break through Pokemon that resist it, such as Celesteela and Ferrothorn.
- Moonlight is Necrozma's primary source of recovery and helps it take hits from Galarian Darmanitan and Timid Choice Specs Naganadel.

EVs
========
- 248 HP alongside 164 Def with a Bold nature allow Necrozma to tank Icicle Crash from Choice Band Galarian Darmanitan twice.
- 248 HP alongside 96 SpD gives Necrozma a good chance against Modest Choice Specs Naganadel.

Usage Tips
========

- The general strategy is to boost either Necrozma's physical or special bulk depending on what type of attacker it is facing while simultaneously boosting the base power of Stored Power.
- Use Moonlight whenever Necrozma gets too low hp to allow it to continue setting up.
- Then, you can either stall them out to put them in range to where Stored Power is capable of KOing.
- It should also be sent against other Calm Mind users such as Primarina or non-Taunt Tapu Lele.
Necrozma has a good matchup against most Naganadel variants. Necrozma can lose if it is a Life Orb variant and chooses to run either Laser Focus or Nasty Plot.

move 3: Heat Wave
move 4: Earth Power / Earthquake / Dark Pulse
item: Choice Specs
ability: Prism Armor
nature: Modest
evs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 92 SpA / 20 SpD

[SETS COMMENT]
Set Description
========
- Prismatic Laser is Necrozma's most potent attack, completely decimating Pokemon such as Choice Band Regidraco, Choice Band Landorus-T, Aromatisse, and non-Custap Berry Garchomp.
- Photon Geyser is a secondary STAB attack with the notable advantage of not requiring a recharge turn and ignoring abilities such as Sawk, Avalugg, and Crustle's Sturdy.
- Heat Wave gives Necrozma the ability to hit Steel-types such as Celesteela and Ferrothorn, which would resist its STAB moves as well as beat Rillaboom more reliably.
- Earth Power allows Necrozma to hit Fire-types for more damage, such as Assault Vest Arcanine and non-Air Balloon Heatran.
- Earthquake can be used to secure the Magnezone matchup as u can lose to Mirror Coat if ran.
- Dark Pulse can be run to have better odds against opposing Necrozma as well as choice itemed Cresselia.

EVs
=============
- 252 HP combined with 144 Defense investments let Necrozma tank a Fake Out into a Wood Hammer from Life Orb Rillaboom.
- The Special Defense, alongside the aforementioned HP investments, also helps Necrozma against Timid Naganadel.
- Alternatively, a spread of 168 HP / 104 SpA / 236 SpD allows Necrozma to tank a Thunder from Regieleki while retaining enough bulk to tank an Outrage from Jolly Choice Band Haxorus.
- Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment can also be used for better odds against Zapdos and Rillaboom.

Usage Tips
=============
- Choice Specs Necrozma is relatively straightforward - it should be sent out against Pokemon with relatively low Special Defense, and Pokemon it can hit super effectively such as Volcanion, Rillaboom, and Aggron.
- Against Custap Berry users like Garchomp and Porygon-Z, you should use Photon Geyser - this prevents them from setting up and KOing Necrozma.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
- A Life Orb set alongside Protect can also be used to have a better matchup against Custap Berry Primarina and Regieleki.

Usage Tips
========
- The general strategy is to boost either Necrozma's physical or special (don't these need to be capitalized? There are other grammar errors as well, but that's not for me to correct as (AM)QC) bulk depending on what type of attacker it is facing while simultaneously boosting the base power of Stored Power.
- Use Moonlight whenever Necrozma gets too low hp to allow it to continue setting up.
- Then, you can either stall them out to put them in range to where Stored Power is capable of KOing.
- It should also be sent against other Calm Mind users such as Primarina (most Primarinas will outspeed 0 Speed Nero and Encore lock) or non-Taunt Tapu Lele (sure, but p much all Tapu Leles run Taunt). Most CM users (Primarina, Taunt Lele, Taunt Fini, Spectrier, etc.) beat Necro with Taunt or Encore)
Necrozma has a good matchup against most Naganadel variants. Necrozma can lose if it is a Life Orb variant and chooses to run either Laser Focus or Nasty Plot. (Modest Specs, Nasty Plot and Laser Focus all beat it. It only beats Timid Choice Specs or the rare Choice Scarf set)

Set Description
========
- Prismatic Laser is Necrozma's most potent attack, completely decimating Pokemon such as Choice Band Regidraco (not a very relevant set anymore, p much every Regidrago goes bulky now), Choice Band non-Assault Vest Landorus-T (Knock Off won before), Aromatisse (the old spread lost to SpDef Aromatisse), and non-Custap Berry Garchomp (you mention this later). (I would add 1-2 other examples, Volcanion is a big one imo)
- Photon Geyser is a secondary STAB attack with the notable advantage of not requiring a recharge turn and ignoring abilities such as Sawk, Avalugg, and Crustle's Sturdy. (reorder to have lugg, crustle, sawk - lugg is really the only notable one atm)
- Heat Wave gives Necrozma the ability to hit Steel-types such as Celesteela and Ferrothorn, which would resist its STAB moves as well as beat Rillaboom more reliably. (this set doesn't bulk Rillaboom)
- Dark Pulse can be run to have better odds against opposing Necrozma as well as choice itemed Cresselia. (moved these to be in slash order)
- Power Gem is for Volcarona and Pressure Stall Entei
- Psyshock is for Chansey

- Earth Power allows Necrozma to hit KO non-Air Balloon Heatran. Fire-types for more damage, such as Assault Vest Arcanine and non-Air Balloon Heatran.
- Earthquake can be used to secure the Magnezone matchup as u can lose to Mirror Coat if ran.
(no longer on the Fast Specs set, other options material)

EVs
=============
(outdated set, maybe mention the other Choice Specs spreads in the setscomp under other options)
- Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment can also be is used for better odds against bulky Zapdos and Rillaboom. and for maximum damage output.

Usage Tips
=============

=============
- A Life Orb set alongside Protect can also be used to have a better matchup against Custap Berry Primarina and Regieleki. (This is now the most popular set, please write about it in the main section)
Add:
- bulkier Choice Specs sets
- Earthquake / Bulldoze for Magnezone
- Choice Band? It's in the sets compendium but I wouldn't be mad if you didn't include it
