Rules​
  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.​

Doubles Predictions:

Astro Nation Shoe vs GlimmerGlimmer finally gets to play. Glimmer is an experienced player with a wide variety of teams while Astro Nation Shoe tends to stick with the typical GoodStuffs.
Voltix vs NephtyrixVoltix is one of the two players with a 3-0 record. I'm not familiar with Nephtyrix, but the player will have to prep quite well for this match.
NinjaSnapple vs ChainlessJoeNinjaSnapple has been performing quite well. ChainlessJoe has been impressive as well, giving Brazil their first win in the Doubles slot. Great expectations is placed on ChainlessJoe although for now I would say he is the underdog.
Mizuhime vs AIRedzoneBy now, both players should had enough experience to be familiar with the ND DOU metagame. I'm hoping for a good game.
emma vs xqihtI do not know emma well enough to judge. I do know that China won 8-0 last week. They say eight in Mandarin is associated with success and fortune, but also greed. Let's hope China doesn't get ahead of themselves.
bagel vs zeeThis is probably the highlight match of the week. zee is the other player with a 3-0 record, so I will go with this player.


Doubles Recap:

Week 2 (since I didn't post last week): Due to the high usage of Gross teams as well the controversial game between Zamazentas from the previous week, this week saw more usage of Sun teams. There has been a couple of Trick Room teams as well.
  • Week 2's Match of the Week belongs to Voltix. Here's the replay. On turn 8, Voltix uses double Trick Room, effectively resetting Trick Room and winning the game. Voltix also uses uncommon mons such as Stakata and Mega Gardevoir.
  • Week 2's Team of the Week belongs to xqiht. Here's the replay. xqiht uses a Semi-TR based team. Mega Kangaskahn and Jirachi provides support to Zygarde while Trick Room (from Jirachi) would allow Tapu Fini to shine as well.
  • Week 2's Bonus Star goes to NinjaSnapple. Here, NinjaSnapple manages to allow Zygarde to stay in the field for 15 turns! The mon just won't die!
Week 3: Last week saw Mega Metagross teams, for the most part, dominate the round. Other notable threats include Zamazenta and Zygarde. There has been a couple of players who experimented with using other Megas such Mega Swampert and Mega Scizor but to no avail.
  • Match of the Week: Here, ChainlessJoe saves Brazil's Doubles slot from a certain doom. Winning against Idyll is no easy task, and the player had prep well for the victory.
  • Team of the Week: Bagel brings a Gross + Zygarde team with less common supports such as Amoonguss and Gothitelle. Amoonguss is a redirector as well as a mon that uses Spore to put opposing mons to sleep. Gothitelle is used more for its ability Shadow Tag which helps the player to make positional advantage.
  • Bonus Star: From the same match as above, sir jelloton was really unlucky. The player has been given the Bonus "Unlucky" Star (ref. from Mario Party).
