More fun for friends and family! The tier shifts didn't change anything so all of these teams are still legal!

Teams marked with (S) are "Sample Submissions". I put that in quotes because you can't actually submit samples yet, but I'm very proud of those teams and want to highlight them.

AV Amoonguss Stall
:sv/blissey::sv/gliscor::sv/alomomola::sv/amoonguss:dondozo.gif:sv/sableye-mega:<-(click for paste)
Built this team a while ago, when I was talking to other stall lords in the PS! room. Dondozo was originally Pyukumuku, but that mon legit sucks ass lmao. AV Amoonguss was made to better deal with Kingdra rain teams but it also has a solid matchup against HO thanks to Clear Smog. Pretty fun team but it's hella Kyurem weak. Edit s/o to Lifeismyth for suggesting Stomping Tantrum on Amoonguss

Jirachi Stall (S)
:sv/clefable::sv/jirachi::sv/gliscor::sv/blissey::sv/sableye-mega:dondozo.gif
Jirachi was brought in over other Steels like Skarmory to better deal with Kyurem. It outruns Kyurem while still having enough bulk to switch into an Earth Power consistently. It's also a decent rocker. This stall is very good and I used it during my Victini suspect run and got reqs first try. The unaware core that Clefable and Dondozo form is incredibly strong and walls nearly the entire metagame.

Glowking Stall
:sv/clefable::sv/slowking-galar::sv/alomomola::sv/sableye-mega::sv/blissey::sv/gliscor:
This is another Regen-Core Stall this time featuring Glowking. It's a very nice backup special wall incase Blissey somehow dies. Future Sight is also great to force progress against the opponent. Instead of Calm Mind Sableye, we just have the standard Knock Off set in order to better pressure defensive mons like Moltres and Celesteela.

Polteagiest Hyper Offense (S)
:sv/excadrill::sv/polteageist::sv/gyarados-mega::sv/celesteela:baxcalibur.gif:sv/blaziken:
First HO team I made in a while since I've been rolling with Stall so much. Ran Polteagiest since it can shred nearly everything given that you get rid of priority mons. Polteagiest also gives a solid mu against Stall teams and it's very good when paired with Mega Gyarados. The rest of the team tackles other relevant threats live Weavile, Kommo-o, Gliscor, etc.

Mixed Kommo-o Bulky Offense
:sv/kommo-o::sv/slowking-galar::sv/aegislash::sv/skarmory::sv/gliscor::sv/keldeo-resolute:
I had this team laying around for a long time, but never put sets on the mons. I finally did and it turned out fairly well. Mixed Kommo-o is a really nice win-con to break down fat teams who over-rely on Blissey, Gliscor, and Skarm to beat Kommo-o. Pairing with with Glowking works wonders at forcing progress. Something quite wonky on this team is Rocks Skarm; but it's fine for the most part. I might switch Gliscor over to Rocks and Skarm to Spikes but it's whatever. Then Scarf Keld checks Vile and Mega-Gyarados for the team.

Kingdra + Weavile Rain (S)
:sv/politoed::sv/kingdra::sv/aggron-mega::sv/amoonguss::sv/gliscor::sv/weavile:
I'm still trying to perfect my rain teams. My last one is still useable with some adjustments, so this is another take on the Bulky Rain team i'm trying to optimize. This time we only have one abuser in Kingdra, which makes it feel sort of like a "Semi-Rain" team of sorts. But the extra additions are very nice to form a good defensive backbone. Weavile was added to give the team some natural speed control, and provide much needed utility in Knock Off and priority.

Scarf Latias Sun
:sv/torkoal::sv/venusaur::sv/Victini::sv/Latias:ting-lu.gif:sv/Tapu Fini:
This is a Sun team I made on a whim cuz I really wanted to try out Victini for the suspect test. I think it turned out fairly well but it's sorta rough around the edges. I think you can go HWish > Defog on Latias and then run Defog Fini but it doesn't really matter. Also formed a cool hazard stacking core with Torkoal and Ting-Lu so that's fun. And as always we have the two inseparable sun sweepers: Victini to shred defensive cores, and Venusaur to clean up the game.

metagame post soon, maybe idk.

In the light of Victini staying in the tier and shifts not affecting us this month, I don't need to adjust these teams and we're in a prime period for uploading. I'll keep the explanations a little shorter this time, trust.

TTar and MAltaria Balance
:sv/gliscor: :sv/tyranitar: :sv/kyurem: :sv/slowking-galar: :sv/blaziken: :sv/altaria-mega:

Balance at the moment is difficult to build, but I've had some pretty good success with this team. Baxcalibur is the main threat this team faces, though I've found Blaziken is often the best counter to it this team has; if it doesn't have a dragon dance, you live everything after tera and always OHKO back, and after a protect you outspeed adamant variants, with the defence investment allowing you to have a favourable roll to live +1 glaive rush and always live EQ.

Beyond that, this team isn't too complex. Gliscor is a defacto physical switch in, TTar handles most special threats and Glowking handles the others - notably this is your iron moth check. Kyurem abuses Dondozo and Gliscor, MAltaria abuses Blissey, Blaziken can just win some games if given an inch and the other two can often win once their checks are worn down. This team does also lack speed control, but speed boost on Blaziken and ddance MAltaria gives you a way to at least boost up and challenge boosted threats; MAltaria, for example, completely walls MGyarados.

FiniLucha Bulky Offence
:sv/tapu-fini: :sv/hawlucha: :sv/kyurem: :sv/gliscor: :sv/cinderace: :sv/aegislash:

As those on the discord unsubtle plug once again would know, this is a relatively new team. But goddamn it's been doing well, currently undefeated and feels easy to play, so I have no qualms about uploading it. So far I haven't really found any important bad matchups, though be careful around choice band Weavile - keep Aegi healthy for this, and scout as best you can with king's shield and tera water gliscor - and tricking away a choice scarf for an assault vest; you can lose pretty quickly to hazards if Fini can't defog any more.

In terms of how to play this, the plan is simple. Your defensive core is Gliscor + Tapu Fini, at least once Fini has tricked away it's scarf. But even if it doesn't due to having a favourable match up, Aegi can often substitute in as a semi-defensive mon. Speaking of, Aegislash is your alternative wincon and priority user, with tera ghost allowing it to easily clean through weakened teams using shadow sneak. Cinderace is speed control and a precaution against hazard stack, as well as a pivot to bring in Kyurem on Gliscor, which can otherwise struggle to hit the field without boots. Speaking of, Kyurem does what it might as well say on the tin. There are no switch ins other than Blissey, and it abuses large portions of stall teams.

Glowking + Dozo Stall
:sv/skarmory: :sv/blissey: :sv/sableye-mega: :sv/dondozo: :sv/clefable: :sv/slowking-galar:

This is the best team on this list. And while it is named after Glowking in equal measures, the real star of the show is Dondozo. This team has no bad match ups, at least not any more. For a long time, I was struggling for an answer to sun Victini, which is notorious for completely destroying defensive cores; Dondozo could live it outside of sun, but once in it? Not so much. However, utility umbrella removes the effects of sun, allowing it to reliably check it once again. This does mean no leftovers, which weakens the set into basically everything else, but Dondozo is fortunately broken enough for this not to be an issue most of the time.

This being said, an explanation of each mon, or rather pair of mons. Skarmory and Blissey can often be blanket checks to large chunks of the metagame, with the ability to set and remove hazards between them. In this case, skarmory can also be an alt wincon while Blissey is also a secondary cleric; Wish + Soft Boiled is a nasty combination, with Blissey's massive health pool allowing it to heal almost every other member of the team back to full with a wish pass. Dondozo and Clefable form an almost unbreakable unaware core, with the exceptions being mold breaker mons like MGyarados and random Swords Dance excadrill outside of sand. However, Dondozo can use its tera to beat MGyarados and Skarmory beats Exca. Dondozo is also the main wincon of the team; with a curse, it goes from bulky to unkillable and can often sweep most teams once any strong special attackers are removed. Finally, MSableye and Glowking. These two are more specific, with Sableye being the standard hazard and removal denial machine that it is, and Glowking being a designated Iron Moth check and also setting toxic spikes. This secondary role is incredibly important, as this team can often struggle to actually force progress against fat teams without toxic spikes up.

That's all for the moment, if the metagame shifts to counter these then I'll try and update this with any new techs, and/or just make a new post with new teams.

You'll probably get more help posting this to a RMT thread or on the Natdex UU discord, but I'll give some suggestions here.

First, Mew isn't the best HO lead. Exca or Treads are better at keeping Rocks off for your opponent and on for you, especially against stall which is super important. If you want to keep using Mew I would recommend Dark Tera for Prankster and better resistances, not that you'll tera it often.

You probably want Tera Electric on Blaziken, and Lorb isn't great on Blaziken as you already die hella fast from Flare Blitz. You can run Balloon or Lefties, though if you want Lorb its fine.

Physical Normalium Rachi is kinda ass. Stored Power + Tbolt is better coverage alongside Iron Head, as SP hits neutral targets super hard. Idk what the spread does but Max Max on Spatk and Speed is likely best.

Drei kinda sucks. I love it but it's such an awkward speed tier without good boosting options and can be revenged super easily. I would replace it with Mega Gyarados as its also a dark type and is one of the reasons to run HO.

Specs Kyu doesn't make sense on HO. HO wants to be a bunch of setup sweepers. I would recommend either Baxcalibur if you want a Ice Dragon, or if you want to use Kyurem run Sub DD Icicle Spear.

M-Ttar + Latios BO (sample submission)
:ss/gliscor: :ss/aegislash: :ss/tapu-fini: :ss/tyranitar-mega: :ss/latios: :ss/cinderace:
https://pokepast.es/f9400b512c541399

This team consists of pokemon that are mentioned a lot in the top 10 metagame, of all of them only :aegislash: is included in the watchlist, so I think this team is suitable to be submitted as a sample team

in this metagame, balance and bulky offense are overshadowed by very offensive HO or very defensive stall, this team is trying to be in the middle between offensive and defensive

:gliscor: is the most used pokemon in this metagame, checking many of offensive threats besides water or ice attackers. :tapu-fini: complements the weakness of gliscor by water and ice. Then spdef aegislash adds to this core with freeze dry resistance.

On the offensive side, there is a :tyranitar-mega: that can be a soft-check for ghost types, can trap :blacephalon:, :gengar:, etc. with pursuits. :Cinderace: and :Latios: are pure attackers from the physical and special side. Latias is the main tera candidate with tera electric which fits perfectly with levitate abilities

This team is not perfect, the most visible weakness is when facing :gyarados-mega: who uses a power whip, if you meet Megados, make Aegislash become Tera and use the Toxic + King Shield combo.

Sharing a couple teams that are useful and have served me well, but I'd hesitate to suggest them as samples.

:slither wing: :iron moth: :ting-lu: :thundurus-therian: :tapu fini: :aegislash:

With Gliscor gone from the tier, Wing+Thundy-t form a pretty dangerous volt-turn duo, allowing for strong momentum-based offense. Trapping taunt Ting-lu is great at getting opposing walls stuck and removed, enabling volt switches. Fini rounds out the defensive core and removes hazards to facilitate Wing's work. SD+King's Shield Aegislash is a very threatening late-game wincon that also can act as a midgame wallbreaker/pivot. Finally, morning sun Iron Moth stallbreaks, something this team would otherwise lack. The team makes up for its overall slowness with two different priority revenge killers, although clicking band first impression isn't something you want to do often lest the forced switch after it be exploited. The team also dislikes facing mega Venusaur, but not enough that i'd drop a move in Thundy for psychic.

:grimmsnarl: :aegislash: :kyurem: :gyarados-mega: :victini: :celesteela:

Screens HO stays best HO. Grimm's just a really good lead, with at least one kind of screens going up almost no matter what. Aegi has a really good defensive profile, which facilitates stacking up buffs behind screens. MGyara is almost a must in HO, and Sub is very good at exploiting screens. Z-Celebrate Victini is a very apt cleaner. Steela has an incredible ability to just run away with games, although it is severely limited in this tier by Tyranitar, to the point that I think flash cannon or giga drain over air slash is a plausible pick. Finally, ddance subroost kyurem rounds out this team, notably fixing the otherwise shaky stall MU, with substitute mgyara not exactly being a good way to deal with curse dozo. Kyurem just pp stalls it to hell while getting a +6 from empty ddance turns. Leftovers would make it even better at doing that, but I'm not crazy enough to lose the reliability on other mus just for dozo.
EDIT: Apparently this team was built by Runoisch and I didn't remember to record it with his name, so that's my bad. I still think the team's good, it just isn't mine lol.

Edit: changed the images cuz they were not loading on my end + it looks cleaner
also lets just say that all the teams without unmons are sample submissions.

Time to revive the thread! Only one team today, one that I've been testing and working on for a full week now. While it's a little unorthodox, I would also like to make this team a sample submission due to many reasons, all of which I'll explain below.

As you probably know with my team bazaar posts by now, my explanations get a little lengthy. I've tried to keep them concise and readable, but apologies if they go on longer than you feel like reading. Each mon fulfils a specific role on the team, and it's gotten me to 7th place on ladder so I feel it's proven its worth. So, without further ado!

:sv/hippowdon: :sv/excadrill: :sv/dracozolt: :sv/meowscarada: :sv/moltres: :sv/slowking-galar:

Sand, in current meta, is incredibly strong. This is due to several reasons, which are explored in the explanations below. Due to this being a sample submission, I felt it best to have a detailed description of each mon and its role on the team alongside the usual shorter description, and I've also attached replays at the end to demonstrate the effectiveness of the team. With that all said and done with, happy reading!

This team is relatively simple to pilot. Hippowdon sets sand for your threats, in Excadrill and Dracozolt, to outspeed most of the metagame while tanking hits from the likes of Tyranitar and DDance Kyurem. Said threats break for each other and can threaten to win the game under the right circumstances, with Dracozolt also acting as an incredibly strong Gyarados counter against HO. Meowscarada provides speed control and pivoting, while switching in on Earthquakes that could be dangerous to the other members of the team. Similarly, Moltres provides stability against ground type and fighting type attacks while acting as a slow pivot. Finally, Slowking Galar acts as a counter to special Kyurem sets and other special attackers while providing a third and final slow pivot.
These first three members of the team are what most sand teams are centred around. Hippowdon is a fantastic sand setter, being able to set stealth rocks, stay healthy, check electrics like Zeraora, MManectric and opposing Dracozolt while dealing significant damage to teams without a good ground immunity. Special defense investment allows it to withstand even booster energy tera grass iron moth energy ball from full in a pinch, while defense investment means it is never OHKOed by +1 MTyranitar ice punch on the rare Dragon Dance sets that still carry it.
Excadrill is one of the most dangerous set-up sweepers in the tier, with very few guaranteed checks. It also has relatively decent bulk, allowing it to often SD once while taking a hit and sweep. Steelium Z allows it to deal significant damage to and potentially break through key targets in a match, such as dealing 75% to Moltres at +2 while avoiding a flame body proc and 65% to defensive Celesteela. It also serves as an effective counter to opposing Hyper Offence, as it finds easy opportunity setting up in front of Grimmsnarl and uses sand chip to break opposing sashes.
Excadrill's few counters are incredibly weak to the third member of this core, Dracozolt, which blasts through Skarmory, Celesteela, Moltres and Dondozo with ease. With choice band and tera electric the only mon that doesn't resist bolt beak in some form which can take even one attack is full phys.def Buzzwole, which is less common than offensive tank/bulk up sets. To compliment this, a lot of grounds in the tier are also fighting weak, notably Iron Treads and Ting-Lu both being 2HKOed by low kick. Combined, this core has very little trouble ripping apart defensive cores and can even brute force through HO with raw power and speed in sand.
The main weaknesses of the standard sand core is its lack of pivoting and speed control outside of sand. Meowscarada covers these weaknesses handily, along with threatening out the Gastrodon and Swampert that can prove considerable roadblocks for Dracozolt. It also functions as an offensive fairy due to both its Tera type and protean ability, allowing it to blow past the Lati twins and scarf Hydreigon, while maintaining momentum with u-turn to pivot Dracozolt in on the likes of Skarmory and Moltres.
Moltres is perfectly positioned in this squad to handle two burgeoning weaknesses, namely a weakness to fighting and a weakness to ground. Along with defog support and u-turn, Moltres is a reliable counter to opposing Buzzwole, Excadrill and Cinderace, which can otherwise pose a threat to this core that isn't easily countered. It also eases a tricky to navigate match up into Swords Dance Aegislash, with Excadrill countering subtoxic variants.
Finally we have pivoting Slowking-G, or Glowking as I like to call it. This inclusion may seem counter-intuitive, due to the inclusion of chilly reception which overwrites the sand this team relies on, but first I'll mention the match ups this mon eases. First, Glowking serves as a hard counter to Iron Moth, reliably forcing it to burn its tera to avoid being OHKOed by psyshock. This then often leaves it vulnerable to other members of this team. Second, it is able to reliably switch in to and beat special subroost variants of Kyurem, which this team struggles to handle otherwise, with sludge bomb and psyshock both guaranteed to break a sub, while icicle spear never kills at +0 on the increasingly popular subdance sets. Finally, it serves as a reliable scout into Aegislash as well as most special threats in the metagame, being able to take at least one hit from almost anything. Future Sight support also makes breaking Dracozolt's counters significantly easier, as there are very few mons available that can switch into outrage and future sight incoming on the same turn. This leads nicely into the use of chilly reception, which is Glowking's only pivoting move, as it allows the reliable facilitation of Dracozolt against the slower, bulkier cores it can sometimes struggle into. While it does overwrite sand upon use, this can also be of benefit to the player. Glowking has a very good match up into rain, which can otherwise be an incredibly difficult team style to beat using sand, and chilly reception also overwriting opposing weathers while slow pivoting potentially into your own sand setter to reset sand turns can be invaluable in an otherwise difficult situation. Hail boosting Kyurem's defence also doesn't matter for this team, as Glowking is your counter to kyurem and attacks on the special side rather than physical.
I feel an explanation for the style of this team is also in order. I have practiced this style of teambuilding for quite some time now, which is a momentum heavy balance. Usually balance doesn't mind seceding momentum to the opposing team, with the understanding that eventually a slow pivot will be brought in allowing for momentum to be forced back in your favour. I find that this can be unreliable, especially for new players, which is why I include two slow pivots and a fast pivot despite chilly reception potentially being of detriment to the rest of the team. The use of three pivots on balance makes it significantly easier to control the pace of a game, giving you the maximum possible opportunities to bring in your breakers and wincons safely.

Sharing a few fat teams. Hopefully yall use them to fuck with the people on the ladder. I'll go over each mon (or pair of mons)

:sv/hippowdon: :sv/skarmory: :sv/alomomola: :sv/slowking-galar: :sv/latias-mega: :sv/bisharp:

Team was built around the core of mega latias and bisharp. Bisharp helps break and traps threats for mega latias. No iron head because it doesn't really hit much. Thunder is run over aura sphere on mega latias so you aren't walled by mega sableye and break through bulky waters and flyings easier. Being walled by Ting-Lu and Ttar isn't really an issue because the team deals with them quite well.

Hipposkarm was added next as a solid defensive backbone. Skarmory was originally spikes but changed to defog for hazard control.

Alomomola is a really good pivot, status spreader, and cleric. It allows more aggressive plays with bisharp and can scout attacks with protect.

Glowking was added last to support bisharp with future sight and help strengthen the stall matchup.

In general, alomomola and glowking should be the main switch-ins to attacks, as they have regenerator and can recover off the damage easily.

:sv/clefable: :sv/alomomola: :sv/sableye-mega: :sv/blissey: :sv/skarmory: :sv/quagsire:

SkarmBliss is pretty self explanatory. It's an amazing stall core that brings both hazards and removal to the team. Blissey is the team's special sponge and can take on pretty much every special attack. Skarmory is the team's steel and provides a lot of resistances, as well as acting as a win-con with iron defense.

Clefable and Quagsire were brought on next as unaware walls. Clefable compresses a cleric, a wincon, and a set up stopper into one, being able to stop special fighting types or boosters that would otherwise be too much for blissey to handle. Quagsire helps take on the physical attackers that trouble skarmory. It also has spikes and can absorb volt switch.

Mega Sableye is a great mon on stall teams, being able to stop most hazards, remove items, and spread burns.

Alomomola is the team's wish passer and can spread both burn and poison. It's also great at scouting opposing pokemon with protect and regenerator.

As the resident stall player in Natdex UU I want to post some of my recent stall builds if anyone wanted easy ladder points.

:sv/{Chansey}: :sv/{Sableye-Mega}: :sv/{Quagsire}: :sv/{Skarmory}: :sv/{Clefable}: :sv/{Jirachi}:

Pretty standard stall build, and what I'd recommend for anyone learning to play stall for the first time. While not the most complex playstyle, Stall does require a little bit of planning while playing, so try and figure out which of your opponents threats are most dangerous and play accordingly.

In my opinion, Chansey is better than Blissey in this meta game. Sure, our hazard removal sucks, but Chansey has noticeably more bulk than Blissey, which allows it to take hits much better on the Physical Side. It's almost impossible to OHKO Chansey from full except with CC, so it can stay in on most of the meta game to Toxic a big threat. Seismic + Toxic lets it handle almost anything, and Wish Protect is super useful to keep the team healthy and scout Choiced mons for a Trick, while also giving Chansey 16 recovery PP.
Mega Sableye is mandatory on any stall team. Knock Wisp with Phys Def is the best set hands down as nearly every SR setter is a Physical attacker, except Clefable.
Some calcs to help prove my point:

0 Atk Ting-Lu Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Sableye-Mega: 96-114 (31.6 - 37.6%) -- 87.6% chance to 3HKO
252 Atk Iron Treads Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Sableye-Mega: 121-144 (39.9 - 47.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

0 Atk Ting-Lu Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Sableye-Mega: 73-87 (24 - 28.7%) -- 97.2% chance to 4HKO
252 Atk Iron Treads Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Sableye-Mega: 91-108 (30 - 35.6%) -- 26.4% chance to 3HKO

Physical investment helps it Wisp problematic set up sweepers and stick around longer as with only 8 Recover PP it can get worn down quick. Look for spots to Wish pass to it with Chansey as they come up a lot.
Quag is not nearly as good as Dondozo and leaves the team weaker to a lot of Physical setup sweepers, but it does its job well enough, walling Blaziken and Gyarados by the skin of its teeth. Also hard walls H-Arcanine which is great. Spikes are really nice to pressure any team, and helps in the stall mirror as Sableye hates switching into Scald. Toxic for sweepers that can't/don't mind getting burned, or on switches.
Skarmory is another mandatory piece of Stall, being the premier Physical Wall. ID+Body Press is necessary to not auto lose to a lot of the sweepers in the tier. Defog is important as Skarm is the only decent defogger for Stall right now.
Clefable is one of the most flexible members on the team. I could see changing the set, but CM+Aroma is nice as a Cleric and wincon. Tera Poison helps against Venusaur but with Sun being banned it could be Tera Dark or Water for Polteageist/Hydreigon/Aegislash.
Jirachi is the flex slot, with many teams running Alomomola, Glowking, or another mon in the last slot. I picked Jirachi because it shuts down one of the most relevant wallbreakers in the tier in Mega Gardevoir, as well as providing a SR setter. Speed outspeeds Max speed Adamant Mega Ttar, you could increase the speed to 244 to outspeed Jolly base Ttar but nobody is running Jolly Ttar anyways.

Threatlist:
:Aegislash: Aegislash is one of the best mons in the tier and is also a pretty big threat to the team. Swords Dance is the easiest set to deal with, being walled by Quagsire and Clefable unless it's Iron Head. Shadow Ball + CC is the hardest to deal with, as Modest Shadow Ball 2HKO's the entire team and CC 2HKO's Chansey. Either Tera Chansey or try and get Clefable in on a CC so you can Calm Mind up.

:Choice Scarf: This team hates absorbing Trick, especially from mons like Blacephalon, Latios, or Tapu Fini. There's 3 Protect users so try and scout for Trick, but if you can't usually you want Quagsire, Clefable, or Jirachi taking the Scarf/Specs. Of course, you can just outplay your opponents as well.

:Arctozolt: Hail sucks right now but Zolt is a pain to deal with. Quagsire and Chansey can take hits, but Chansey folds to Tera Electric Bolt Beak (it's not 2HKO'd by it before Tera), and Quag gets nuked by Freeze Dry. Get a Toxic on it before it subs or sack Skarm to eat a chunk of its health with Body Press.

Most of the Tera types are self-explanatory, but I'll explain each one anyways.
Tera Fairy on Chansey allows it to take CC's from every mon, as well as giving it an excellent defensive typing for the rest of the game.
Tera Poison on Quag gives it a resistance to Grass moves, as well as a Fighting Resistance and immunity to Toxic.
Tera Dragon on Skarm lets it resist Fire and Electric, as well as maintaining a Grass resistance and gaining a Water resistance. Dragon is a great defensive type against most of the tiers setup sweepers.
Tera Poison Clefable is probably outdated as I mentioned, so Tera Dark, Steel, or Water are all solid options.
Tera Water Jirachi lets it beat stuff like Cinderace and Hydreigon.

Now, on to a less standard Stall build that I've been having a lot of success with.

:sv/{Ting-Lu}: :sv/{Sableye-Mega}: :sv/{Alomomola}: :sv/{Skarmory}: :sv/{Clefable}: :sv/{Jirachi}:

Obviously, this is a Chansey/Blissey-less stall team, but I'm honestly debating whether Chansey or Ting Lu is better on stall because of this team. This team is much harder to play, so I don't recommend it to anyone new to stall. As this stall is kinda similar to the last one, I will only be discussing the new mons.

S/O to the Natdex UU Discord for recommending Ting-Lu on stall (join the Discord btw). This mon is a beast, both literally and figuratively. It cannot be OHKO'd by any unboosted attacks, and has a 87 percent chance to live stuff like +2 Corkscrew from Excadrill. Even without reliable recovery, Ting-Lu sticks around for the whole game. You do need to be careful with it, as it's just as weak as Chansey to Knock Off. However, with 2 Wish Passers, it's super easy to keep Lu healthy. EQ, Ruination, Whirlwind and Spikes allow Lu to be much less passive than Chansey, as it can set hazards and threaten big damage on everything with Ruination, as well as helping the team a lot against Aegislash. Tera Poison has been selected over Tera Water to give Ting Lu a fighting resist for stuff like Close Combat on Aegislash and Focus Blast on special sweepers, as well as a Fairy Resistance to help it beat Whirlpool Tapu Fini.
Mola is a decent Wish Passer and an even better Scout and Status Absorber. With Regenerator+Wish, it's super easy to keep at high health, and spreads status just as easily with Scald+Toxic. Ting Lu can switch in to a lot of the Electric attacks aimed at Mola and heal up with Wish. Generally if you dont know a mons set, Mola is a safeish option to throw out to scout what your opponent is doing. Tera Dragon lets it resist both Grass and Electric, and is the most standard choice for Bulky Waters.

I also have some non-stall teams for all you players who don't like stall (but why would you not like stall?)

:sv/{Tyranitar}: :sv/{Excadrill}: :sv/{Dracozolt}: :sv/{Moltres}: :sv/{Buzzwole}: :sv/{Keldeo}:

This is a standard Sand team that has performed very well for me. I'm still tinkering with it as it has a noticeable weakness to Tapu Fini, but it's pretty solid. I'll give some brief explanations for each mon

TTar is Smooth Rock instead of the standard Mega TTar because we have Zolt and Drill and are not a semi-sand build. Quake+Ice Beam grants great coverage alongside Pursuit.

Drill is standard on every Sand build. Outspeeds everything under Sand, Steelium Z for a nuke against Flying types, and Spin for Hazard Removal.

Dracozolt is CB on this team, which isn't a standard choice BUT when considered every UU Ground type is weak to Low Kick, it makes sense. No Lorb also grants Zolt a lot more longevity which is great on this team. CB Tera Electric Bolt Beak OHKO's every neutral target in the tier and most resists, and 2HKO's anything that isn't a ground type.

Moltres is a great defensive mon in the metagame, and with the defensive investment provided it lives 2 Choice Specs tera Fairy Moonblasts from Enamorous. I've run Toxic for a while on Moltres with no Defog, and I'm honestly not sure which is better. If you lean towards a more offensive play style, I highly recommend Toxic over Defog.

Buzzwole is a great physical tank that also provides a lot of offensive pressure. Toxic is the flex move slot, which can be swapped out for Thunder Punch or Ice Punch. T-Punch is likely the best option to help chip Fini.

Keldeo is great on Sand because one of its main checks, Tapu Fini, doesn't recover with Sand up. Tera Grass HP Grass OHKOs Specially Defensive Gastrodon which helps clear a path for Dracozolt, while also letting Keldeo slam Tapu Fini hard and allowing it to switch into Scald later in the game, which is really hard for this team

Team is a lot of fun, but has some weaknesses so tinker with the mons and see what fits your playstyle best!

Last team, this one is untested so I cannot recommend it too much but its been a fun team to play.

:sv/{Meowscarada}: :sv/{Tapu Fini}: :sv/{Arcanine-Hisui}: :sv/{Sandy Shocks}: :sv/{Enamorus}: :sv/{Aegislash}:

Built around H-Arcanine with the Fire Water Grass core of Meow+Fini. Not much else to say, Shocks is the only offensive ground (please Gliscor come back I miss you so much I promise I'll Tera you every game).

i had never played NDUU much prior to this years slam, and overall i thought it was a very fun tier with a lot of options to explore.

i cannot attest to the quality of some of these teams as i am quite inexperienced with this tier, but here are some of the teams i built/used and i hope i can inspire some cool innovations.

I'll do the same as Runo, and mark the potential sample-worthy ones with (S). Feel free to edit whatever, these are definitely not completely optimized.

Now that i've reached Top 3 in the ND UU ladder, i'll post a few of the squads i've been using during my ladder run. Not much to say about them but i'd be nice to revive activity for a bit so yeah here goes my top 2 squads.

:sv/cinderace: :sv/celesteela: :sv/ting-lu: :sv/venusaur-mega: :sv/tapu fini: :sv/keldeo-resolute:

One of my first squads ever during my return in not just a tera infected meta but also the spamming of Hyper Offense and Stall. It went through a lot of set changes (and some Serperior hard checking) but i ultimately settled on Scarf Fini's set of tools that mess both offense and defense as well as the defensive backbone of Celesteela, Ting-Lu (who's spread is to taunt hippo) and Mega Venusaur. Keldeo was my stall breaker as Tera Ghost allowed it to setup on Chansey and Blissey but it needed the support to handle Cress so i often kept it as a late game weapon to bluff choice sets as Cinderace & Co pmuch overwhelmed the necessary amount for Keldeo to clean up. As for a Ting-Lu replacement tho...yeah let's just ban pult in OU.

:sv/enamorus: :sv/tyranitar-mega: :sv/amoonguss: :sv/cinderace: :sv/excadrill: :sv/celesteela:

As an experiment to judge Enamorus presence in the tier (which btw this mon is not broken at all it was just tera making us go crazy), i decided to build a few things around it and finished it up on a somewhat basic Sand M-Ttar & Excadrill squad. Cinderace and Celesteela coming back as essential parts of the team in order to make excellent progress, this time i explored more of Ace's utility movepool that allowed it to lure grounds and make it easier for the M-Ttar and Exca to comfortably clean up (dropping sucker punch as my speed control was already doing great) while Celesteela was a more passive yet secure way to get progress. Eject Button Amoonguss is probably one of my favorite sets to use in general since it's so free to just go in and out agaisn't nearly anything in order to keep the momentum going at any time.

With that out of the way i'll move to some of the other squads that i haven't tested enough of or just did it for tera:

:blissey: :mew: :Aegislash: :iron treads: :tapu fini: :iron moth:

A more tera reliant team in order to handle ace, it's basically a fat balance with Night Shade Mew to keep consistent damage alongside Wisp or Spikes and while the idea sounded better on paper, it wasn't all that bad and it got some nice moments here and there.

:meowscarada: :alakazam: :iron moth: :Scizor: :mew: :hippowdon:
:arcanine-hisui: :iron hands: :meowscarada: :celesteela: :tapu fini: :sandy shocks:

These two are similar in a way that i haven't used much of them but there's a part that i really do like about them to honor a mention. The first squad was just me being tired and bothered of thinking too much and slapped on a bunch of stuff that looked good during the Blaziken meta, Zam is a niche but interesting pick that gave me a decent general option (sorta) and some speed control, Encore being a way to disrupt most things and get free boosts or attacks on (mainly abusing Ttar and Ting-Lu switchins). The first team is a bit of a recent one that while i don't like due to an awkward core of cele, fini and shocks that still doesn't convince me, the H-Arc and Hands were more effective than what i anticipated at first.

First team post after DLC-1, much like my previous team on post #31
I'd really like to use :Empoleon: after it gets roost and competitive ability which is perfect for stealth rock setter, :gligar: cover perfect weakness with empo and also have spikes, :Skeledirge: ghost type is for spinblocker, :Latios: is special attacker and revenge killer with scarf, Lastly the sand combo :Tyranitar-Mega: also like getting Knock Off with :excadrill: as sand sweeper + hazard remover role compression.

Now normally i would do some big ass explanation as to why X team is good and how X team works and stuff like that but honestly i wanna do something simple for once and just post my main builds for these 3 days (let's see if NDPL players use them again like last time lmao). Some of these are already posted for the new /teams function and in other posts i made (click on the sprites for the pokepast).

i could had posted more but i surprisingly didn't had as much as i expected (most of my other squads are either similar or still lack some testing) but hey now you can enjoy the meta. Anyway now time to wait for a certain person to finish their post so yeah cya.

After a long time it's finally gonna be real, Sample Submissions are fully open! Before one of the plans the council is currently preparing, the primary idea is to have samples updated for once so that we can more easily start doing big movements in the tier and help the newer playerbase in what's popular and effective. If you wanna support the tier then now's your time to do so as we will be looking for teams around here, even if your team doesn't make it it's good enough that you participated on this.

I'll start with some of the teams i've been running on ladder and room tournaments for a good while:

:altaria-mega: :thundurus-therian: :iron treads: :slowking-galar: :meowscarada: :buzzwole:
DD M-Altaria Fat Balance

:indeedee: :ceruledge: :hawlucha: :excadrill: :alakazam: :meowscarada:

Ceruledge Psyspam

:enamorus: :hydreigon: :excadrill: :slowbro: :scizor: :blissey:
BlissBro Bulky Offense

These 3 are some examples and with that i hope you have fun building!

After a long time it's finally gonna be real, Sample Submissions are fully open!
Seconding this. ^ However, to prevent overflow, I would also like to request that submissions be kept to a maximum of 5 per person. We’re also currently looking for submissions favouring more defensive trends, if preferable.

Go wild everyone, but don’t actually.

havent tested ANY of these teams enough to rly say how good they are

:xy/noivern: :xy/tyranitar-mega: :bw/excadrill: :rb/clefable: :gs/skarmory: :xy/volcanion: (oh god the gs sprites are so awkward LOL)

https://pokepast.es/dcb8b36d9e0ab0ac

made this team to celebrate noivember (a celebration i made up), and after using it quite a bit i think noivern has some genuine potential in the tier even if its not the most viable pick out there. with high bp moves like draco and cane, plus flamethrower to mess with steels, it can put quite the impact into quite a few teams, and if you can nab a pursuit on the likes of gking, it can be really threatening, with its high speed stat, decent defensive typing, and access to roost helping out quite a bit. i chose defog volcanion here to compress a water resist, gastrodon lure, and defogger who wouldnt weaken draco like tapu fini would.

:sv/sinistcha: :bw/excadrill: :ss/grimmsnarl: :sv/ogerpon-cornerstone: :bw/bisharp: :gs/scizor:

https://pokepast.es/1c522f244eec2196

this is an ho team featuring grassium z sinistcha, i was messing with a grassy terrain team with it holding grassy seed to give it a defense boost before realizing that z-strength sap actually did the same while being, you know, strength sap, and not requiring tapu bulu. bisharp/scizors priority and ogerpons sturdy can give some counterplay vs scary offensive threats like iron moth, which is pretty nice.

:sv/ceruledge: :bw/excadrill: :bw/serperior: :sv/iron hands: :ss/cinderace: :rs/salamence:

https://pokepast.es/e9337b03059e790c

this is an okay team, idk it didnt really work out all that well but i think i might just be bad cause nothing abt this team screams "bad" to me

:bw/thundurus: :xy/tyranitar-mega: :bw/excadrill: :rb/clefable: :gs/skarmory: :xy/volcanion: (sample team submission)

https://pokepast.es/664896f02bb9061c

noivember team with thundurus, thundy still functions as a fast special attackers whos checks are (even more so given its positive matchup into special checks who can handle pursuit like ttar) weak to pursuit and it benefits even more from hp grass volcanion. i like it especially for priority twave being able to help vs iron moth, which lets be real here, you cant be too safe against right now.

:rb/chansey: :bw/keldeo: :gs/skarmory: :bw/bisharp: :xy/venusaur-mega: :rb/mew:

https://pokepast.es/d13ec9dc2fcb3e59

wishkiller is a famous oras team and i figured "since this metagame has a lot of threats similar to oras, why not?" the only pokemon on the original team who isnt in this tier is heatran, but thats fine, as i never found myself needing it. i instead used mew for its ability to defog and uh

not die

feel free to replace with something more legit tbh

:bw/reuniclus: :rb/clefable: :rb/ditto: :ss/slowking-galar: :dp/gastrodon: :gs/skarmory:

https://pokepast.es/3cf7b5c0c1b86760

jeez, i use a lot of skarm, anyways this team is passive as hell and kinda fishy but its kinda easy to neglect just how threatening calm mind clefable really is so it can go hard depending on the matchup. i havent clicked cm once with reuniclus in testing though so it might just actually suck ass (im so sorry reuniclus i love you but you might just suck ass)

Sample submissions open WOOO!! This meta has been super fun after Mola rose and Gyra has been banned (apparently still see it on ladder tho). Can't wait till Moth is banned and the meta is balanced because we all know nothing will ever be broken in our beautiful Natdex UU tier.

Anyways, here are some teams I've built. I've found the meta is super dominated by Sand, so prepare for Mega TTar and Excadrill. If you don't have a counter for those on every team, you are gonna have a bad time on ladder

:sv/{Cinderace}: :sv/{Celesteela}: :sv/{Clefable}: :sv/{Gastrodon}: :sv/{Tyranitar-Mega}: :sv/{Excadrill}:

If you've played me on ladder or in Room Tours you know I love spamming this team. This is a pretty standard Balance/Fat Sand Team, which I think is a great pick for the current meta and has some interesting move choices to help against common ladder threats.

Starting with the defensive backbone, Celesteela + Gastrodon is one of the most slapable cores on almost any team, as it walls a huge portion of the metagame and provides your team with a Rocker, Ground Type, Flying Type and Steel Type all in 2 slots, which opens up the rest of the team to do almost anything. The core can be a bit weak to Electrics running Grass coverage, like Thundy-T or Zeraora, and Mega-TTar but thats what the other 4 slots are for! Clefable has been my go to 3rd defensive mon on Steela Gastro teams, as it provides utility with Knock, Thunder Wave, or Rocks to allow Gastrodon to run Spikes. If you prefer, you can drop Stealth Rocks/Thunder Wave on Clefable for Knock Off, or move Stealth Rocks to Tyranitar over Knock/Superpower.

The offensive core of the team is Cinderace + Mega-Tyranitar + Excadrill. I'm just realizing these guys are all physical attackers, but with Mola gone the tier doesn't have the greatest Physical Walls, and both TTar and Ace threaten Skarmory for Excadrill. Gunk on Cinderace allows you to handle Tapu Fini and Wisp was chosen over High Jump Kick because TTar already has Superpower. If you are running Rocks on TTar, I would replace Wisp with HJK. Mega-TTar here is a 4 attacks set, as being able to Superpower other Tyranitars or Excadrills not expecting you to be able to OHKO them from full is really, REALLY good. The other 3 moves are pretty much essential. Excadrill is a standard Sand Rush set, nothing special there. Very good in current meta if you can get a SD up, and Cinderace and TTar help wear down checks like Slowbro, Skarmory and Celesteela.

This team is the one I am most confident in nomming for a Sample. It's very versatile, pretty easy to pick up and is great in current Meta. It also has customizability with movesets as people get more confident with the team. This is the team that I used to get to number 1 on ladder too, so it has put up some results for sure.

:sv/{Sinistcha}: :sv/{Bisharp}: :sv/{Venusaur-Mega}: :sv/{Celesteela}: :sv/{Gastrodon}: :sv/{Cinderace}:

This is a more recent team I've built, but man is it fun. Sinistcha is great in current meta, as despite all the Mega-TTars running around, with Grassium Z it can not only set up on but BEAT TTar 1v1. Z-Strength Sap gives Teapot a defense boost, letting it Calm Mind and sweep through the rest of the team, and while not as great Bloom Doom is a 160 BP nuke if necessary against Unaware Clefable.

This team is more of a Fat team built around Teapot + Bisharp covering each others bad matchups. Low Kick Bisharp with 176 speed outspeeds max speed Adamant M-TTar and OHKOs. The rest of the team is Gastro + Steela with Mega-Venu to help with Electrics and defensive Ace for Hazard Control/semi-Speed Control. While not as solid as the first team, this team is still great and a lot of fun to play. Teapot is great!

Hope these teams are enough in the defensive direction! The meta is overwhelmingly Fat/Balance/Sand teams, so I feel like this is representative of what defense looks like right now. Stall cannot be good until Iron Moth is banned, but once it is I will cook up some Stall for the Samples so everyone on ladder can suffer and complain about Stall being too good (just run Ursaluna cowards)!!!!

I assumed that sample submission is still open (I don't know, this thread is dead) so I will share a team of mine that I made for suspect test. First of all I want to clarify that I don't play much of the meta so my team might lose to some common threats but I have done 2 suspects by now in this tier so I think I know a little bit about how this meta work.
The team: :tyranitar-mega: :ogerpon-cornerstone: :excadrill: :tapu fini: :Slowking-galar: :celesteela:
It is nothing out of the ordinary, just another :Excadrill: :Tyranitar-Mega: sand team but I still want to share this since I haven't seen people use :Ogerpon-Cornerstone: that much - a mon who I believe is kind of broken. There's no real wall to this monster as most can't take STAB + Knock off that well. Most of the time people will try to soft check it with stuff like :Celesteela:, :Skarmory: or :Venusaur-Mega:, all of which you really want to weaken in order for :Excadrill: to sweep late game. Sand boosts Ogerpon-Cornerstone Spd, allow it to switch in vs Tapu Fini or Mega Venusaur while Rapid Spin from Excadrill helps keep the hazard of the field and Sturdy intact for dangerous threats. :Choice Scarf: :Tapu Fini: is also a pretty funny mon as it can catch people off guard and do some heavy damage, also nice for speed control if sand isn't up for Excadrill. :Slowking-Galar: is a weird mon on the team because Chilly Reception overwrites sand but it doesn't really matter most of the time. Physdef :Celesteela: is also a weird mon, you will see this mon Spd more often than not. I just want a Steel/Flying type but Skarm feels too passive to me.
Overall this team is pretty consistent, it has enough offensive power to overcome hard mus. I went 29-2 on my suspect run, played against some decent opponents so I think this team is good for climbing to 1500s. Higher than that, I'm not sure. That's all, have fun.

There is not nearly enough Porygon-Z content on here!

The Team:

:Porygon-Z: :Celesteela: :Iron Hands: :Iron Moth: :Iron Treads: :Ogerpon-Cornerstone:
(Click on one of the pokemon to get to the paste)

Thought Process:
  • The idea was to make my favorite 'mon work in NatDex UU. It's true that:Porygon-Z: languishes in RUBL, not good enough for UU, yet too good for RU. That's because it’s Z-Conversion is pretty potent, but there are other 'mons who can get omniboosts with their Z-moves more consistently (like:Jirachi:). However,:Porygon-Z: does get a type change using Z-Conversion, and has way more power backing it.
  • Iron Hands is here to take on:Porygon-Z:'s checks (:Tyranitar:,:Chansey:, etc.). And since:Porygon-Z: works best on hyper offense, I put in the HO core:Iron Hands:/:Iron Treads:/:Iron Moth:because it's tried-and-true.:Celesteela: threatens other steel types and checks fighting types. And finally,:Ogerpon-Cornerstone: takes on common waters and grounds such as:Rotom-Wash:,:Gastrodon:,:Excadrill:, etc. with its sturdy ability.
Tips:
  • Nearly every member of the team has sweep potential, but they typiclly need a turn to set up first.:Iron Treads: has booster energy, as does:Iron Moth:, so they're essentially your revenger killers/situational wallbreakers, once per match. Since it's hyper offense, you need to be really smart with your switches to create free turns for setup. Not a whole lot of switching in and out because you waste your boosts, but if you never switch you're gonna lose (welcome to singles).
  • The best leads in my experience are:Iron Treads: (obviously, he has rocks), or:Ogerpon-Cornerstone: as a mixup if you think your opponent will lead with something to kill:Iron Treads:. You may want to save his once-per-game speed boost for later, and:Ogerpon-Cornerstone: has Sturdy, so it will likely kill whatever you lead it against. Trailblaze up and kill!
  • :Celesteela:'s Autotomize can make it a pretty good win condition, especially if you have good flinch luck with Air Slash. If you can create a turn to Autotomize and get off Meteor Beam (sped up by Power Herb),:Celesteela:'s typing and natural bulk make it pretty hard to out. Probably the safest 'mon to set up with, as very few 'mons can come in and threaten it on +2 to Speed and SpA.
  • :Porygon-Z: can be extremely potent and surprising, but he works best if you save him as your cleanup sweeper. Late in the game, it's unlikely your opponent will still have the tools to take out his boosts (with roar, clear smog, etc) because you will have (hopefully) been smart about eliminating those tools from the opposing team during the midgame.

Unfortunately this team is now outdated as several of its members are now banned (sad face)

This is a team that shot me up 200 elo in one day, which is definitely proof of its efficacy.

The team:
:Excadrill: Excadrill is a tried and true lead. It is almost guaranteed to go neutral in most scenarios, and can typically get rocks up and/or get at least one kill before dying
:Latios: with the introduction of Luster Purge, Soul Dew Latios is an insane threat. To the untrained eye you can bluff being choiced, deal incredible damage, and with flip turn are allowed to pivot out on a dime with Latios's incredible speed tier
:Thundurus-Therian: a classic scarfer on a voltturn team. I would say it's probably the weakest link of the team, but it solves the most amount of headaches in the most efficient manner possible. Giving you an electric and ground immunity, chipping down important threats, and providing a very strong pivot option.
:Clefable: a classic bulky pivot, Rocky Helmet Clefable gives wishpassing support for longer games against bulkier teams and provides a good way to punish pivots.
:Cinderace: another tried and true wallbreaker. Cinderace has a lot of good buttons it can click, and a lot of shit dies to it really easily. Its speed tier is also really nice, naturally outspeeding most of the meta.
:Celesteela: the win condition, and a damned good one. Autonomize heavy slam is really good on this Mon and with Edgequake support it allows for incredibly efficient lategame cleaning.
