Meh, I may not be an expert but those mistakes you made could have easily been avoided. Funny to me how everyone else will find a mistake in everyone else's warstories and say how they should have been avoided, but when you make the same ones, those same people come and say "Bravo! Those mistakes were just tiny!." I for one think that the game could have been played better had you thought just a bit harder rather than passing over what could have cost you the game.
Your opponent gave up Infernape at a time when it seemed to me he shouldn't have. He knew your Dragonite was a lead, and to be quite frank, almost no lead Dragonites run without Extremespeed. The switch there should have been made to Rotom-H, meaning that he could have easily, from that point, outplayed you and probably won the match. Not to say you lack skill, but he would have had a major advantage against you there. Of course, he may have been simply overpredicting thinking you would DM, trying to keep Rotom-H well, but that would have been too risky at that point to even think about. In my mind, it doesn't seem plausible to go ahead and DM when Extremespeed would have sufficed and not cost you 2 Sp.A points.
Other than that, a great warstory and the comments really made it better. I'd give it a rating, but I don't have a criteria written out to rate it with. If I had to come up with one off the top of my head, 4/5 for yourself and 3.5/5 for your opponent. The comments, though, get a 5 from me. Looking forward to another if you get a better match.
EDIT: For some reason I missed a large post where you explained why it is that he would have sacrificed Infernape, I think I may have just skipped the paragraph though, thinking it was related to prediction more so than it was to Infernape. Either way my thoughts remain the same.
