I thought they were talking about bringing favela back or something in the first map pack... shame, that was one of the better MW2 maps...

also, the way the map packs are being released is very confusing, it seems. premium elite subscribers will get the two maps first (for free), which are, as it seems, PART of a map pack, not all of it. next month, premium elite members will get another piece of the pack, and in march, the third piece will be given to premium elite members and all of the maps as a whole will be released to the general population for purchase.

so yeah, normal cod players will have to wait another three months to put up with these small maps that get boring... crap.

They fixed that issue, the MK14 has such a low fire cap that even with rapid fire most people can fire it as fast as possible.

Now the type 95 and FMG akimbo are just stupid, even with the nerf they are still overpowered. Both need their damage reduced.

And the Type 95 was never overpowered. Three round burst. And besides, no one complained about the FAMAS in MW2.

A reliable assault rifle or submachine gun (with either Kick or Range). Use whatever your comfortable with.

Tip: Whenever you spawn, switch to the FMG9s right away so you won't have to deal with unfolding it later.


Thankfully, I use the Magnum.

for all its worth, your FMG will basically be your primary...
Anything that has good range-effectiveness that your FMG can't reach, so snipers/mk14 is usually good, or the ACR.

I don't know what it is with this game. But i cannot stay alive for long if i'm not camping in corner with blind eye and assasin + silencer.

The spawns have fucked me over so many times. longest killstreak i had was 13... :/
kdr = 1.318 so that is not too bad.. but it aint great either.

and there seems to be alot of wallhacks going around for pc. Not too big of a deal, but certainly in a playsession of 2hours you will face a party where all the members of that party have one leading to complete frustration...

For example , the killcam showed the dude looking at me thru a wall, noticing what path i was going to take (as he was following my movement thru the wall) and decided to go the other way and knife me in the back while at all times looking at me thru the wall.
to top things off he was only using FMG9's..
I don't mind ppl using them, but if they only use them its just sad.

At close range, the ACR you mentioned kills in 0.170 seconds. The Type 95 kills in 0.060 seconds.

right now the biggest problem with this game is the stupid damage proficiency glitch (only works on 360 so you ps3 users don't likely know what im referring to) but basically it allows you to put the damage proficiency on any weapon and in some instances you can have it on your secondary. so basically you have kids running around with the damage glitch on the mk14 (one hit kill, mad gay) or the fmg9s etc. So annoying and they need to patch it asap.

Haha, it must suck real bad for shotgun users now with the Extended Mags glitch being removed. The only one that got away OK is the Model 1887.

They're still worse than the Striker was though. And seeing how shotguns are so outclassed, that doesn't bode well. I might try some of the others out for fun though, a better chance to.

Specialist Killstreak: Sleight of Hand / Hardline / Scavenger
Final Stand

This class is a lot of fun. I don't have any troubles with campers while using this class. Since if they are hit by a grenade of any sort they are pinned on the radar. I see equipment and such miles away. I'm not fazed by Secondary grenades. It's nice.

After playing for a while I have found the CoD4 guns to be my favorites since I'm used to the feel of the guns and stuff, unless they got drastically changed. Like the M16.

I have a lot of fun using Riot Shield, I rarely use automatic guns anymore, I either go RIot Shield, MK14, Pistols and some snipers.

Using Riot Shield is what makes me keep playing this game, its insanely fun to capture objectives, without the other team being able to do much about it, its fun to use Sleight Of Hand Pro with it, so when people shoot my riot shield, and they reload, I take out a Pistol and they cannot do anything about it.
AND of course there is QuickDraw Pro and using Throwing Knife.

Does anyone here play this game on the ps3 regularly? Me and a buddy of mine have been looking for more peeps to play with since our clan's members have been MIA (for the most part). We're both pretty beast, I rock a 2.7 kd with a 22.0 wl and my bud rocks a 4.5 kd with a ~20.0 wl so we'll definitely be tearing shit up. We just want more peeps so we can play other gamemodes other than tdm (2 people can only do so much when you have to carry 4 splitscreeners in Dom). If you're feelin' it, throw both of us a friend request and type up 'synic's recommendation' or something so we don't overlook it.
