Minor Meta Modifcations Metagame (aka M4) Development thread

M4 OU is a COMMUNITY project where we take pokemon from OU and only MINORLY buff them

so basically
- limited to 2 new moves max
- have to be flavor based
- +20 BST max
- 1 new ability max
- 1 new typing max
- a pokemon cannot have all of these at the same time

anyways the way this works is that there are 2 threads:

1 is for an analysis index type thread where people reserve things and then post them and then once done they get checked by 2/5 people of the "QC" of M4. if it gets 2 rejected stamps, its out

this is the thread used for developing and reservations

the other is for the official discussion thread where peopel talk about the metagame and shit

How about this one:

Ability: Protean as a Gen 6 Hidden Ability

It has the genetics of all Pokemon. Why can't it change types to fit the moves? Obviously, now it will make be illegal with all non-6th Gen moves though but that shouldn't be a problem.

How about Jynx?

Typing : Fairy over Psychic.

She is the female counterpart to Mr. Mime and as such deserves a fairy typing to replace her Psychic typing due to learning fairy themed attacks in draining kiss, sweet kiss and having her own signature move in lovely kiss.

Stats: +16 to Speed and +4 to SpA. (95 Spe to 111 Spe and 115 SpA to 119).

Ability: Technician

Big hands, counterpart to Mr. Mime, which will boost her only Stab offensive fairy move - Draining Kiss, while boosting her Frost Breathe and coverage move in Hidden Power.

I didn't give her any new moves so I stayed in the all but 1 rule.

Erm, I'm fairly certain Jynx is in a trio with Magmar and Electabuzz, not Mr. Mime

Ok, but then why did her and Mr Mime not get evolutions like Mag and Buzz? Anyways. Hopefully the suggestions put her in good standing for OU.

reserving rampardos

Ability Change: Sand Rush
Type change: Rock-Dragon
Movepool change: + dragon claw

Its animation depicts it charging at things, it lives in the desert, and it's pretty fast in the anime. Sand rush helps with its speed, which was its main weakness. Rampardos is still stopped by opposing weather, priority, quag, skarm, etc., so it's not particularly broken. Rock Dragon fits b/c its a dinosaur, and dragon claw, because it has claws, so why not (actually monte suggested the dragon stuff but whatever)

also no rock head because rock polish + head smash is just overkill

Abillity Change: Regenerator

Moltres is 4x weak to stealth rock, so giving it Regenerator would help it deal with that weakness and become a usable pokemon in the metagame. In a flavour scenario, Phoneixs often are shown to have regenerative abillites so It would only make sense to give Moltres that ability.

+ Fairy Type (It looks like a fairy, at least to the same extent Clefable and Wigglytuff do... it's also really nice and helps people).

you're not limited to only one changed you just can't buff a pokemon in every aspect possible at once
