EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Naive / Timid Nature

- Mystical Fire
- Earth Power / Psychic
- Diamond Storm / Spikes

[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Diancie is the ideal Mega Evolution for Rock teams due to its ability to check Dragon-types like Kommo-o, punish passive Pokemon and entry hazard setters such as Toxapex and Klefki with Magic Bounce, and be a mixed wallbreaker that threatens Great Tusk and Galarian Slowking. Diamond Storm does considerable damage to special walls like Blissey and Alolan Muk and can also provide a Defense boost. Psychic heavily damages Mega Venusaur, Toxapex, and Nidoking, which eases the matchup against Poison teams. Earth Power deals heavy damage to Steel-type Pokemon like Heatran and Iron Treads and is paired nicely with Mystical Fire to damage Skarmory and Corviknight. On a hyper offensive team, Mega Diancie runs four attacks for coverage. With Shuckle's Sticky Web up, its good Speed tier becomes more devastating and outspeeds Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Zeraora. Mega Diancie also pairs well with Omastar and Terrakion, as Omastar takes care of the Ground matchup with a well-timed Shell Smash, while Terrakion's access to Earthquake and Close Combat takes care of most Steel-types. On bulky offense, Mega Diancie prefers to run Spikes, as the chip damage sets up a potential late-game cleanup from more offensive Pokemon on the team like Terrakion and Nihilego. Garganacl pairs well with Spikes, as Salt Cure forces a lot of Pokemon to switch out and take additional chip damage.

Mega Diancie is a much needed Pokemon (Ideal/best(?) Mega for Rock teams might be better) in mono rock teams due to it's hazard prevention, coverage and overall damage output (I think you can delete the next 3 sentence and incorporate those here instead.). To start, Mega Diancie makes MUs like fighting less brutal due to it's access to moonblast and psychic being able to deal with scary mons like Z Kommo-o and Great Tusk. With it's ability Magic Bounce it becomes a good switch in to hazard setters like Shuckle and Ting-Lu. It's fairy typing makes it so MUs like dragon and dark aren't immediate losses with it's access to Moonblast plus it being STAB and having a base special attack stat of 100 (its not just 100...). Diamond storm is nice as it gives you a 50% chance to get a +2 to you defense stat allowing you to have a roll against a bullet punch from max attack Mega-Scizor at full HP and also allowing you to do considerable damage to pokemon like Pelipper, Rotom-Heat and Zapdos. (Its mainly for Special walls, Rotom-H and Zapdos are kinda negligible for Rock teams too) Psychic allows you to give grass and poison a hard time since it does over half to a physically defensive Mega-Venusaur. (Mention Earth Power too) On a hyper offensive team Mega-Diancie allows for hazard prevention that is so desperately needed and is able to punish more passive mons by setting up spikes and providing chip to any grounded, non heavy-duty boots pokemon that decide to come in (examples of Pokemon feels better than general concepts imo. Also missing the team mates for HO teams which is the better Rock setup too rn). On a Bulky Offensive oriented team Mega-Diancie provides coverage where pokemon like Cradilly and Coalossal allow you to not instantly lose to Ground, Water, Grass and Steel (You still kinda lose to Water and Grass, its more of dealing with types with 1 annoying Water/Grass/Ground type). Mega-Diancie prefers to run naive nature when running diamond storm so there is no attack stat drop while if it is running spikes it prefers timid nature.

Mega Diancie is an the ideal mega Mega Evolution for mono rock Rock teams due to its ability to check Dragon-types like Kommonium Z Kommo-o, punish passive Pokemon and entry hazard setters such as Toxapex and Klefki with Magic Bounce, and be a mixed wallbreaker which lets it threaten _ and _ (insert pokemon that M.Dia beats that Fight struggles with. Feel free to change up this sentence though, on rereading it feels a little off) due to it's hazard prevention, coverage and overall damage output with moonblast being being able to take care of most fighting and dragon types, magic bounce allowing Mega-Diancie to become a good switch in to passive pokemon like ting-lu and toxapex and having a signature move in diamond storm which has a 50% chance to raise your defense stat by 2+. Diamond Storm lets Mega Diancie do considerable damage to special walls like Blissey and Alolan Muk, and can also provide Mega Diancie a Defense boost which gives it a chance to not be OHKO'ed by Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch (honestly doesnt seem that important because 1.)You probably wont get it before it punches you esp in matchups like steel and 2.)If you get a defense boost from someone you killed last turn, then you're probably not at full HP) Getting that boost allows you to have a roll against a bullet punch from max attack Mega-Scizor at full HP and also allowing you to do considerable damage to speial walls like Blissey. Psychic heavily damages Mega Venusaur (and Toxapex/Nidoking, if you want, since you break Poison teams with Psychic, as you said later) which eases the matchup against Poison teams. allows you to give grass and poison a hard time since it does over half to a physically defensive Mega-Venusaur. Earth power also helps with the poison MU as rock tends to struggle against stall/semi stall (EP feels like something for Steel as M.Dia struggles with M.Ven w/ no Psychic). On a hyper offensive team Mega-Diancie allows for hazard prevention that is so desperately needed and is able to punish more passive mons by setting up spikes and providing chip pokemon like Toxapex and Scizor (I think you'd use 4A on HO, and 3A+Spikes on less aggresive teams). It pairs well with it's HO team mates in Minior and air balloon Omastar allowing them to come in on an earthquake and to not suffer to stealth rock damage.(I'd probably mention Shuckle for HO, turns M.Dia's lukewarm speedtier to actually scary. You also dont need 2 shell smashers as team mates, add Terrakion over Minior imo) On a Bulky Offensive oriented team Mega-Diancie provides coverage where pokemon like Cradilly and Coalossal allow you to not instantly lose to Ground, and Steel (you win vs Ground via a well timed Smash Balloon Oma, Cradily gets the iron head. Probably not the best examples?). Mega-Diancie prefers to run naive nature when running diamond storm so there is no attack stat drop while if it is running spikes it prefers timid nature.

I heavily edited this analyses. I've also rewritten some of the first sentences so that you have something to follow up on
Some notes before tagging me again for the stamp (ngl I forgot to put this the first time)
>"You" [the pronoun] is banned in writing analyses
>Pokemon types are capitalized (eg Grass-types)
>Abbreviations are also not too good, for instance MU->matchup, HO->Hyper Offensive
>Items are capitalized, air balloon->Air Balloon for instance

Its your first time, so yea....We're almost there though :blobnom:

Mega Diancie the ideal Mega Evolution for Rock teams due to its ability to check Dragon-types like Kommonium Z Kommo-oO, punish passive Pokemon and entry hazard setters such as Toxapex and Klefki with Magic Bounce, and be a mixed wallbreaker which lets it threaten Great Tusk and Iron Hands. Diamond Storm lets Mega Diancie do considerable damage to special walls like Blissey and Alolan Muk, and can also provide Mega Diancie a Defense boost. Psychic heavily damages Mega Venusaur, Toxapex and Nidoking which eases the matchup against Poison teams. Earth Power deals heavy damage to Steel Pokemon like Heatran and Iron Treads and is paired nicely with Mystical Fire to damage Skarmory and Corviknight. On a Hyper Offensive team Mega Diancie runs 4 four attacks for coverage and with Shuckle's Sticky Webs up makes its lukewarm decent speed tier into a devastating one (can you name fast mons you threaten now with the webs?). Mega Diancie also pairs well with its team mates Omastar and Terrakion as Omastar is able to take care of the Gground matchuip with a well timed Shell Smash and with Terrakion's access to Earthquake and Close Combat being able to take care of most Steel types (it also threatens fast stuff like Specs Gren/Cinderace which is pretty scary too). On a Bulky Offenseive oriented team, Mega Diancie prefers to run the 3 attacks and Spikes set as the chip damage from them it will allow for a potential late game cleanup from the more offensive Pokemon on the team like Mega Diancie (someone else) and Nihilego. (Mention Garganacl, which benefits from spikes since salt cure forces a ton of switches too) Mega Diancie prefers to run Naive nature when running the 4 attack set so there is no decrease in the Attack stat while it prefers Timid nature when running 3 attacks and Spikes. (no need for this line I think)

1/2, Thank you Bork :3

For future reference, move / nature slashes in sets are done exactly how I worded it here
So it would be:
Naive / Timid Nature
Earth Power / Psychic
Diamond Storm / Spikes

(you listed two Pokemon weak to Moonblast which doesn’t really showcase the “mixed attacker” strength Diancie has, Iron Hands running AV makes that example quite shoddy as well, recommend listing Slowking-Galar here as it is 2HKOd by Diamond Storm, especially with the emphasis on the Poison matchup later on) Diamond Storm lets Mega Diancie do considerable damage to special walls like Blissey and Alolan Muk, and can also provide Mega Diancie a Defense boost. Psychic heavily damages Mega Venusaur, Toxapex and Nidoking which eases the matchup against Poison teams. Earth Power deals heavy damage to Steel-type Pokemon like Heatran and Iron Treads and is paired nicely with Mystical Fire to damage Skarmory and Corviknight. On a Hyper Offensive team Mega Diancie runs four attacks for coverage and with Shuckle's Sticky Webs up makes its decent good speed tier (base 110 Speed is above average) into a devastating one and can outspeed Pokemon like Greninja and Iron Valiant. (use better examples as both of these can run Choice Scarf so they still outspeed Diancie after Webs thanks to their speed tiers, recommend a slower Choice Scarf example such as Buzzwole and most notably, Mega Swampert in rain) Mega Diancie also pairs well with Omastar and Terrakion as Omastar is able to take care of the Ground matchup with a well timed Shell Smash and with Terrakion's access to Earthquake and Close Combat being able allows it to take care of most Steel-types and Choice Specs Greninja.
